Dunki (2023)
Family Entertainer
Watch the movie to know about the subject.
The actors especially SRK and Vicky Kaushal have done a fantastic job. You will laugh till the interval and cry in the ending. The humor in the film is very good, but the strong emotions are the key strength of this masterpiece from Raj Kumar Hirani .Dunki isn't just a boy meets girl love story where he helps her realise her dreams. It makes for a compelling storytelling with a rather significant subject of illegal migrants from India who resort to dangerous routes to land in countries abroad, and often end up sacrificing their lives. You have to give it to Hirani for beautifully blending a pertinent issue of illegal migrants, with a love story at the core.
Recommended.
Pathaan (2023)
King Size Entertainer with SRK being the Soul Of the Movie
Pathaan is the story of a spy namely pathaan played by Shah Rukh Khan who for some reasons has parted ways with the intelligence organization. However when a threat looms over the nation, his ex team members want his services to tackle the threat.
Characters: SRK is the soul of the movie. Someone who has had romantic image over the decades changes into action avatar with ease and perfection. John as Jim is absolutely terrific in his role. Kudos to Sid Anand for bringing in the antagonist who matches with the charisma of the protagonist. Deepika is in top form. She is looking ravishing as well. Ashutosh and Dimple have played their roles well.
Screenplay is the main highlight of the movie. It is fast paced and engaging. This is Sid Anand's best work so far. He has gone past his own best work War.
In nutshell, Pathaan is a blend of action, entertainment, patriotism that works for all reasons.
Thank God (2022)
AMAZING is the word
Blend of comedy and emotions. Fair enough job done by Akshay and Rakul Preet. However the showstopper is none other than Siddhart Malhotra. The movie is pleasant. Easily one of the best by Indra Kumar.
The concept of the movie is unique. The jokes are applaudable. Amitabh Bachchan's reference in one of the scenes is nicely done. The game of life and death has been aptly presented. Ghe length of the movie also works in its favour. Among the songs, the revised version of Dil De Diya Hai in Anand Raj Anand's voice just touches ones heart and soul.
On the whole this movie is definitely leaves smile on your lips and a tear in your eye . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Bellbottom (2021)
Above Average movie that could have been Good
AK is a RAW agent who leads a covert operation to rescue 210 passengers held hostage by Pakistan. The film revolves round the heroics of the lead actors including Lara, Huma and Vaani.
Bingi for the make up artist of Lara. The film looks predictable from the beginning being one of it's drawbacks.
One time watch for Akki and Thriller movie fans.
Radhe (2021)
Absolute Trash! Ruins the legacy of a Well entertainer Wanted..
First of all let me make clear that the reviews that are posted here- positive or negative are from the fans and anti Salman people. Now moving to the film, it takes us back to the point where Radhe ended the dukedom of Gani Bhai.. However this time the film runs on a tedious note with only engaging in parts. Salman as Radhe goes on a manhunt to look for the wealthiest man of Mumbai secretly running a crime syndicate. The story from onwards is predictable.. It is that old formula of Salman hunting baddies but this doesn't work time and again.
Pertinent to mention that the scenes between Radhe and Randeep Hooda just before the intermission are good. However that is not enough to make one glued for more than 2 hours. The signature shirt scene of Salman is there well at the end. However this looks monotonous with every passing Salman film. It can give you cheers in first some shows but won't connect with the audience.
Acting wise Salman has done that acting which he is known for. Disha has a small role in parts. Jacky is ignored. However Randeep Hooda is brilliant.
On the whole it is a big big let down.. A Colossal Disappointment..
