Van Helsing (2004)
A complete Garbage
When introduced to the character, Van Helsing, I didn't understand what's going on between him and Dracula. Even the whole monster thing wasn't scary. The CGI was choppy, the intentions of the characters didn't make sense, and the monster transformation wasn't good.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
It's Bizarre
The first trailer showed crazy animations. It has 2D, 3D, motion captured animations in each episode. What I didn't know that each episode has their own genres in different stories. I stopped watching it because, personally, it certain nudity in various animations gave me an eyesore.
Batman & Robin (1997)
I can't believe I used to like this as a kid
When I first saw this movie as a kid I thought it was good. As I grew up, I realized Batman & Robin is terrible. Is this supposed to be the same installment of Tim Burton's Batman, if so then the director must not watched his first 2 Batman films.
The costumes are terrible, the humor is terrible, the visual effects are unwatchable, the acting bad, the characters are gullible.
I don't get why I used to love this movie. At least George Clooney hates this movie (he was Batman), and he even apologized to the fans.
The Emoji Movie (2017)
A Movie adaption about texting, and it's awful
I don't see why certain kids would love this movie. Have they not seen the Lego Movie and Wreck-It-Ralph? Because this movie is so much like it that it copies character's roles, and I couldn't even comprehend the plot. It's about this emoji who is a "meh" Emoji for someones phone and he couldn't achieve that role or something because he make facial expressions that are taboo in some text world. The jokes are corny and terrible they were unnecessary. As for one character, Jailbreak who made an unnecessary dialogue about women, because it was unnecessary it's not for kids to watch.
Skylanders Academy (2016)
Good for Skylanders kids, but not for everyone
I don't understand why would parents think this is a great show. It's good but not that good, like inspiring good. There's nothing smart about it. The animation is dynamic, the characters are underdeveloped and annoying after three seasons, the writing as well as setting is lazy, and the theme intro is uninspired. The reason why I watched this show was because of Spyro and Crash. Yes Crash made it in the show like it was a crossover or something, but that doesn't mean it's good. The Voice actor's voice doesn't match the character. In fact most of the voices don't match the characters in the show at all. There are no characters we would love to see have a role in the show. They may have an appearance but they lack the roles and personality wise in it, which everyone would've expect.
The studios who want to make video game adaptions didn't think of something practical like 2-D or couldn't give the animators money to make the 3-D. I've heard that the show is going to be like Futurama and Gravity Falls but I don't see how Skylanders being like the two shows, because it's nothing like them.
What could've been done right is the character developments, plot expansion, faithful to the Skylanders games, and expanding episode ranges in each three seasons. Despite what it needs I think this show, for not only fans, but parents who don't know about Skylanders also kids.
Pros: Dynamic Animation and Crash Bandicoot
Cons: Underdeveloped and uninspired
The Dragon Prince (2018)
Avatar: TLA in Dungeons and Dragons
When I heard that the same people who wrote Avatar The Last Airbender I was thinking this could be a good show. From the trailers on Netlfix I didn't think that this show would be greaf as it's predecessor's. When I started watching the first episode everything explained of the world was about and there must be lore and cultures explained like it was in the Avatar show. The frame rate is what made me skeptical about the show but the writers that was mentioned in the trailers convinced me to watch it. When I started watching it made feel like it's binge-watching worthy. In the promise of season 2 the frame rate would go higher, according to the creators. As for the characters, everyone ho watches the show may or may not pay attention to their personalities, just only the distracting frame rate. What lacks in frame rate it makes up for in art style, lovable and relatable characters, and rich background stories as well as magic.
-Pros: Great Characters, Rich Magic, and Feels like another Avatar Show.
-Cons: Reduced Frame Rate.
