Brilliantly funny (while being truthful) wrap-up of 2020
15 January 2021
Skillfull compilation of 2020 events - well-written, well-acted/delivered, sarcastic & delightful in many ways. Lots of f-bombs (full disclosure). Well worth watching.

Masterful talents Ron Howard & Jim Carrey

What's not to like? Cast is excellent!! New ideas (in 2000) fit perfectly into the original tale. Sets/Special effects/CGI are crafted so well without overwhelming. Outstanding & an annual traditional.

Really enjoyed this -even 20 years later!

Well-written, well-acted. Beautiful location/ scenery. Musical score is outstanding - perfect period/era fit & exquisite performances. A worthwhile and entertaining movie. Drew B, Angelica H. and cast including some soon-to-be-famous colleagues never seem trite or campy, but very authentic. Comic moments & surprising twists on the traditional Cinderella story make this a gem.

Great quotable lines throughout

We absolutely love this light-hearted comedy. Anyone trying to take it seriously isn't getting it. Ford & Heche are a brilliant combination - delivering lines born of outstanding writing. Fun quotable one-liners throughput. Whenever we need cheering up & a quick escape from life this is the go-to!!

One of my all-time favorite movies!!
15 June 2017
I have probably watched this movie 30 times and never get tired of its message, the incredible acting, and the humor/emotion. Personally, I RARELY want to watch a movie more than once. This is a pick-me up, feel-good movie. The pacing is perfect. There are little surprises at every turn. You will be cheering. Little nods to famous scenes - as in "To Kill a Mockingbird" with the courtroom scene. It's just absolutely wonderful. My favorite actors in this movie are Jeff Daniels and Joan Allen for their scene together, but all do a fantastic job! Worth it. Watch it.
