Moonfall (2022)
Legitimately, and I am dead serious, the WORST big budget film of all time.
This film is easily among the worst written, most ludicrously scientifically inaccurate, worst acted, most cringe-worthy film I have ever personally witnessed.
Anyone and everyone who was involved with this film must have failed middle school science class and has no ability to use logic or reason.
The acting, aside from John Bradley, was F-tier atrocious. And somehow, the script was even worse.
I genuinely tried to suspend my disbelief and enjoy it as a Sci-fi disaster movie, but I swear to you, if you are even remotely interested in science, you will be scoffing at the screen within 10 minutes.
Yes, it's that bad.
Roland Emmerich MUST never be allowed to direct another film again.
The Captain (2022)
Boring and tiresome.
There's only enough interesting content about Derek Jeter for one, maybe two episodes. They instead fill the rest of the time just showing like a thousand photos of Derek Jeter. Once you've seen a dozen, you've seen them all. This documentary does NOT help the stereotype of baseball being boring, because this was too boring to even just have on in the background while I'm on the internet.
Keep Breathing (2022)
One part was so bad I had to turn it off there.
And after reading the reviews, I'm very glad I did. There is a near-zero chance that someone like the lead male's character wouldn't be able to swim. That scene was just so ludicrous. "I can't swim, I can't swim" he whines as he crawls in a foot of water. So cringe inducing, I paused it and looked up reviews. Thank you IMDB for saving my time.
I'm rating it a 5 just to be fair since I didn't even make it past the 1st episode.
Don't Look Up (2021)
One of the worst films I've ever seen.
Could only stomach about 30 minutes total, I had to skip the terrible parts which were most of it. Just a ludicrous, politically-charged but backwards, loop-stained film I wouldn't recommend to literally anyone. It's not even worth putting actual effort into the writing of this review.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Amazing at times.
I went into this film with very high expectations. The film delivered plenty at many times, but others I found myself quite bored.
I was tempted to write out all the issues I had that took away the 3 stars, but this film is really just a fun, happy thing that everyone loves and isn't arguing about, and how often do we get that?
So I'll just say it's worth the watch and leave it at that.
Young, Stalked, and Pregnant (2020)
Terrible story, even worse girlfriend.
There are many problems with this movie, the worst being how the lead character is a terrible girlfriend, yet it's abundantly clear that's NOT what the writers intended, she is portrayed as the protagonist. Yet, she completely disregards her wonderful boyfriend when she made the decision to give THEIR baby up for adoption. She doesn't even consider his desires at all, like not at ALL, before she "made up her mind".
And THEN its the boyfriend is made out to be the bad guy! Obviously he is upset. She says "he's so absurd, he's awful" because he wants to be a father... actually, just wants her to let him be a part of the decision. Then the parents act like he is some menace because he snuck into her house to talk to her because she was ignoring him. Do you know how rare the kind of guy like Sam is? An 18 year old guy willing to put his dreams on hold, work whatever necessary, to support his girl and baby? He is incredibly selfless, and the girlfriend is selfish and inconsiderate.
And then there's a scene with a lawyer saying, "It's her body, it's her choice, she has all the rights." Um, what? Abortion wasn't even discussed, not once! So no, after the baby is delivered, it's no longer "her body". That line was very strange, and wrong. Mothers have more rights yes, but Fathers do have rights! And should! The fact that they wanted Sam to have absolutely nothing to do with the child is very disturbing because Sam is a really good guy who really loves her.
One of the worst Lifetime movies I've ever seen. Terrible message, terrible story, terrible characters (except Sam).
They Found Hell (2015)
Winner of the competition for dumbest characters.
Tried to watch this film, the utter stupidity of the characters was too frustrating. You will scream at your tv even if were in a great mood prior to viewing this mental atrocity. Oh and their mythical "hell" is just an abandoned factory with a couple flames here and there. Yes, really.
Hoops (2020)
Ignore ALL the reviews under 5 stars.
