The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great
Lana Wachowski failed to capture the magic of the Matrix that the Wachowski brothers created. The story is self aware that it's being forced by WB to pump out another movie. It is more of a jab at studios than a proper 4th installment of the series. The movie had too much member berries and not enough actual story and direction. The action shots were so zoomed in that it didn't feel like I was watching a Matrix movie, you couldn't see the fluid movements.
Leprechaun (1992)
Scared me as a kid, made me laugh as an adult
This is one of the scariest movies I saw when I was in grade 4, but now I rewatched it and it's actually pretty funny. It's a horror comedy, but doesn't excel in either, but is a well balance of both.
The Sasquatch Gang (2006)
Rewatchable
I've seen this movie at least 10-15 times over the last 13 years and there's not many movies that I can do that with. It's extremely quotable, my siblings and I reference it all of the time. So many one liners and hilarious scenes. If you loved Napoleon Dynamite or Nach Libre, you will love this.
What We Do in the Shadows: The Curse (2020)
Best Curse Ever
I totally forgot about those curses, it brought me back. I laughed my ass off the whole episode.
Movie 43 (2013)
Laughed and jostled things up in my chest from years ago
Third time watching this movie, and I'm still laughing incredibly hard. Some of the skits had me laughing until my face hurt.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Starwars Fans are the worst
I've been watching the film's since I was kid on Betamax. The original trilogy was great, but fans hold them as the greatest movies of all time and anything that doesn't fit their imagination of what the next movie will be like, is a disappointment to them. Out of this trilogy, I found Force Awakens was great, The Last Jedi was ok as a kids film. The love story they tried to force left a bad taste in my mouth, but this film nicely redeems the trilogy. I didn't find any annoying characters, the storyline was predictable but entertaining. Remember that it's a kids/family movie, as were all of the other films. Disregard all the extremely poor reviews by the "fans" that are angrily typing their reviews in their parents basements. This was a nice ending to the saga
6 Underground (2019)
Most action packed movie in a while
It's like Crank meets Smokin Aces meets Boondock Saints. It was awesome, way better than a lot of movies that have been coming out over the years. I'm surprised it wasn't a summer blockbuster. Michael Bay just Michael Bayed the crap out of this one.
