Relic (2020)
A dark depiction of dementia and it's horrors
I was surprised at how this film explorers this hard aspect of the human condition, and how every character deals with the impact of it.
The atmosphere was very well crafted too, delivered this feeling of oppression and eerieness...
I really enjoyed the experience this movie offered, and left me thinking about the subject
To agori troei to fagito tou pouliou (2012)
Not for everyone, but I loved it!
It's really hard to watch. I felt myself in the struggle of the main character, like in a hole so deep I couldn't figure out where to go.
Quite minimalistic, but hard to put into words what it made me feel. I like how everything was hinted at, or shown, rather than told; and how the main character is understood through body language mostly.
It's not a movie for everyone, though, it's more artsy, slow paced, experimental. Those are things I really enjoy in films, they are such an emotional experience. But sadly not a lot of people seek this kind of genre...
