Peacemaker (2022)
Hilarious
I adore this show, I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. It's funny, acting's great and asked for Cena this shows exactly why he should just continue to act!! Couldn't have cast anyone better to play peacemaker.
Toy Story 4 (2019)
A final goodbye
I have loved this franchise ever since I was a kid and watching the original all of the time on VHS. This was a very enjoyable film, however it has to be said it is the weekest Toy Story film (possibly Pixar's)
The plot for me was fine. Forky provided some excellent comedy throughout the film. I personally loved the scene where Forky kept jumping into the trash and Woddy having to stop him from doing so. Now let's talk about the ending. How were Pixar meant to end this? For me this was the right way Woddy leaving as he'd served his purpose and knowing so for me was great (possibly leaves it open for a cash grab spin off if they wanted to go down this route) it's a kids film so those complaining what did you want Pixar to do? Kill off the toys? Definitely not the ending was fine in my eyes.
All of this being said this is the weekest of the four films, it's nearly as good as three but to get anywhere near how good the original and the second film were this needed to be spectacular, which it sadly wasn't.
Definitely worth a watch for any Toy Story fan.
One final thing the scene with the camper van being drove by the toys and getting the dad stopped by the cops was such a great scene!! Probably worth a watch for that scene alone!
Child's Play (2019)
Why are people rating this so highly?
So first off the bat, was this a comedy or a horror? I'm not sure it was either. The franchise should of remained dead. This reboot was possibly the worst reboot I've ever seen in my entire life. The only saving grace with the storyline was the forshadowing of Karen being hung (don't worry she sadly didn't die)
Chucky had some of the WORSF CGI which I've ever had the displeasure of setting my eyes on. The ending was predictable SHOCK Chucky has morphed into another doll or was he using other dolls all along? Who knows because the whole story didn't make any sense. Think Sharknado but with dolls! People save your time and money and don't watch this GARBAGE!
Us (2019)
DIRE
Gonna keep this short and sweet. This film was terrible. Just don't watch it at all.
The Nun (2018)
What a let down!
I waited what seemed an age to see The Nun my girlfriend thought it would be to scary so I went with my sister instead. My girlfriend could not of been anymore wrong. The film is filled with cheap jump scares with only one or two getting me like when Maurice is leaving the Abbey to see the nun which killed herself at the start of the film hang and kill herself again. I LOVE the conjuring however the spin offs have all seemed slightly off the pace and not as good story wise or scare wise. The final battle against Valak is quite predictable you knew what was gonna happen and we all knew that Frenchie was Maurice before it was even announced. This to me seemed like a rushed film and I'm really hoping that the second nun and conjuring 3 are a lot better than The Nun.
Venom (2018)
Completely IGNORE the critics.
I went into this thinking that the critics were right and I'd be wrong. However to my pleasant surprise Venom is a brilliant film!
Yes it takes about 20 minutes to get going but once it does it is brilliant. Hardy is superb as Eddie Brock and his some great conversations with Venom inside of his head. The only thing that I thought could of possibly been done better would be what Venom actually looked like. For all the Spider-Man 3 film gets torn apart I prefer the look of that Venom.
All in all I love this film!!
