The artificial language is imho a mixture of many European languages including Russian, Romanian, Polish, French, English, German and more. Nevertheless it is not difficult to understand ... Jean Reno is incredible - especially in his second role! Metallica deserves absolute mark for being really "kafkish" (it reminds me scenes from Kafka directed by Steven Soderbergh). I wonder what the movie budget was, it seems to me rather costly to build up such complex stage. Does anyone know another movie of this kind maybe by the same team of creators? I wish to see more of this kind - it is not so absurd as Svankmajer is and the final impression is remarkable
