Bar Rescue: A Perla in the Rough (2024)
Don't phone it in Jon
I get that Jon has lots of things going on, but Bar Rescue will need its OWN rescue if he continues to farm it out to his Vegas friends. The reason we watch it and enjoy it is because of Jon. Take your own advice, decide what your priorities are and get your head in the game or move on. Maybe his usual bartender/chef experts could take more of a lead role, but these new faces we've never seen before just aren't filling Jon's shoes. And then the "call" with Jon in this episode is so obviously completely fake. This owner needed a good Jon throwdown and the new guy just missed the mark completely. If this continues, viewers won't be back.
All Rise: The Perils of the Plea (2020)
Why couldn't she just set aside the verdict??
I don't understand why she couldn't just let the jury come back and then set aside the verdict if it had been guilty. Then this issue would have been moot. This had nothing to do with Lola's fear that they'd come back guilty. Everyone's blaming her but both attorneys agreed to a plea deal....this should be on all of them. And just use masks with clear inserts already. This on again off again some with some without is just ridiculous by this point. On another topic, since when did Mark and Amy develop such green thumbs? Their new place is overflowing with plants?? Two busy attorneys somehow have time to tend to them???
Chicago Fire: Keep You Safe (2022)
We're not stupid, you know...
Javi is learning English but that's not how people learning a new language talk. Just putting big pauses in between words is dumb. Put a bit more effort into his role/script, please, writers.....
Chicago Med (2015)
This used to be a good show but...
It's all become the same old same old. Someone comes in to ED, they don't want dr's recommended treatment, dr's force it on them, treatment makes things better. The end. Please come up with new ideas!!!
And is it just me or do they have a male doctor tag team with every female doctor? Dr Manning NEVER had a patient by herself, seems like they're repeating that now with the blond replacements....
Grey's Anatomy: Road Trippin' (2022)
Guess the writers are on a road trip too
I was so hopeful GA was finally back on track when everything happened with Owen and Teddy and the car accident...but clearly, I was wrong. Can't think of anything more to write? Oh, let's do a song in the middle of the episode. That will replace 5 or 6 pages of script we have to write. Zola and Meredith start talking about MN but no in depth conversation about it....hello? Both are home all day...why not explore THAT more?!?! Instead, you think we want to see someone looking for someone else all day? Hunt covering for Bailey? A fruit basket? How exciting. This is supposed to be riveting television???? Nope.
The Resident (2018)
What happened to The Resident??
This show used to be good. Interesting storylines, not everyone was a miracle worker, pitfalls of healthcare system, etc. Maybe some unrealistic stories, but still interesting. Now it's just become another medical drama that's not even GOOD. Superficial stories, ridiculous plots and time jumping after Nic's departure. This one has jumped the shark.
9-1-1: Lone Star (2020)
Trying too hard
I wanted to like this, I really did. But it's just bad all around. Rob Lowe has done SO much better in other things (west wing....), Liv Tyler has done better. I feel bad for both of them...Fake all the way around. Bad writing, bad acting, bad scenarios, bad fake tornadoes, bad characters. I really enjoy the original but def not this one.
