Stupid Exec A: The dark knight thing has grossed great, we should make the upcoming movies darker because that's what is making people go see them
Lo and Behold in 2016 we get this POS. It should be re-titled POS: Give us your money please!
What a stupid story. Stupid characterizations. Slow motion scenes that serve no purpose. An aimless villain. A cracked and rocky narrative. Cameos by Justice League that are worthless. A stupid Batman with no intelligence whatsoever. A stupid-er Superman with no intelligence whatsoever.
I love The Watchmen, it's a masterpiece in my opinion. Can't believe the guy who directed that did this. The movie has plot lines that are just crammed there without ever making an effort to make them coherent and seamless.
1. Lois is in Africa interviewing a dictator/terrorist figure. Superman saves her a magic bullet is found. Lois starts to investigate the bullet.That is it the story does not go anywhere after that.
2. Wonder Woman states in the end that she has left man's world but lurks around Gotham & Metropolis dressed as a supermodel using ATM Machines, crashing parties and boarding flights. What was the point?
3. The Government does not seize all the world engines and their contents. Really? American govt just went by the way side and didn't acquire every world engine crap left by Zod.
4. Most people hate Superman yet he has a monument.
5. Batman has a hard-on for Superman the whole time but couldn't figure out it wasn't his employee that was sending him the notes. Batman befriends Superman when he finds out their mothers have the same first name.
6. Batman has been operating since 20 years and yet nobody has heard of him and everybody calls him The Bat. It was like he was starting his career as Batman. No scene or actions of Bruce Wayne added weight to the older Batman operating since 20 years point.
7. Superman is a bitch who can't just freeze Lex and Batman and save his mom.
8. Superman is a bitch who cries all the time and looks depressed.
9. Superman and Batman both daydream a lot.
10. Lex's plan was?
It's like Zack Snyder took Superman & Batman, removed all the intelligence, stripped them of their core essentials and dumped his empty new-age edgy bull crap ideologies into their bodies. Actual professionals were paid to write and direct this. They could have done wonders with the source material and the rich history of the Characters but instead he took a giant crap on them.
1 Star for Jeremy Irons who i thought was the best movie Alfred. 1 Star for Laurence Fishburne who really cracked me up with his dialogs.
