Madame Web (2024)
Green Lantern Bad
I'm honestly shocked by how bad this movie is...........shocked.
Horrible acting by literally every person in the film. So bad that it sounded like the movie was dubbed over.
Boring story and terribly written.
It blows my mind this passed through so many hands before being released and ended up so awful.
By far the worst Sony/Marvel movie made to date.
The vast majority is absolutely correct on this one and honestly a 3.9/10 is too high a rating for this film.
Not sure how well it did in box office but doubtful we'll see anything more from these characters.
It's on Netflix and I still paid way too much to see this..........paid with my time.
The Batman: Deleted Arkham Scene (2022)
On par with the Riddler choice
I know this is only a 5 minute deleted scene, but I fell in love with Barry Keoghan as I watched. He seems like he'd be a great Joker just like Paul Dano was a great Riddler. I could tell (even tho it was blurry) by the facial expressions and movements that he really could pull it off. I waited and waited for the most important part of being joker and held my breath hoping he'd nail it...the laugh. The end came and we are shown his smile which was fantastic (great makeup) and then Barry laughed. I loved it. The cackling, steadiness, volume, pitch...just loved it all. I'd very much like to see him as joker more in the future.
Mr. Nobody (2009)
Fantastic
This movie is incredibly well done. The artistic metaphors and clever storyline will keep you hooked if you like and appreciate these kind of movies - the kind that make you think beyond your normal realm of thought.
Great acting from Jared Leto, yet again. No surprise here.
I personally LOVED this movie. It jumped out to me in many ways and challenged the way I perceive things. It's absolutely wonderful when a movie is able to speak to you in this way. It becomes more then just a movie, it becomes an experience. That is what Mr. Nobody was for me - an absolutely brilliant experience.
Bravo
