I get it...but I don't but I do.
2 March 2024
I get the whole metaphor and everything. It could have flowed a bit better but it wasn't horrible. It was confusing at times and I think I ruined it by watching the "making of" documentary first. But I honestly didn't see it as a vanity/ego trip like some of the other reviews. I really think she was just trying to explain what can only be summed up by the great RuPaul "If you can't love yourself, how the h**l you gonna love somebody else." And that obvi true love and magic are real, but you can't rush them. I also feel if this was an actual musical movie with a plot and character backstories and all that it would have gotten better reviews. But as an artistic expression it was definitely interesting to watch.

Horrible.
30 April 2023
If you read the books and enjoyed them. DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIES. They barely follow the books, the movies stories/plots are horrible and choppy and weird...and they changed the oddest details. No spoilers, I'll let you find out for yourself if you are strong enough to endure these...terrible movies. These movies literally hurt my feelings, but they did make me want to re-read the entire series again for the millionth time.

Sidenote my review has zero to do with the actors or the acting. Some of the lines were cringe worthy but all in all they did their jobs.

Good Story, poorly executed
16 January 2022
This movie could have been great. They had a fantastic cast...I mean come on Kingsley, Tucci and Cavill...but it lacked depth...you didn't fully get all the info you needed to make you really care about the characters. That being said, I was on the edge of my seat after about 45 mins in until the very end.

Fantastic

I don't know why most people hate this movie so much. Sure it's cheesy and everyone is definitely Canadian...But it makes more sense than the first one and the soundtrack is the best. This movie is like reliving my childhood every single time I watch it, it was one of my moms favorites, so I rated it a 10 for nostalgia, soundtrack and awesomeness. Also the character of Rick Diesel sucks, not the actor, just the character. Eddie Lives!!!

Awful

Everyone in this movie is terrible. They are all terrible people. The only genuine one is the beauty queen sister. This movie does send all the wrong messages to the audiences its aimed at and seriously homegirl is just tall...shes rich or at least not poor, pretty, blonde and tall.

Not Bad

Warning: Spoilers
This was a typical horror movie to me. I've seen worse and I've seen better. But there was some fantastic acting in this, I mean for real. Except for Johnny Depps character he was a bit much. But Justin Long and Michael Parks...wow...just freaking wow. Amazingly believable as their characters. My favorite part was when "Howard" was convincing Wallace he was bitten by a spider. Hilarious and terrifying.

This movie was like watching a long episode of Supernatural but without the hot guys.

For the most part I enjoyed this movie. It was a slow starter. I loved Harold! But honestly through out the whole movie I was waiting for Sam and Dean to come rescue everyone. I did get scared a few times and grossed out a few times and the monsters were beautifully done.

Amazing job by all actors involved especially Efron
23 August 2019
The acting in this moving was phenomenal. I can't even watch it because Efron as Ted Bundy just makes my skin crawl. Bravo on this movie for not glamorizing serial killers, but actually showing how people can be deceived by them. My only problem was, this movie was slow and boring at times...I lost interest at points along the way.

I love this show, but...
9 February 2019
I absolutely love Arrow. But I feel like the writers are letting the cast get buried under unnecessary and/or lame storylines. But I refuse to give up on it. I think season 7 is going to help bring back the Arrow we know and love. I just want to give a shout out to prison Oliver, he is definitely my favorite Oliver by far.

So Bad it's Good
28 September 2018
I love this movie. It's so terrible and cheesy that it crosses back over to good. All of the over/bad acting just adds to the film's charm. I feel that the actors just had a helluva time making this movie. I thought Edward Furlong was excellent at his version of the Crow. Brandon Lee will always be the Original and best Crow thus far, but come on the first movie was super violent and cheesy too. So stop hating and just sit back and enjoy the terrible greatness that is Wicked Prayer.
