God of War (2005)
Kratos' journey to The God Of War
I played this recently for the first time ever.
The opening is amazing and really gets you hooked.
This game was revolutionary when it came out, I can see why.
This is a fun Slash and Hack game, with lots of ground to it, it feels driven and keeps you playing. Lots of enemies, puzzles and upgrading. It feels complete and new, the story really pushes the interest of the player and gets better throughout.
Towards the end it felt a bit dragged out for more playtime, other than that I thoroughly liked it.
Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)
Rabbit Season! Duck Season! Childhood classic that got better with age
This movie was great, last time I had seen it was when I was a kid. Extremely witty movie with a few laughs.
I find this movie very enjoyable, with lots of references and remarks I never understood as a kid.
The story itself does come across a bit bland and loses the main objective throughout for a few fourth wall breaks. It eventually loses its touch as the fill in for jokes gets bigger and bigger.
Nonetheless extremely fun movie to watch, but with hardly any feeling of storytelling and being quite easy to remember scene for scene it is a "Once In a While" kind of movie.
The Book of Eli (2010)
"The Book of Eli" A good film.
I liked this movie, it wasn't anything spectacular or new in any way but was certainly enjoyable to watch.
Had a good environment to it, decent story and great acting.
It felt a bit lacked in some elements and a little untouched in terms of story but otherwise a great watch.
Blade the Iron Cross (2020)
"Blade The Iron Cross" Worth the watch if you like Puppet Master
Blade The Iron Cross, an enjoyable movie.
This movie is a decent watch, it's not a bad movie at all. Low budget, bit of awkwardness to it but thats the Puppet Master spirit.
Titled "Blade" I was hoping we finally got a standalone gore fest movie with the puppets by his side, but this wasnt that and I feel it was a bit of wasted potential otherwise it's a decent movie.
Destroy All Humans! (2020)
"Destroy All Humans" Aliens don't like humans.
Destroy All Humans is an amazing game. A fun vibrant game with laughs and enjoyable moments.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this. Destroying humans, cows and buildings, what else can you ask for?
Silent Hill 2 (2001)
"Silent Hill 2" amazing, involving and atmospheric game.
Silent Hill 2, One of the most praised games I've come across. I've never truthfully heard anything bad about it, and now I understand why.
As a kid I always wanted to play the Silent Hill series, especially SH2, so my expectations were beyond high. This game didnt disappoint. It starts off well, with a hook to get you involved. The story is very compelling and only gets better as you progress. The atmosphere is incredible.
This game had me glued to the screen. The story kept unveiling and it had my brain ticking and surprising me more and more. I was surprised as I was thinking that the element of "scare factor" would be very outdated but found myself in situations where my heart jumped out of my chest, dropped to the floor and at some points I was even panicking "RUN COME ON RUN!". In terms of camera angles and movement I think the odd clunkiness here and there adds to the fear factor and suspense.
This game definitely met my expectations and is more than worth your time.
