As Good as It Gets (1997)
Hopeless lonely romantics unite
Jack Nicolson is as charming and quirky as ever in this romantic comedy.A rascal that can't help but being loved by so many women who just love those challenging men out there. The script writing was perfect, and his famous line that melted my heart ""I feel that I am the only person that knows you are the greatest woman alive", still swims through my head, probably wishing it could be said to me sometime in my silly life. Helen Hunt and her unique voice and mannerism made her an unexpected perfect match for Jack in the film.A fabulous must have movie from your personal library to be watched on a rainy afternoon for many years to come.
In a World... (2013)
Delightful and heartfelt!
As a female working voice actor, the film hit quite a chord! The field of acting, whether it is on screen or in front of a microphone, is filled with competition, dreams of success and the reality that we are seeking our personal passions. The cast of characters were fantastic, and the cameo selection of actors added to the already wonderful mix of talent. The story was spot on! Dimitri Martin was a joy to watch, and knowing he has directed projects himself made it that more entertaining to see him in the role of vocal director. Showing the tender side of him with his relationship with our main character kept me that more intrigued for the anticipated ending. I hope to see the movie distributed to more theaters, it was a delight, and I'd watch it again anytime!
A Different Approach (1978)
bittersweet
I met one of the actors, thee actual employer of the disabled....he told me all about it, now, How can I order this movie for my own library??? It sounds so bittersweet and something we should all view going into a new year. Apparently Ron, my acquaintance, counseled Lear on how the disabled employees work and their feelings and thoughts on their life. He was a vital part of the project. The film won several awards for small film works and possibly a documentary category if my memory serves me well.Ron just received a copy a few weeks ago himself so was quite proud of his contribution. i would like to share in his joy by owning a copy of this. Could someone please direct me to orders?
