Starts off a masterpiece, ends up a shell of it's former self
19 July 2022
The Sanctuary phase is really beaultifully animated, amazing soundtrack, story, voice acting, all top notch. Then comes the Hell and Elysium phase with it's almost mute soundtrack, static animation and terrible effects and leaves the viewer with a bitter taste. Shingo Araki was dearly missed in this time, and still is.

Resident Evil fans really can't catch a break
19 July 2022
You would hope that they learn from having almost 20 years of worthless trash with the title "Resident Evil" out there, specially Welcome To Raccoon City (-_-) but no, they double down on it.

The Flash: Mixed Signals (2017)
Season 4, Episode 2
4/10
4 seasons and people are still telling Barry what to do
18 October 2017
This episode showed how Barry (and the show) evolved absolutely NOTHING after almost 4 years of being The Flash. Barry who is supposedly one of the smartest characters is still getting his ass kicked by random metas and STILL needs the motivational speech to do something, but now it's worse, because it's Iris who inexplicably became smart enough to tell everyone what to do at every situation, is leading the team.

I have to admit i really like a funny/happy Barry, but it's just not working with Iris contradicting everything he does, there is a funny moment, and then it's gone, it's like she's the most important human being in the world, judging Barry for going to the speed force: "You left me!", no, ma'am, he just saved you, your family, the city and the world possibly, so you should be grateful that he's back and even more grateful because he's not down and depressed like last season. And i don't even want to talk about that couple's therapy scene because, oh god, it was awful.

Don't get me started on Cisco putting tech upgrades at the suit, which is an obvious rip-off from Iron Man, and i thought it was RIDICULOUS! I know it was because of the script, because the villain conveniently controls technology, but WHY THE HELL DOES THE FLASH NEEDS LASER BEAMS? WHO CAME UP WITH THESE IDEAS?!

Also what's up with Wally being useless, not being able to dodge that laser beam and doing nothing against Kilg%re? Is this because he is leaving the show? Wow, they really made him look bad this week. Is this because they can't afford having 2 speedsters and the budget is too expensive? Who knows.

The show is going downhill, but i might give it a chance and tune in for more 1 or 2 episodes, because if the writers are doing what i think they are doing, we may have a Felicity 2.0 on our way and the nightmare of Arrow season 4 will repeat all over again.

The Flash: The Flash Reborn (2017)
Season 4, Episode 1
5/10
Flash continuing to disappoint
11 October 2017
The thing i most hated in this episode is the fact that Iris is now the leader of Team Flash, isn't she supposed to be a reporter? Didn't she love journalism? Does anybody just throw their dream job in the trash like that? In season 3 all she did was sit at S.T.A.R labs and cry all day now all of a sudden she's leading the team and reacting with a judgmental look on her face about anything that happens around, i know they used the 6 month time skip to explain the changes (they do that every season) but i still don't get it, Cisco is the one who should be in charge and not in the field as he know how all the tech works there. And as i feared she is becoming (or already did become) just like Felicity on Arrow: she was really a good character on seasons 1 and 2, then on the 3rd season she starts to get really annoying and on the 4th season she is this nightmare that questions everyones choices and decisions, being a whiny bitch about everything and gets more screen time than the protagonist, i really didn't like the direction they took with the character and i think it's gonna destroy the show.

Now about how everything gets resolved in the next episode: this is one of the main issues with the show, along with the pep talks in the hallway, it's like the characters don't go through anything at all and the next day, everything is fine. It started in season 3: Flashpoint happened, it's resolved the next episode, Wally is trapped in the speed force, the next episode, he's back and now in season 4: Caitlin leaves Team Flash for the 2nd time to inexplicably work as a bartender, and for the 2nd time she is back by the end of the episode, Barry is back but crazy and again inexplicably gets back to normal when Iris is in danger and no explanation to those signs he was writing (yet?), also i hated when Barry sped out crazy hyper fast in STAR labs and Caitlin simply shot him with a cold gun like he wasn't even moving. It was a bad episode for a premiere.

___________________________________________

+ New suit + Crazy Barry (shame it didn't last longer) + Super fast Barry + The Thinker at the end + Wally speaking Japanese ___________________________________________

  • Iris as leader of Team Flash - Iris being a bitch about everything - Caitlin's arc and coming back to the team AGAIN - Wally didn't really evolve in 6 months - All the problems from season 3 finale resolved in this episode - Unnecessary pep talks

The Flash: Finish Line (2017)
Season 3, Episode 23
3/10
Not even close to Season 1 and 2 finales
24 May 2017
The episode already had a bad start with H.R dying instead of Iris, it really freaked me out that they spent like 15 episodes trying (and failing miserably) to save Iris but in the end H.R with his pen (facial transmogrification device) was the one who really did something, and despite she knowing H.R for only 3 episodes i felt bad for Tracy.

They turned Savitar from a badass to a dumbass in this episode: why the hell would he go and try to fix things with Team Flash? The guy that did many terrible things and terrorized people for years suddenly has a change of heart? And why would he of all people trust Cisco to alter the Speed Force Bazooka? Oh writers...

Barry and the other Flashes fighting Savitar was pretty epic but when Iris shoots him in the back...Oh man, it was dumb, cringe worthy and destroyed the whole climate of the battle, how the hell did she even hit him, like he moves at hundreds of miles per hour, he's the God of Speed!!! I'M SO MAD,AND FURIOUS WHY WOULD ANYBODY TURN THEIR BACK ON THE MAIN VILLAIN LIKE THAT, RESTRAIN HIM WITH POWER-DAMPENING CUFFS OR SOMETHING OMG!!! THIS SHOW MAKES NO F***** SENSE AT ALL.

This season was just meh, and the whole "Saving Iris" theme just didn't work for me, the characters really made selfish and questionable choices (especially Barry) for one person's sake, and i know that she's the love of his life, blah blah blah cut the drama crap, but what about the people of the city who need help? The show just totally lost it's focus...It was bad.

  • H.R's dies to save Iris

  • Trying to convince Savitar to get back to the good side

  • Julian mysteriously coming up with a cure for Caitlin

  • No explanation to the Philosopher's Stone

  • Savitar's decisions/goals

  • Iris and Barry's scenes (zzz...)

  • Iris kills Savitar (Awful, just awful)

  • Barry having to take Savitar's place in the Speed Force

+ Grant Gustin's acting as Savitar

+ Jay's return

+ Final battle

+ Earth 2 Wells staying to help Team Flash

3.5/10 - Average episode and very, VERY disappointing finale
