Attack on Titan hits different!
11 January 2021
I'm so happy if i mention that people are hating on such trivial things like the still brillant soundtrack, in case that the whole story is to good to find space to hate anything else! Just realise that Attack on Titan is one of the GOAT anime out there!

One of the best series out there!
30 June 2020
Dark is without a doubt one, if not the greatest series I've ever witnessed! After the absolutely horrific series finale of Dexter, Game of Thrones or Lost, my biggest worry was that the creators destroy the finale so I have issues to rewatch the serie ever again like in other series. Thank you Dark for a life time series were I can watch back with a big smile on my face also 33 years in the future!

Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Season 8, Episode 5
5/10
The critics are unfortunately right
14 May 2019
From the beginning it was clear that the immense hype surrounding Season 8 would split viewers' opinions. Each individual has different expectations and a personal desire end. It can not be right for everyone. Nevertheless, people arrange themselves with an end that does not live up to their expectations, when the story is told in a homogeneous way, that it is traceable and round. Unfortunately, the 8th season does not succeed. Told too fast. Storylines are lovingly brought to an end. The characters are set and strange. No real emotions like in earlier Seasons with the book template by R.R. Martin.

The development of the 4th and 5th episode raises some questions for me and is peppered with logic holes. As hard as it sounds, but Game of Thrones has managed that I can not imagine watching the show again, thinking of the disappointing ending. It's just the case that the finale of a series decides on the quality level, whether it is really worth seeing repeatedly or not (seeing Dexter). Game of Thrones does not do that with recent episodes. Because I know the end of the series, this idea persists even after the last episode.

What a season finale! Congrats to HBO!

I was absolutely flashed! This finale has really exceeded all my expectations of the second season! Nobody really predicted that confusing ending. I'm shocked and excited at the same time. I can't think of any other series that sets such standards in terms of storytelling and profundity. I hope this series will grow bigger and bigger with time! Please HBO! Let the directors tell their complete story to the end! I hope there are 5 to 7 seasons at the end!

Haters take over IMDb!
18 June 2018
If I have to read 1/10 comments before broadcasting an episode, I'm really sorry for IMBd. They have lost their respected database to people who just want to foster hatred. Get that under control!

Critics should only rate at the end!

Incredibly emotional and profound episode! My heart is bleeding when I have to read the sometimes bad reviews. I do not know why these people are following the show at all if they can't handle it. I hope Westworld gets at least 3 more seasons. Westworld is a matter of the heart - a heart shaped box! A true masterpiece! The last two episodes will take it on a new level!

Season 2 turns up!
4 June 2018
The unanswered questions of the first episodes unfold gradually. Season 2 exceeds even my highest expectations. I can not wait to see the last three episodes. In my opinion, Westworld is laying the next foundation for becoming one of the best TV series of all time. In my opinion, Westworld sets a milestone with Season 1 and 2 so far.

In the clutches of Game of Thrones!
21 May 2018
To begin with: I've been reading Westworld reviews for a very long time now, disappointed with the lack of recognition! I think the biggest issue with this series are the far to high expectations. HBO wants Westworld to inherit the legacy of Game of Thrones, a phenomenon that thrills people of all ages around the world. It is obvious that HBO powerfully touches the billboards to portray Westworld as their "new GOT".

The comments on each episode are often very mixed and unbalanced: This is partly because of the people who can do nothing with the profound content of the series, to those whose immense expectations are not fulfilled and last but not least those people who are inevitably brought to the screens by HBO's drum. Looking at smaller series productions such as "Penny Dreadful" which consists of a manageable fanbase. It can be seen that the ratings of the individual episodes are more positive.

I call Westworld as the multicultural series of various fan bases: Westworld is an incredibly thought-out and complex series that is touching, deep and thoughtful on a moral, ethical and philosophical level. In terms of content, Westworld is not made for the bright mass like Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones embodies uncomplicated popcorn cinema for all ages.

CONCLUSION: Westworld is increasingly facing a major problem due to the great expectations of HBO to establish the western series as the successor to Game of Thrones at the marketplace. They have created strong critics with their own fanbase. I absolutely love both series and i hope that Westworld will only be as successful as Game of Thrones!

Greetings from Bavaria
