Samaritan (2022)
Pretty Good Movie
I'll watch it a second time it was good
A bit too Stallone-ish but a great cast good story and the gritty backdrop was great
Not perfect but really good.
X (2022)
It's a Good Watch
Good acting performances and well executed production. Important character scenes took their time. The story surprises and twists pretty well I really enjoyed it.
Better Call Saul (2015)
Very good but very padded with filler
Yes I get the whole slow burn let the scenes breathe thing but this was way too padded they turned 3 seasons into 6 and then flashed forward through the part of the story I wanted to see where he went from Kim to Walter.
I Am Groot (2022)
It's the highlight of phase 4
A bit of harmless fun and somehow the best thing in phase four !
Well at least it didn't advertise being about groot and end up about some female character bait and switch style like everything else in phase four.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Goofy and Stupid Is An Understatement
Talk about mixed tone ! The villain is Gorr the God Butcher but the whole thing is just a silly comedic effort.
This could have been a great instalment in the franchise but between the ridiculously mixed tone and goofiness it's just an epic fail
And it's an epic fail even before the "agenda" and "the message" have jammed in at every woke opportunity
Marvel is dying fast and this movie is the proof.
Tiger King (2020)
Gotta Love It
Carole and Howard look like some creepy cannibal couple you'd see in the Walking Dead.
Did Joe get set up ? Probably
Did Carole kill Don ? Probably
Is basically everyone in this show a bad person? Absolutely
But well worth a watch.
An American Crime (2007)
Unbelievable But True
Incredibly disturbing but brilliant movie. The most disturbing thing is how true it is and the notably horrific things they didn't have in the movie. Really worth watching.
Enemy (2013)
So Bad That It Must Be Art 🖼
It looks promising for about the first hour or so but then takes a pointlessly odd turn and has the most ridiculous ending you'll ever see
I think they just couldn't come up with an ending so it had to be giant spiders for some reason.
V/H/S/94 (2021)
I watched maybe 10 minutes
It's garbage
Other reviews give it a 10 and somehow say it's decent
Should something that's only decent be rated 10/10
Save your time for something done well.
Black and Blue (2019)
Netflix going woke and going broke
More generic woke rubbish jus one more take about how bad we should all feel for things we didn't do.
More characters needed so I'm rambling for a minute.
The King's Man (2021)
More Woke Lecturing
Yes yes yes we should all be so ashamed of things we didn't do a hundred years before we were born
Not a bad movie really but the constant woke virtue signalling always draws a 1/10.
Archive 81 (2022)
They Tried To Do Too Much
And failed at virtually all of it
It's a mess and the lead male character is impossible to care about
It's a sloppy mess, there's way too much filler and by the time you get to the ending you just don't care
Should have been severely edited down to about 4 episodes.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
It's like a midday TV movie version of the matrix
Just a totally unnecessary sequel that comes off like it was made for TV with a low budget.
It reeks of streaming content for the sake of content.
Doogie was a poor casting choice compared to the architect and Smith was pointless.
Ultra disappointed!!
The Last Duel (2021)
A Story Not Worth Telling
Of all the true stories in history you could tell why this one ?
If you're pouring a huge amount of money and a star filled cast and big name director into a project why a story that isn't worth it.
Two guys no one's ever heard of or cared about in medieval France had a duel, big deal !!
Some middle management aristocrats had a pseudo political rivalry that had zero impact on history, who cares.
So many more historically crucial stories could have told with that cast, crew and budget.
So many stories that wouldn't have been boring as f&@k.
Dune (2021)
It'll be the flop of the decade
Some things don't work well when taken from books
Things like vibrating colourful shields that ruin the fight scenes
Things like a futuristic galaxy with interstellar travel but all the fighting is done with swords
It's all so complicated which by itself isn't bad but it's complicated without a point or a pay off
The book was written in 1965 they really should have modernised the story to make it less of a weird soup of crap
There will be no sequels
But yes the big visuals look nice.
Hightown (2020)
Just more box ticking rubbish
It seems the latest philosophy of "content" is that if you get a multi racial cast with lots of LGTQBJT then you don't need a good story or good characters.
Last Man Down (2021)
Just So Terrible
It's like a very bad 80's action movie
Imagine it's 1983 and every vaguely credible action star turned it down cause it's obviously going to be a complete disaster. But maybe Adolph Lundgren accepts it
No budget
No dialogue
No real characters
Pointless body count
Pointless explosions
Pointless ending
The girl playing Maria is beautiful it gets one point for that.
The Fate of the Furious (2017)
The Sharknado of Car Movies
Why are people still watching this rubbish
The first movie wasn't any good
Dom Dom it's about family
No it's about money
I wonder if Vin Diesel will ever look back and wonder why he spent decades on this crap.
Chronicle of a Serial Killer (2020)
You know in 10 mins and turn it off
Horrible just horrible.
The other reviews say bad acting and I'll add bad writing and bad lighting to that
It's a joke this has any high ratings.
What If...?: What If... Thor Were an Only Child? (2021)
Ruining the MCU
Just silly woke Disney cartoons and they're ruining the legacy of everything in the first phases of the MCU.
What If...?: What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord? (2021)
Well that was terrible
Watching the Marvel opening montage used to be the best thing, you were excited for what you were about to see. And then suddenly it became the opening for a woke scolding Scooby Doo cartoon.
F9 (2021)
I can't believe this is still going
Stop just stop it's become so ridiculous it's almost Sharknado.
Don't Let Go (2019)
Great movie
What a great surprise this movie was. On Netflix thought oh yeah I'll see how it goes and it was a really good riveting watch. Highly recommend.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
Just Fantastic
The one truly great X Men movie.
Both the old and new franchises executed extremely well. Loved it.
The Suicide Squad (2021)
NOT worth the wait
The only good bits are in the trailers
Suicide Squad doesn't work in live action it's a comic cartoon premise with goofy OTT characters that just don't work well in live action.
