This movie is unpredictable. Totally. I haven't read a book, did not know there was one, and decided to watch it because of its trailer. It's been a long time since I'm not able to say what's going to happen. Leave the World Behind made this to me. Its annoying soundtrack making you believe something is about to happen, the tension in all scenes and the racial issues got me think "what's next?" And then, at the end... I honestly did not expect that! It made angry first but then I realized that hasn't been a challenging movie for a long time. Actually, the end would be the perfect closure for this weird - yet quite good - thriller.

For those who did not watch the anime, this movie would be just ok. Effects are nice, the fights scenes are pretty good. But for the those who watched Saint Seiya, the original, this movie is horrible. The audience expects to see something that will at least remind the anime (actually, we all knew it would be a bad movie - all Saint Seiya remakes fail). The writers mixed many events disrespecting the story. They should name it something else, not Saint Seiya. Phoenix cosplay is the only thing that saves this movie, not even Marin's, Seiya's or Athena's outfits are good. I recommend watching the original series, from the 80's.

The plot is not confusing, but it could be simpler. There is too much story which is not well developed, nor well directed. There are too many pauses during lines, not even those old Mexican soap operas are like that! And way too many heads cut out of the scenes. Brazilian dubbing is awful, it's pretty terrible, and subtitles were not following the audio, so I had to stick with the weird dubbed version. It seems it were dubbed by unprofessional kids! And the movie, It feels like it's never going to end! The main story is nice and cute, the couple look good together. I am sure a great director would have made this film better.

I watched this film cause I was with my kid and there was no other movie suitable for him. Well, I might say what a great surprise! The plot is great, sensitive, touching. And the end is unexpected - something hard to see nowadays. One of three movies that had me crying...

The first anime (I remember) being broadcasted in Brazil. The first time people cared about voice actors. Knights of the Zodiac changed an entire generation. It's one of the best animes ever simply because it's the anime from our childhood, and we proudly invite our kids to watch and enjoy it as we do.

I just love Hunter x Hunter. And this is the best version. It's funny, it's human, it's interesting. 2011 version is only about fighting; 1999 brings more drama, the characters here are shown in a different way! And the soundtrack... it's simply amazing!!!!!!!

It's funny, my son and I love it. Jokes are nice and Jim Carey is perfect as Dr. Eggman! I didn't use to play nor watch Sonic till my son was born, and I must say the movie is good entertainment for the entire family.
