Madagascar (2005)
Fun but far from perfect movie.
So, the plot of this movie involves 4 New York zoo animals getting shipped to Africa, but they fall off the ship and end up in Madagascar. So, I like the plot of the movie, about Marty wanting to be free in the wild, but there are times where the movie feels distracted from the main plot. There are too many pop culture references, and in the 3rd act of the movie, the plot changes to Alex going savage Andy trying to eat his friends. And for another, The Foosas, the main antagonists of the movie, are hardly in the movie. I don't even think they even had 10 minutes of screentime. I think Shrek was better than this, but I kind of like Shrek more than I did before now. So yeah, Madagascar is fun for all ages, but you might get bored watching the movie. 6.5/10
Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)
Quite simply the best video game movie ever made!
I am a pretty big Sonic fan already, but this movie was seriously the best video game movie adaptation ever made. It tells us a nice story about Sonic, a hedgehog living on Earth, who is forced to stay hidden so that no one tries to take his powers. However, when Sonic causes a blackout across the small town of Green Hill, he must team up with officer Tom Wachowski to stop Dr. Robotnik. The story is nice because Sonic has some nice character development that shows us that he is lonely and wants to make a friend, and stop being hidden. The movie is also funny, fast paced, action packed, and heartwarming. And the voice actors... do I need to say more? In this film, Robotnik is Jim Carrey at his best for sure. There's so much about this movie that is so interesting and entertaining, I don't even think 10/10 is enough for this masterpiece. I give it 100/10. Great job Sega. Best video game movie ever. Can't wait for the sequel.
Spies in Disguise (2019)
Blue Sky's Best Film For Sure!
I enjoyed every second of this movie! Will Smith and Tom Holland were so fabulous in this film. It's even better than Robots (2005), which was my favorite Blue Sky film before this. And also, I laughed my head off a lot throughout the movie. This movie is such an enjoyable ride, that satisfies for the entire movie. I hope they make Spies In Disguise 2, because this movie was just awesome.
Asphalt 9: Legends (2018)
One of the best car racing games, if not the best car game ever!
I love just about everything about this game. There's more than 80 cars, several cool tracks, cool moves and stunts you can do, and more. What's not to like here? I have this game on my Switch, and it is a blast to play. This is one of those games where you have some gas tanks, but you can refill them using coins. Such a great game! 11/10.
Sonic Boom: Robots from the Sky: Part 4 (2017)
This! Is! Awesome!!!!!!!!
Robots From The Sky, my favorite Sonic Boom episode. Part 4 is pretty much the icing on the cake. I just love everything about this episode. I love that they made robotic duplicates of Team Sonic. They are pretty awesome. And the final battle is just amazing. The part at the end where Tails saves Sonic's life, oh boy, it doesn't get better than that. Robots From The Sky. It is awesome, and like I said, it's my favorite Sonic Boom episode, because of the music, the story, the characters, the action, and more.
Sonic Boom: Robots from the Sky: Part 3 (2017)
Yep, this part is fantastic too!
This is the third part to the epic, intense episode "Robots From The Sky". And this one is too fantastic. It's pretty action packed. In this one, after Sonic and Tails arrive in Morristown, they find out that the robots in Morristown (except for Mighton, Bolts, and the Robot Resistance) are infected too. And later, Sonic and Tails find out that Tails's creation from "Robot Battle Royale", Hypnobot is the one controlling the robots. And I gotta say, Hypnobot makes a great villain in this 4 part episode. He is pretty darn evil. And the music is still killer. I just love it! Robots From The Sky Part 3 is another great part to Robots From The Sky.
Sonic Boom: Robots from the Sky: Part 2 (2017)
Pretty dang awesome!
I love the whole Robots From The Sky 4 parter episode. It's my favorite of the whole TV show. I think Morristown is a great edition to the show, I think it is creative that this whole epic adventure is in the sky, I think the story's great, and everyone acts in character. So yeah, easily the best Sonic Boom episode. Part 2 is pretty great as well. The plot is where all of the robots on the ground are infected by a malware signal, so Sonic and Tails need to go to Morristown to stop the malware. The part where Sonic and Tails are going to Morristown is the best part of Part 2, b/c the music is killer, the scene parodies Star Wars, And at one point, Sonic yells "Do a barrel roll!" which is a Starfox reference. So yeah, another great part to Robots From The Sky.
