Perfect Harmony (2022)
I love it when a Hallmark movie surprises me
I skipped this movie a few times. I'm not sure why. I'm sorry it took so long for me to come around.
It's a story we have seen before. Your best friends are in a relationship and really want each of their best friends to finally get along. Different backgrounds, different family life, different life experiences, age difference ...yada yada yada
I think Jack and Barrett's chemistry was off the charts even when they were bickering.
Jack Chandler gave me strong Jimmy Buffet vibes. RIP Jimmy.
I loved the fact that the actors playing Simon and Naomi are married in real life. I love the fact that Jack and Teddy are played by real life father and son.
Do yourself a favor and watch it.
Can You Keep a Secret? (2019)
Let's be honest
Let's be honest. I watched this movie for Tyler Hoechlin. Not the worst I have seen. I kept thinking "This guy, who started his own company would never fall for this mess of a girl." She always talked about how hot he was. She claims to be in love with him but in her next breath doesn't know anything about him. I can understand him not wanting to let people in but I think we needed a little more of his back story and more conversation between them to really see this "relationship" have potential. I have the book. I intend to read it. I really do. I hope I get more of what I'm looking for there. But Hoechlin is super easy to look at.
A Match Made at Christmas (2021)
Just no
The premise was cute ... the great aunt just knows when a couple is right for each other. Cute right? Then he shows up. NOPE. Run for the hills girlfriend. Not one redeemable quality about this guy. Ugh!!!!! Sure relationships aren't always perfect and there are arguments. But this was abusive. There were so many red flags with this guy. I watched to see how much worse it could get. Just NO. I can't even rate this movie.
And how did no one else see that this guy was the worst? Not the "I fell in love with my brothers best friend" story that I want to watch. I'd rather get a root canal. Better luck next time.