The only reason people are giving this show low ratings is because it isn't politically correct enough for overly-sensitive, weak-minded people, and that's part of what makes it great, like a breath of fresh air in our overly sensitive society. The writing is great and if you like Family guy, South Park, and shows like that, you will enjoy this show.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Code Yellow (2019)
Easily the worst episode in AoE history
Was this episode made by consulting a bunch of tweens from an Ariana Grande fan club? I mean what the hell was that absolute rubbish at the end? Horrible. And Sequioa and the Butterfly girl are two of the most obnoxious television characters I've seen in a long time.
Just skip this episode, save yourself.

Killer Ransom (2020)
Beautiful kidnapped girl is the only highlight
All the characters make utterly stupid decisions at various points in the film, and the little brother who goes along with the whole plot is the worst one. Why in the world he was so terrified of his brother who isn't even bigger than him is beyond me. The film did NOT sell that relationship well. It didn't feel realistic. The little brothers friend, sure.. but that's the one believable character.
The plot is very stale and unoriginal, but it is interesting at times, and the kidnapped daughter is naturally gorgeous, so there's that at least.
I'd recommend skipping this one. Just look up Paige Searcy's instagram instead. Better use of your time.
Extraction (2020)
Netflix's best action flick
This is a film worthy of a theatrical release, and one of Netflix's best action flicks. Some the camera work is unique and better than I have ever seen in a realistic fight sequence. You will feel like you a right there in the action. Some of the shots are one take, and clearly took incredible coordination to pull off.
. Hemsworth has shown himself be a superb, top tier action star, and I foresee him in many more to come. He has the emotional and physical acting chops to make every scene believable, and his character is both complex and relatable.
This film is also much more realistic in its gun use, characters actually reload repeatedly, check weapons for bullets, and constantly use cover accurately. Enemies actually take multiple hits and shots to go down, they don't just take one kick to the chest and die like in the majority of other action films.
The plot overall could have some improvements, but it does not take away much from the film. The primary villain needed some more motivating factors, but the film will make you hate him enough to root for anyone who stands against him.
I've seen the vast majority of negative reviews are solely based on the fact that the negative aspects of life in Dhaka might be slightly over emphasized, but doing research on my own, it is not significantly different than reality. So I would recommend disregarding the majority of negative reviews and give this film a watch if you enjoy action films. I guarantee you will be amazed by the action sequences and come away impressed with the film.
Jusqu'au déclin (2020)
Skip this film, read my review instead.
A Survivalist expert spends 40+ years honing skills and building a large, intricate survival complex out in the wilderness with everything imaginable needed to outlive an apocalypse.
Over time, due to desire to share his knowledge, and a bit of loneliness, the Survivalist utilizes satellite internet technology to start talking to the world again. It's then that it began a YouTube channel to teach others his survival skills, believing he will be saving lives in a future he's sure will come.
Eventually, perhaps due to loneliness, the Survivalist decides to invite people to come out and live on his complex so that he can teach them how to survive what he strongly believes is an impending disaster.
While teaching them how to make explosive devices as part of the training program, he warns them of the dangers and teaches them how to avoid accidents.
An accident happens while he is absent, and a one of the visitors is killed.
The group schemes against the Survivalist, planning to blame the accident on him to save themselves, despite him teaching them everything they needed to know to avoid said accident.
If they do this, the Survivalist would lose everything he has built for 40 years due to an accident caused by people he was trying to help. Eventually he is forced into a situation he repeatedly states he despises, that he wants to avoid, and tries repeatedly to avoid, asking his now violent visitors to stand down. They refuse. Social justice doctrine dictates that the man must be the villain, and a certain individual HAS to be the Heroine. And thus plot holes fill the rest of the film to allow for her success.
The truth is, the actual villains in this film are the visitors, especially the intended heroine, who ends up burning down everything the Survivalist built, his life work, and paralyzes him and drives off into the sunset like she is the hero. Rubbish. Blasphemous.
