One Piece (2023)
There's so much to enjoy
I've been watching/reading One Piece since the Kaizoku-Fansubs days, circa 2001. I'm sure a lot of people in here have as well, and aside from some of the Power Ranger-y fight scenes, I'm absolutely happy with how this turned out.
They really captured the essence of One Piece without trying too hard to make a 1:1 adaptation. In some areas they really thrived, other parts felt a bit lacking, but overall I really hope this gets to keep going and you can really tell Oda had his hand in the creation of this.
Zoro and Buggy absolutely stole the show for me, and somehow Helmeppo and Koby were the closest characters to the anime and I really loved them on screen.
OG fans, don't be too hard on it. Sure it has its cheesy parts but we all expect that. Try to enjoy it for what it is, which is an adaptation--not an exact replica but with real people.
Can't wait to watch it again but with the original Japanese voice actors.
A Bad Moms Christmas (2017)
I just wanna raise the ratings a bit with a 10
Wouldn't actually give it a 10, I just think it's hilariously wack that some people would give this obviously stupid movie so much crap.
Did you go into it thinking it would be on par with Avengers or The Dark Knight or something? Why on earth would you be so overly critical of a movie staring Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell and Christine Baranski?
Learn how to laugh at ridiculousness and stop being downers y'all
The Midnight Gospel (2020)
Hooked after the first episode
My interpretation is it's like the Joe Rogan Podcast set in the chaotic and violent world of Super Jail with other universe elements and stammering commentary of Rick and Morty with the animation and deep woke interludes of Adventure Time.
In my opinion it's what should be happening more in real life, in the real world. We should be more interested in having conversations with people, whether comfortable or uncomfortable, rather than just focus on the ideals of everything else. Communication is the only beginning route to understanding the people, cultures, and would around us. I'm happy this show takes setting in this concept.

Anon (2018)
Lot of holes, first-person style cinematography weak
I hate being a stickler for small details, but the film lost me early on with the really poorly done first-person shots through the eyes of the many characters. As if every movement a person made was slow and smooth.
Every. Single. Character.
Moved as though they were on an escalator. Head movements showed zero stutter. No bobbing movements as the people walked or ran or even took the simplest of steps. Even people turning their heads to look at things were slow and perfectly smooth, almost everybody has the same exact slowness of movement. Super strange to watch. It really took any hint of realism out of the movie from the very beginning.
Acting was great, shots were cool, color scheme and overall tone were pretty good. It was enjoyable in a lot of ways, but really cheesy within the lines.
What Happened to Monday (2017)
Came here to see the haters
First time ever leaving a rating, first time even caring. Just bored and wanted to see why there are so many low ones because I highly enjoyed it. Sad that so many can't get the fact that it's a movie. It's not real, can't see it ever becoming real.
The acting terrible? I could understand a few were maybe a little cheesy, but I don't see how you can't just accept that the characters were possibly wanted to be portrayed as a bit overly cocky and confident. Once you see what takes place in the film I feel like it's quite understandable why they're that way. It's a futuristic distopia flick, expect a strong presence from everybody!
Some people commented things like "cliche" or "unconvincing" but I say stop taking it so seriously! Watch it and really ask yourself, do you want it to be?
I loved the story, the action, the different subtleties from the siblings, the twists, the action, the brutality. There are definitely a few scenes stilll playing in my head. Conspiracy theories coming to life. I'm no obsessive conspiracy junkie, it's really just fascinating sometimes though aren't they?
Just watch it, you've already watched everything else on Netflix and you clearly don't care about your time enough to say it was a waste of it lets be real. I was going to say "watch it with an open mind" but I decided to explain it here that it's really just enjoyable for anybody who likes action sci-fi stories with a lot of action and suspense.
I'm giving it a 10 to boost it .0001274773207shfjekl2937% but I really don't think 10 is fair in any case, neither is 1. So you'll never know what I actually rate it so just see for yourself.
