Highlights well how the "powers that be" in a city, and greedy companies, get to make decisions that affect citizens without public input. Was so disappointed when the votes were being counted and Tonya was rejected I was rooting for her. I had no idea anyone was trying to bring the park back until seeing this. The doc reminded me of the injustice done to Astroworld in my state i'm glad it was mentioned.
The drone film work, interviews, and music score brought it up from "just another YouTube doc" to a higher level.
Trailing shot of Patricia walking through the park conveyed her emotion about the park well was a nice touch.
Historical footage brought me back to 2005 truly a devastating storm. Would've liked to have heard a bit more about the levee situation and investigation since it was such a huge factor in the loss of life as well as the park.
Was already familiar with Jake's work so I knew it would be good. Can tell how much work went into this.
Excellent movie poster have been excited to see this since it was first posted.
The only small parts that irked me were one scene when the background music seemed to compete with the narration, and that great "flashlight walk" drone shot seemed blurry? I don't know if that was intentional for effect but it didn't seem so, imo.
Was not expecting an "exploration" video of this park, but hoped for a few more shots of the current state than what was shown.
Promotion of where to watch could've been improved. Movie site was very clear about platforms to watch on but people were still constantly asking on social media and once it was out there seemed to be confusion from people internationally who are still waiting to view it.
