Long I was suspecting that from the two cities who suffered in WWII (Stalingrad and Leningrad) the latter has a far more tragic story to tell....allthough cinema in both east and west glorifies the war against Nazi Germany especially because Stalingrad is the bloodiest battle till now....the effects were more time enduring in Leningrad -St Petersburg now and we must consider ourselves lucky that the great museum of Hermitage was saved for the upcomming generations....nowhere ekse in post Soviet Union was the results of WWII more visible than here...Russia bore the bulk of Germany's war machine and that's why they are just 146 mil.instead of 300 + they should have been by now every single home had casualties mainly people of reproductive age....it took decades for Russia to return in a normal way of life ..even more than their foes..women especially not only lost their mental health which could drive them to the goal of creating families but also drove them to leave the places of suffering and immigrate to all corners of Europe (for the delight of local men) in order to forget the hell they faced .....allthough I have photographs of Stukas flying over Hermitage by the river I suspect maybe Goering was somewhat planning a future plundering it and it remained intact.... I don't know if the youing director tried to make a statement but the Sasha character resembles a funny wisel phase Putin at a young age .....finally the only other actress I remember to be that tall is Lilly Cole from the movie " The Imaginariun of Dr. Parnassus"

I camne by chance upon this movie and gave it a shot due to Roberts and Bensen acting together but what came out was a most boring 8 minutes sex scene of the late Lorissa McComas and a reminder of a childhood movie about a T-Rex battling with a buldozer ( copied by Ripley battling the Allien Queen)....the 4 stars go for the body of Lorissa ( two for either tit)....not sure if she ever had a carreer in adult movies..have to check this out. Being not a US citizen I read that there is a cult circling around a series of movies about the Carnosaurus species which this ain't (lack of bony eyebrows)..that is perfectly acceptable if we think that British movies like "When Dinosaurs ruled the Earth" also has cult viewers.

Just watched a bit of "Black Panther Wakanda for ever" and even that on a speeding run........what a lot of rubbish....it is a mixture of Prince of Zamunda- Predator-Transformers -Avatar-Aquaman...and in the end we have also a Fast and Furious american car ......I guess the only thing this film can be compared to... is the mixture of colours that usually black people wear on an every day basis.....I guess it will earn the "Rasberry Award" and I cannot understand why Angela Basset did not expect that ...after all she is an experienced actress I hope they don't plan for a sequel ....allthough I fear they will.

Humans always try to discover the meaning of life through power sex and feelings...it is never easy most of the time it ends up in failure I think it has to do with time....as we progress we try and sometimes manage to be at an equilibrium with all three of them....when we are young we cannot understand them and we constrantly fall into contradictions I was in love 1st time at 16 so much that I was not able to perform so I retrieved in sorrow but from then on I became very tough and never got any real feelings for any of my partners hurting a lot of peoiple on the way ........half a century later and hjaving gone through all aspects of life family children grandchildren succesfull job and a nice standard of life I still find myself wandering if I could have done better...I know that when young and full of energy you cannot stay idle but the truth is that if you do stop and try to discover you real self you can then proceed with a better chance in hapiness and that is what this film is about I really enjoyed it.

A very nice surprise this movie which reminds the atmospheric thriller "Body Double" from director Brian De Palma and has a similar music score to match.....the scenario is a bit too far fetched towards the end but all and all a very good movie with desent performances....allthogh the "femme Fatalle" is the other girl the protagonist steals the show with her rich modestly concealed treasures.

Everybody knows that drugs are a menace to society...I cannot really imagine how difficult it must have been for the families who have a member adict because I've never had one but I 'm only guessing it might be similar to a serious sickness (cancer -Leukemia etc)...the futility makes you feel so weak to battle anything but you have to for the person's sake......both Glen Close and Mila Kunis are superb to the relative roles....but I couldn't help to think that the late Brittany Murphy would be a better candidate as a drug adict.

I can only say that the black jealous chick has more potential working in the known series of You Tube comic videos from Lagos Nigeria where an attractive but fat lady is always played upon by a husbad/bf/lover who cheats on her with an equally fat attractive chick but ultimately pays the price in a "Candid Camera" style.....as for the sharks..if they had a legal representative I'm sure they would sue the director.

I liked this very much ..maybe because I was prepared to watch a play rather than a movie and I wasn,t let down.....all characters entrances could very well be from a side door to the main stage......we all have seen films like that ( the magnificent Dogville etc) ....in this case we have materialisation of thoughts feellings concerns and fears ...part of each and everyone of us.....great performances of the two leading actors.....the end is also somehow open to individual interpretation.......the snowcovered vehicle looks more like Jakes car than the janitor,s track.....so anybody may ask himself which thing did really end that night or was more convinient to end for each and everyone of us????

There is no way I can explain the need Stallone had to play Rambo one more (and hope final) time.....he is too old too slow and too lethargic (even by his own standards) to perform the deed...one might wonder if dementia would allow the character to remember all the spots where he stashed hidden weapons for the "revenge" bloodbath...he proves to be less careful than his "nemesis" friend and colleague Arnold Swarzenegger who keeps it low....while the1st film (first Blood) was a gem and a glass of freshly poped Champagne this last film is like a Champagne forgotten in the fritz for some time....it is nothing like a good wine which ages well.....also long gone is the stereotypical US soldier and his PTSD...at that age other physical challenges play a more important role

Young people today seem to be so confused about lifes values that have decided to takle a day at the time....on the most itense personal moments backfires occur making them so reclusive and unapproacheful that the only meaning for them lies in the bottom of a bottle or in the smokes of pot or in drug abuse....family for them means only ties to the past and not something to look forward to which explains the population aging in Europe at least...the most tragic figure is the anorexic star who wants to win the borderline people and not the mainstream and fails....she is utterly disapointed and almosr suicidal.....she even denies an easy way out offered by the exploitation japanese master.....this decadence comes full circle every 100 years or so ..hence the parallelism to France,s impressionism (Mane -Renoir) with the lace scene....all in all it,s not a bad film...it just cannot help you to predict a viable future for generations to come and may be that is the point it wants to show.

When during my captain years I was crossing the Pacific about 500 miles north to Nemo point I let my imagination run wild as I was thinking that I sail over Cthulu,s home disrespecting his privacy and waiting an immenent attack.......later on...watched all these deep sea disaster movies involving Leviathans Megalodons etc......it took almost 50 years till someone had Cthulu play the villainous monster..even it takes place in the usual Marriana trench monster infested area some thousands of miles to the westnorthwest of the creature,s fictional home (the furthest point away from land) so...one star for that plus another one for watching Kirsten and Jessica with their panties...other than that a very cliche and ordinary movie
