... and i got bored. I did not even watch it very actively but listended most of the time. I just didn't care about the characters. And since there is nothing going on besides seeing 1 robot every now and some people laying about, so i just quit ... Lots of potential wasted.

And now the comment system wants me to strech this review to at least 600 charakters, which is about 230 more to go, so bare with me as this will get as boring as the 7 episodes i watched :P

No, seriously. Listen to the audioversion. That at least gives you some catch music to listen to instead of some peoples misserables lives you just dont care about ...

The Predator (2018)

A decent action film, but ...

... don't expect anything big about this.

Especially concerning the main lore of the film and the end, it breaks with all it's predecessors even harder than both "pred vs alien" films did.

That said, the film is a turning point for this franchise, sadly not a good one.

Just spare your time and watch some good anime. Luckily Netflix still has some. This is not one of those. It is so bad i even spare my time writing about it. No clue who wrote the script, it's just embarrasing.

I stopped watching the series 5min after the 3 episode. If i am very very bored i might continue, but i seriously doubt that.

Snowpiercer (2020–2024)

I just started watching Ep 2 of Season 1 and i can already tell you where the journey is going, something I like to call the "Lost" Effect. Because Lost, the series, had the same issues: starting an intriguing plot without giving the viewers any real answers while disctracting them with drama. The Walking Dead did the same, so i stopped watching that also. But i am being unfair towards the plot. All the answers are given right at the start of the first episode, leaving us with "drama". Poor and rich in a train traveling the globe. Limited ressources, limited space, lots of drama. I am not asking why the train can get going for years and years, i am not asking how it can go around the globe on rails over the oceans, i am not bragging about acters since it would be unfair to do so after just one episode, i am just wondering why people finde this series interesting. So with that i am giving the series a 5 / 10, which is in fact pretty bad considering "viewable" starts at 7, good at 7,5 and exceptional at 8 to 8,5 (EDITed typos)

Falling skies is not really bad. The CGIs are getting better and more extensive in the course of the seasons, but unfortunately you can not feel this development anywhere else. It is incomprehensible to me how this series made it through its 5 seasons accordingly. But if you want to listen to something or not pay to much attention, you might feel entertained. Book of Swords (1996)

Aimless plot, bad choreography, no fantasy

To make it short and quick: The movie boring, the fighting is merely more about screaming like Bruce lee than real fighting action. The actors do have a lots of good moves, but the choreography is just bad. There is a fight scene in which a oil lantern is in front of the action and you cannot see the whole fight scene, because it covers like 1 /3 of the picture.

I don't know why this is called a fantasy movie, its more like a ninja movie with some bad special effects. It could also be some gangster action movie with some ninjas. Don't pay for this movie, you'll regret it.

Underworld: Evolution (2006)

No worthy successor of Underworld

Let me get this straight. The only thing this film has in common with the first one is its cast wearing hot (leather) to none clothes an some shooting and fighting scenes.

The Story is completely new and has nothing to do with the plots drawn in the first film. When its comes down to sum the plot i don't have to do much: Big ugly powerful villain wants to free big ugly raging beast and has to be stopped.

So the main characters rush form one fighting scene to the other.

I was very disappointed because the makers Underworld Evolution did not use its full potential. If you are looking for some vampire and werewolf stories you will get mindless splatter and shooting and even those will get boring in the end.

If you are into special effects and fighting you might like the film, but do not expect it to be a worthy successor of Underworld.
