The Wire: Reformation (2004)
Slow Train Coming
Brother Mouzone returns. Nothing has really changed since he was last here. The towers are down, evidence of people trying to reform but sirens continuously ring in the background. Stringer and Colvins ideas of reform are coming to an end. Such a well played out episode.
Better Call Saul: Something Unforgivable (2020)
Something Trilogy
The 2 episodes in season 4 Something Beautiful and Something Stupid are so important for this episode. This being Something Unforgiveable gives me the impression that this is a mini trilogy of themes around Kim. There are direct shots and plot points that contrast this episode and make Kim's change of character not sudden at all and makes perfect sense. I highly recommend people revist those episodes to see the beauty in the writing of this season finale that sets up what I believe to be a huge tragedy in s6.
Better Call Saul: Bad Choice Road (2020)
Kim The Goat
Kim saw the cup with the bullet hole. When Jimmy told Lalo he can have his money back from the bag the cup is still there. Kim realises this and steps in. Amazing writing incredible build up
Better Call Saul: Nailed (2016)
My top 5 so far
Up to s5 and this is still in my top 5 best bcs episodes.
Better Call Saul: Bagman (2020)
Even Better on Second Watch
I loved it first time but on second viewing I noticed so many more details. Lots of water/piss symbolism and soundtrack is fantastic This is a high art show.
Better Call Saul (2015)
Everything is done for a reason
The attention to detail in the writing is incredible. That last scene starting with a shot of Jimmys face reflecting two sides of JMM. Just make money vs Justice matters most 2 massive choices ethically and personally then Howard comes along... Howard who now offers a job where Jimmy once aspired to join. It has now become irritating for Jimmy considering where he is now and the massive change in his life including his name and Jimmy explodes! Bob Odenkirks amazing acting really hitting home the tragedy in this.

The detail in the writing is incredible. In the last scene the shot of Jimmys face reflecting shows the two sides of JMM. Just make money vs Justice matters most. Jimmy struggling with this massive ethical choice. Then Howard shows up and offers a job at HHM where Jimmy once aspired to join. This is irritating for Jimmy considering how deep he is at now with Saul Goodman (name change and who is working with) and so he explodes. Bob Odenkirks amazing acting really hits home the tragedy.