Woke politics infest and deteriorate stories like a disease when they aren't used intelligently. This film becomes more and more devoid of intelligence the longer it drags on, and it is guaranteed to anger you if you are a rational person.
The Call (2013)
SPOILERS. Decent movie, kept my interest until the frustrating ending.
This is a movie to watch when there isn't anything better on. It's a decent triller that will likely keep your interest, though moments will be very frustrating, particularly the ending.
The second most frustrating plot line (or hole) of this film, is how in the world the perp got away with so many kidnappings and murder being so sloppy.
First, and this is going to spoil the film for you, is the ending. The utterly asinine ending.
The two women bound the perpetrator in a chair with duct tape and leave him to die of dehydration and starvation in his rape and torture lair.
Except, the chances of him escaping are likely around 99%.
You see, there was a scene of the man busting open the door prior to his detainment, yet the women are shown locking same door as they leave.
Who in the world think duct tape will hold a desperate man until he dies three to 5 days later? It wouldn't. It wouldn't hold anyone until death, much less a full grown adult male.
So basically, the actual, realistic ending is... the man escapes and returns to get revenge on the girl and 911 call and kills them both, perhaps even taking them back down to his lair and scalping them alive.
They didn't place anything on top of the trap door to secure him from escaping.
They didn't call police, or bar the door with anything.
They just bound him with duct tape to a chair. A psychopathic, torturing, child molesting serial killer, and left him to eventually escape.
Seriously. What on earth.
Anyways, if you can ignore that, then you will probably enjoy this movie. But it's nothing to write home about,
Freaks (2018)
One of the Best Films of the Year
This is one of the most underrated, under appreciated, well-written, unique, captivating, and emotionally gripping films I have seen.
Hunters (2020)
Right-Wingers... you will like this show. Just watch the first 10 minutes, you'll see.
I was hesitant to watch this because I incorrectly believed it would be very SJW, politically correct, white people are bad, kind of nonsense. I've heard it was a "dangerous" show that targets conservatives.
But I challenge any pre-conceived notions I have and give everything a chance.
And this show is GREAT.
Fear not, either side of the political isle. This show is for everyone who wants a mix of dark humor, drama, comic-book like moments, violence, thrill, high production value, and fantastic acting from most all characters.
It is not for those who are weak of mind, or cannot handle serious topics being muddled with dark humor.
If you are hesitant like me, give it a try. If you are turned off by the opening scene, don't worry... the entire show isn't like that, it comes and goes, though that might be a sign this show isn't for you.
But If your intrigue is turned on by the opening scene, then you will enjoy this show.
Descendants 3 (2019)
The Most cringe-inducing thing I have ever seen
Who enjoys this crap? It has some of the worst costumes, worst singing, worst acting, and just overall most cringe-inducing content I have ever witnessed.
It also has the most nonsensical, asinine, straight up pathetic storylines that feel like a group of actual high school LARPers making a home made film in their backyard.
If I could go negative with my score, I would. This crap should be removed from existence.
My Hotter Half (2017)
One of the Worst Netflix Shows Ever.
Netflix has some fantastic shows, some good, some mediocre, a lot of pretty bad, and a couple atrocious shows available on their streaming catalogue.
My Hotter Half is on the bottom rung of the worst of the worst.
It is favorable to call this show a flaming trash heap in a sewer.
This one episode, "Fay and Jossy", the woman named Fay parades around as if she is a runway model and honestly would even scare Bill Cosby away. The only reason I am saying this is because of how blatantly arrogant and repulsive this woman acts, believing she is a beauty to behold while looking down on others, when in fact, she is on her best day a 1.5 out of 10. It's honestly nauseating.
I would believe it if you told me this show was created from a list of rejected MTV series ideas that didn't even make it past the spam folder of a producers email.
Anyone who likes this show probably thinks Jersey Shore deserved an Emmy.
None of my review is an exaggeration. This show has about as much worth as a shredded clump of Monopoly money.