Sonic Boom: Robots from the Sky: Part 1 (2017)
What a great episode!
The whole Robots From The Sky 4 part episode is my favorite episode of the whole Sonic Boom TV show. Morristown is a pretty cool new location in and new addition to the show. Part 1 is a pretty good start to this 4 part episode. In this part, we are introduced to Mighton and Bolts, two robots From Morristown. They are pretty cool. Pretty sweet episode.
Sonic Boom (2014)
My new favorite show!!!
Words cannot say how much I love this show. It is filled with adventure, friendship, action, humor, and more. Robots From The Sky has to be my favorite episode (I love all 4 parts). Some episodes I don't really like, but I love most of this show. It is near perfect. Sonic is lovable, Tails is cute, Knuckles is funny, Amy is nice, and... Sticks is annoying. But anyways, great show with several great episodes, and I'd give anything for a season 3.
Cars 3 (2017)
Such a great improvement over Cars 2!
So I personally loved Cars 1, I liked Cars 2 but I didn't love it, but this is easily the best of the Cars movies. This movie is so underrated in my opinion. It could've been a bit darker, but it had just about the right level for a Pixar sequel. In fact, I feel like this would've been good as the story of Cars 1, let alone be the story of Cars 2. So good job Pixar! Two thumbs up!
Cars 2 (2011)
Decent, but nowhere near the original.
I loved Cars so much when I was a kid. As a child, it was my favorite movie of all time. When I heard they were making a sequel, I genuinely couldn't wait to see it. Now don't get me wrong, this movie is good in my opinion, but I feel it is a little too dark to be a Cars movie. This doesn't even come close to the original. This movie's violence and darkness almost matches up to Disney's Brave Little Toaster (1987). So yeah, I don't think Pixar did a really great job with this one. Not the best, not the worst, just okay.
Cars (2006)
Now this is a racing movie!
I am a fan of racing, and this was my favorite movie as a child. My love has faded overtime, but this movie is still a classic. Is it as good as Toy Story or The Incredibles? No, but it still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. Excellent work Pixar! Bravo! 👏
Toy Story 4 (2019)
Long live Toy Story!
This is easily my favorite of all 4 Toy Story movies, and for one particular reason. The ending was perfect for the series. The goodbye between Woody and Buzz is in my opinion, one of the saddest scenes ever put into film. So wow, this somehow managed to be even sadder than Toy Story 3. To top it all off, this was definitely the perfect conclusion to a great series. Pixar, you get an A+++++++++++++ for this film. Keep at it!
Shrek Forever After (2010)
Not as good as the 2nd one, but better than 1 & 3.
Shrek 1 was a decent film in my opinion. Not the best movie ever, but not the worst movie ever either. Shrek 2 was an absolute marvel. I loved a majority of the film and it's intense and great scenes. Shrek The Third turned the series into trash with it's unoriginality. Lazy villain choice, and the same setting as the 2nd movie, Far Far Away. But Shrek Forever After is actually a movie that piqued my interest. This is easily the 2nd best Shrek movie. Only one flight away from Shrek 2. So let's get out the Pros & Cons list, shall we?
Pros:
A Shrek movie that finally has actual heart and emotion.
I love the addition of more ogres.
The story is interesting.
Although Rumpelstiltskin was in the 3rd film, at least he is a better villain than Charming.
The way ogres blow on their noses to make horn sounds is quite cool.
The dialogue is quite decent actually.
The film pretends Shrek The Third doesn't exist.
Cons:
Far Far Away is the main setting AGAIN!
4 movies in, and Shrek is still not being very nice to people aside from Fiona.
Everyone in the alternate universe has to be a slave, besides Rumpelstiltskin.
