Christmas with You (2022)
Fun Christmas Movie
This was a fun, entertaining Christmas movie. I am not sure what people expected of it. Sure it's predictable, as are most romantic holiday films. It was fun and heartwarming and that's all I'm looking for from these types of movies. The acting was better than many in this movie genre. As a bonus, it's awesome seeing Freddie Prinze Jr. Back! He was a big heart throb from my teen years and it was fun seeing him in this role (although it makes me feel a tad old knowing he's now playing dad characters).
Overall, if you're looking for something fun and heartwarming, this romantic holiday film will fulfill that.
Split (2016)
Excellent movie!
I'm not sure why I waited over 2 years since it came out to watch Split. I'm kicking myself now for not seeing it in the theater originally. This movie is fantastic. James McAvoy is outstanding. I typically don't consider myself to be someone who enjoys psychological thrillers, but seeing this makes me rethink the genres I typically gravitate towards. Great writing, excellent acting, bizarre yet intriguing story that really makes you think.
Glass (2019)
Great movie
I really enjoyed this film and definitely plan on seeing it more than once in the theater as it keeps you thinking throughout. Split is definitely my favorite of these three movies (Unbreakable, Split, Glass); however, Glass was very well done as well. I was extremely impressed with James McAvoy's performance in Split, but his performance in Glass is phenomenal as he really portrays more of his character's identities.
