Something off, can't put my finger on it. Adore Tim but I rather hear him & Heidi talk about fashion history than their silly side adventures. And WHAT IS UP WITH THE MUSIC? The music is insane,, just all over the place tone wise & often completely mismatched to what's going on on the screen. Plus mixed way too loud. Wish I could mute it.

Joker was my favorite movie of 2019. A real cinematic achievement by Joachim Phoenix & Todd Phillips, as well as the writers & all the crew of course. Beautiful & tragic. An origin story that captures the zeitgeist of our times perfectly.

Director Benjamin Berman made a very special movie. I can't say much more without giving anything away, but I did not expect to enjoy this. My husband had it on because he's an Amazing Johnathan fan from back in the day. I am not a fan & can't say that I am now. But I thoroughly enjoyed this film,. Clever, funny & sweet without being schmaltzy.
