Lights Out (II) (2016)

Restored my faith in supernatural themed movies

Wasn't expecting much to be honest as all supernatural based movies have been rather... Well dull and disappointing this was different this was brilliant. Teresa Palmer really surprised me.... She was fantastic in this. I mean the story was good the jump scares were good it was honestly.. Genuinely the first supernatural themed movie I've enjoyed in a long time can't praise it enough it was fantastic watch it

Halloween (1978)

The Greatest horror movie of all time it really doesn't get better then this. This is a must for a horror fan if this isn't in your collection You ain't a horror fan at all it's a masterpiece pure and simple give it a go Watch it at night in the dark in a thunderstorm if possible lol It's so well done Carpenter is at his absolute best Jamie Lee Curtis was brilliant I mean the whole cast to be honest was great it's a must watch

Continues on from the brilliant first Film Halloween this one continues the night of terror Of Michael Myers no not that do I make you horny lunatic the killer Michael Myers lol So anyway this continues on I won't go on because I don't want to spoil the first movies ending so let's just say the first movie and this one are all taking on the same night And this sequel is as good as the first film do please watch it them both

Electric Dreams (1984)

It's not a family comedy it can be dark but it's brilliant

When I first watched this I was thinking like short circuit this film Would be you know a real family comedy It wasn't its can be rather dark at times yes there's some funny moments And there's the ending which I thought was funny and sweet but There was more then a few dark moments without giving anything away The way the computer tries to destroy his life how it messes with his credit cards Personal details now why it may of seen over the top in the 80s I mean a computer running ever appliance in your house and controlling Your life today it really has a creep factor to it A creep factor due to our strong dependency on computers This movie could almost be a true story lol

The Net (I) (1995)

Okay I'll say it I love Sandra Bullock There's nothing she has done that I haven't loved The Net is by far my favourite Sandra Bullock movie just ahead of While you where sleeping.... It may of seen far fetched back in the the day of its release One having their whole identity erased But today it's a horrifying reality with computers taking over the world as we speak It's a nail bitter for sure the pace the action never lets up And with our lives dependent of computer technology We are only a key stroke away from our whole identity being DELETED Watch this movie

Dark Water (2005)

It's Not A Horror Film But A Beautiful Film

This Movie tends to get a lot of hate due to its lack of horror. It's not scary it's not a horror movie there's no blood and gore These are the usual complaints I hear Which is a shame because in reality it's such a beautiful film So well made a great cast Jennifer Connelly is outstanding as too the actress Who plays her daughter the story is outstanding why somewhat predictable It's still fantastic the atmosphere is fantastic very dark It's a brilliant movie it's a shame it doesn't get enough credit Because some moron decided to say it's a horror movie it's not The fact is it's a beautiful movie one of the best I've seen for some time Please watch it

The Bucket List (2007)

Don't expect laugh after laugh it's not a comedy it's a heartfelt movie with some funny moments

Okay the thing about this movie is...... Well the best thing I can tell you is to go into this movie not expecting hilarity Because you will dislike it i hated it the first time I saw as I found it funny but not hilarious And to me I was like what a let down But I rewatched before doing this review and it was only then that I realised how beautiful The movie was how heartfelt it was only then did I absolutely love the movie It's not a comedy I look at it as a warm hearted movie with some funny moments

Horrible plot horrible script I mean a 40 yr old man playing a kid...,,,, But yet short somehow makes this work it's a light hearted comedy that I found Rather enjoyable you need to not be so uptight and just be like what the hell To enjoy this movie if you can't do that if you take yourself to seriously you won't like it And you be like a few reviewers on here and hate on the movie Be warned it is normal to loathe the character of Clifford Your either gonna love the character of Clifford or want to kill him lol

This is truly one of the greats as far as movies go And along with south by south west is my favourite Murder She Wrote Movie From the opening scene as camera soars of the beautiful Ireland landscape With the equally beautiful song second chance playing your hooked It's such an amazing movie you must watch it If you are a Murder She Wrote fan and haven't seen it watch it trust me If you are a MSW Fan and have watch it again If you have never experienced MSW please watch it and discover one of the greatest shows the world has produced

As for the movie Jessica Fletcher a crime writer travels to Ireland to attend A friends will reading only to be dragged into a clue driven hunt for her friends secret treasure

Pure Gold I live for these classic Hollywood days I'm so glad they have not been lost to my generation This is without question one of the greatest Movies ever Of course you are always going to encounter people on here That to be honest hate on everything To describe this movie a womens film is about the dumbest thing I've heard Give yourself an upper cut moron The movie is well made has amazing acting and can not be faulted

As for the movie a composer and his sister buy a house Which truly should be out of their price range Thinking they have got their dream house they soon learn their new house is anything But a dream and In fact may just be their worst nightmare

You must watch this

Murder, She Wrote: South by Southwest (1997 TV Movie)