So, I think this is a decent movie. Not the best, but slightly better than Shrek 1, and way better than Shrek The Third. 9/10.
Shrek the Third (2007)
No thanks DreamWorks. This just doesn't work.
Shrek (2001) was a pretty decent movie actually. It had some nice heart, and okay characters, but it suffered some problems. Shrek 2 (2004) was an absolutely brilliant movie. That movie had a better villain than the first film, great music, great themes, and more. And this film is a step backwards for the franchise. The villain is lazy. It is just Prince Charming again. The setting hasn't changed at all. It is Far Far Away again. In fact, this movie feels a bit like Shrek 2 all over again, except there are some changes. DreamWorks thought they were going to get away with this didn't they? Nope. They didn't. DreamWorks just ruined the Shrek franchise by making a worthless three quell with boring scenes, little to no funny scenes, superfluous things going on, and one heck of a lazy villain choice! I hope you are happy DreamWorks! You went from Shrek 2 to this! 😡 What a lazy Movie!
Shrek 2 (2004)
A whole lot better than the original!
So I wasn't really a huge fan of Shrek (2001). I thought that movie was ogre-rated, and it had a weak villain. However, Shrek 2 is actually the only Shrek movie that I'd rate 10/10. This movie is actually a surprisingly great movie. The climax is absolutely brilliant, the villain is a lot better than Lord Farquaad, there are some pretty funny scenes. Puss In Boots is a pretty hilarious and great character. This is the only Shrek sequel, and even the only Shrek movie that I actually really loved. Good job DreamWorks!
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Totally worth the 3 hour duration!
This movie is easily the best of all 4 Avengers movies. It's long, but also action packed. The finale is just sooooooooooo amazing! The idea of time travel was just really amazing. Seeing all of the disintegrated heroes come back in the end nearly brought a tear to my eye. This movie is easily a 10/10 for me. I suggest you watch this movie if you haven't seen it, because it is a marvel (no pun intended).
Toy Story 3 (2010)
You did it yet again Pixar!
Toy Story 1 was just an absolute masterpiece, Toy Story 2 was the perfect example of a sequel, and Toy Story 3, I don't know what to say about this one, but it is still just as great as the first two movies. The ending was truly something (no spoilers). I don't think any other studio could make Toy Story as well as Pixar. This is true quality. I can't wait for Toy Story 4. Please don't disappoint me Pixar!
Toy Story 2 (1999)
Well well well. A successful sequel! Yes!
So you all know how much I enjoyed Toy Story (1995). It is one of my favorite movies of all time. And the sequel, is just as enjoyable. The story may not be as good as the first movie's story, but oh my is this movie hot. There is new characters like Jessie the cowgirl, Mrs. Potato Head, Stinky Pete, and Bullseye. The movie is funny, the action is pretty decent, and so on. It even has somewhat more intense scenes than the first. This is exactly what a sequel should be like. Thank you Pixar. Not only did you succeed with your first movie, which was Toy Story (1995), but you also succeeded with your first sequel. Never stop making successful movies please.
Toy Story (1995)
One of the best movies ever made!
This was made back in the 1990s. I swear I could watch this movie a thousand times and not get bored. This truly is one of the greatest movies ever made. It is colorful, it is story, it's characters. Just, wow! This is one of cinema's best accomplishments. This movie has great dialogue as well. And to think, this was Pixar's first movie. Meaning they succeeded first try. 100/10 for this movie!
Shrek (2001)
May have some problems, but overall an enjoyable experience.
DreamWorks is like #3 in animation studio history. Right behind Disney and Pixar. But, Dreamworks surprisingly did it with Shrek. And this was one of their earlier movies that they made. Okay, this movie isn't flawless in my opinion. Like there are too many fart jokes, the characters are just a tiny bit unlikeable to me. The villain is lacking lots of stuff. The story isn't that great. But I'll tell you what. The voices are amazing. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow. Now that is what I am talking about. And Smash Mouth is in it. The character design looks great. And the humor is top notch. This movie is definitely worth a watch. Not bad Dreamworks. Not bad.