Pure Murder She Wrote

This is Murder She Wrote at its best This movie is by far my fave along side the Celtic riddle It's a movie I can watch again and again Jessica Fletcher is traveling to a lecture by train When she befriends a women in protective custody When her new friend goes missing after dinner Jessica is attracted after being mistaking for her friend And with that JB decides to investigate This movie has a great cast great script and true Murder She Wrote Vibe That fans of the series will love Cannot not give it anything but a 10/10 If your a murder she wrote fan and you haven't seen it what the hell are you waiting for If you have seen it watch it again And if you have never seen or heard of murder she wrote Watch it and I promise you will discover one of the greatest shows of all time

Case 39 (2009)

Brilliant

First ignore the haters who hate on the movie due to the fact it ain't your usual horror There's no gore it's not a slasher it's a thriller that simple not a horror Now as for the movie I am not a Renee Zellweger fan Hell I most likely spelt her name wrong In fact her movies bore me to tears but this was brilliant It was suspenseful thriller that delivered the acting was brilliant The young girl was terrifying you must watch it

As for the morons on here saying its predictable what are you smoking It's anything but predictable the movie tells you the girl isn't a helpless little sweetheart It says in the movie description there's more to this girl then meets the eye It just goes to prove the ignorance of some people You know from the start that there's something different about this girl It tells you that in the bloody movies description

As for the movie A social worker fights to save a girl from abusive parents only to discover Soon after taking her in that this girl isn't what she thinks

It's a brilliant movie ignore the ignorant comments watch this movie

Breath taking, supernatural genre reinvented,Watch out the conjuring, Your heart and pulse will race, One of the scariest films in years These are some of the idiotic statements made to describe this movie By Netflix certain reviewers and review sites Throw in the 10 ratings on this site It leads you to believe this is set to be an experience Oh it's and experience all right it's an experience of pure boredom The facts are this there is nothing exciting or heart racing about this movie It's slow dull boring there is nothing even remotely chilling about this I've seen horror movies from the 30s and 40s that were scarier movies then this It's a sure cure for the insomniacs of this world The actress is by far the worst actress I've seen her attempts to come across as Ominous in the voice overs were purely annoying ..............................................

As for the plot a nurse who scares easily is hired to care for an ailing horror writer Who lives in a house that the new nurse believes holds dark secrets

You can read most of this before the spoiler I'll tell you when The spoiler is coming because it seems people didn't get the ending But before that This movie wasn't as bad as the drama queens make out It was okay but it was predictable Why it did its best to trick you guessed it from the beginning Which was disappointing but overall it wasn't bad it wasn't great but it wasn't bad I've seen worse now as for the story a family moves into a new house With a deadly history Emma (Moss) has a strong aversion towards her family's new house, especially the attic. After moving in, she becomes miserable and reclusive. The rest of her family also start to Act strange and unhappy The situation escalates one day when Emma is in the attic alone. All of a sudden someone who looks exactly like Emma attacks her viciously. Emma sets out to find out what's happening in the house and she believes the Attic Holds the key .........................................Okay here comes the spoiler ............................................... Okay here is the spoiler don't read past here if you don't want to know the ending And the meaning here we go........................................

Emma is convinced that someone or something is haunting her, and she refuses to leave her house until she can piece the puzzle together, with the assistance of John Trevor (Lewis), a sympathetic detective. Eventually, Emma suspects her parents of hiding skeletons in the closet from the family's past and practicing magical rituals using symbols Wicca seemingly stole from satanism. As the clues pile up, she discovers that she once had a sister named Beth, who died twelve days after Emma was born. Emma realizes that this identical apparition may actually be Beth returning to life. To get revenge for her death

Emma witnesses Beth kill her brother, and the police suspect it was really Emma. John Trevor comes to the rescue when Beth is trying to strangle Emma to death and leaves her with a gun. Convinced her parents got rid of her sister due to her being restarted She becomes convinced her parents are drugging her after coming down stairs And seeing her parents placing something in her drink She suspects that they are trying to kill her and murders both her parents. With the gun at point blank range .... When the police arrive, she tells the cops what happened the cops Don't believe her John Trevor enters dressed as a paramedic She tells John yo tell the cops what he knows and saw He says he doesn't know what she's talking about and claims he's just a paramedic Emma threatens "John Trevor", with the gun he gave her. As she points the gun at Trevor, she is really pointing the gun at herself, Trevor isn't really there you see it's the house Making her see Trevor and she's pointing the gun at her head but the house has her thinking its a John Trevor and when she pulls the trigger, she kills herself.

The police later discuss the incident, and Emma's former psychologist explains that Beth and Trevor were only in her mind. Another officer mentions that the previous owner of the house mysteriously died. The psychologist says that houses do not kill people, but in this case it did. The film ends as new family looks to buy the house. As a young girl about Emma's age explores the attic, "John Trevor", now a real estate agent called Ron, appears behind her and says they will be seeing a lot of each other.

What's it mean simple Emma wasn't crazy the house was possessed And the house was making Emma crazy by seeing John Trevor Hence the girl at the start of the movie that was a victim And the girl at the end was a new victim the house does the same thing over and over again with different female victims leading them all to insanity and suicide

The only thing I wasn't a hundred percent on was if the house or Emma killed her brother That was the only thing I couldn't workout I thought it was Emma anyway there you go

Haunting of Winchester House (2009 Video)

Look this movie was... Well it wasn't that it was horrible Now the acting Jesus Christ that was horror at its best But the film was more typical ghost movie cheesy music cheap scares that you saw coming Due to the fact every ghost flick has used them to death already And it felt like I was watching a goosebumps episode It wasn't scary at all In fact the movie was predictable everything was predictable The best way to describe it is you know when you watch a movie and then you watch The movie again you know everything that's going to happen that's what it was like Although I hadn't seen it I saw the scares or should I say the lack of scares coming And knew the ending straight away Here's the lo down A family moves into to a house now the story goes Susan (Lira Kellerman) and Drake (Michael Holmes), a couple become caretakers Of an old mansion now Susan and Drake and their daughter are relentlessly tormented by ghosts who dwell in the house and finally turn to Harrison Dent (Tomas Boykin), who is a paranormal investigator whom they hope may be able to put the house's ghosts to rest.

Here's the bad part it was so predictable I guessed the ending within 20 minutes you only have to listen to the dialogue and boom you know the ending Without giving anything away I thought around 10-20 minutes in I said this is what's gonna happen and guess what that's how it ended Second the scares are typical doll comes to life crawls slowly towards the bed And disappears and I thought bet it pops back up and scares the crap Out of her and guess what it did Another scene a blanket floats in the air their daughter slowly walks over to it Ominous music playing I thought she'll pull off the sheet And I bet there's nothing but air and guess what she pulls off the blanket And nothing but air Look it wasn't a bad movie just predictable from the ending the scares you knew they were going to happen before they did

Prince of Darkness (1987)

One of the most underrated movies ever

This Movie will end and you will have one of two opinions 1. It's one of the great movies ever or 2. It's just boring Seriously it's that simple it's not for everyone that's for sure It goes like this okay In a run down cellar in a church, a priest (Donald Pleasence) finds a weird vial That is filled with slime. Confused and frightened the priest Makes a call and brings his discovery to a circle of top scholars and scientists, who eventually learn the secret of the strange liquid and hell is unleashed But can they survive to tell the tale The cast is great carpenter really nails another movie with his directing It has a real classic feel to it I loved it try it

Escape from New York (1981)

One of the greats

It's the future New York has been turned into a cut throat prison Isolated from the rest of the world When Air Force One is high jacked It crashes in New York The President is held hostage by criminals In the cut throat hell that is now New York City And only one man has any chance to enter this hell on earth And escape alive from New York it's the hardened Criminal Snake Plissken This is without a doubt a movie that showed how good actions could be This is an absolute classic it must be seen by all genuine movie fans There is a reason this movie has stood the test of time and always will It's truly one of the greatest films ever to be made at the end of the day to be honest It's how action films should be so do your self a favour watch this movie Watch and enjoy

Finally a supernatural movie that delivered For so long the genre has disappointed me With cheesy camera tricks and scares But insidious has reinstalled my faith in the genre This has great scares a great story line That will keep you watching

The Lamberts son falls into a deep coma medical science can't explain it The hospital allows the Lamberts to have their child at home While he's in a coma But soon ghosts Demons Poltergeist and the supernatural start to arrive Turning the Lamberts house into a living nightmare they attempt to flee But soon realize this goes beyond a simple haunted house

This is truly a great movie loved it It's a great ghost movie it takes awhile to get going but it's worth it The performances are great It's worth a watch

Big Trouble in Little China (1986)

One of the great Movies

This cult classic is one of carpenters best And without doubt one of Kurt Russell's best movies It's a movie that just works on every level With a cast that just nails it its one of those rare movies That has a cast that is just perfect It really found its audience on VHS and continues to today on DVD and Blue-Ray The movie center's around Jack Burton (Russell) and his bizarre conflict within, and underneath, the streets of San Francisco's Chinatown Lo-Pan an evil sorcerer kidnaps his best friend Wang Chi's fiancé He and Wang Chi set off to get back Wang Chi's fiancé With the help of a few friends along the way The great thing about this movie and what makes it so funny Is the movie is meant to be an action movie but it's got so much comedy What I love about it is despite Jack Burton being Put up as the hero and Wang Chi the side kick it's actually the other way Wang Chi is really the guy who tends to get the two out of trouble Why Burton well Burton is basically John Wayne without the Brain You must see it it's a classic
