Naeil (2022)
Obnoxious lead star and plagiarism
To be honest this is not a good kdrama and I've watched over a hundred. One of main protagonists (the newly-initiated grim reaper) is -simply put- an idiot, to such a degree I could not watch past the third episode. The rules of the 'game' are also all over the place and often nonsensical. Even fantasy dramas have to keep some sort of balance when it comes to the context of the rules that constrain and define the characters' actions. There is also the fact that half of an episode more or less directly stole the mind-hacking concepts and visuals of the movie "Inception" - something that rarely happens in kdramas where originality is one of the core foundations of their success. Do not watch, there are too many other great ones out there.
No Time to Die (2021)
007 is NOT a sissy!
A perfectly good adventure wasted as a Bond film. Allow me to explain. This film must be categorized as non-canon at the very least. It broke major cardinal 007 rules:
1. James Bond is NOT a family man, he changes women as often as he changes shirts 2. James Bond does NOT cry like a little girl. 3. James Bond CANNOT die 4. James Bond is a WHITE MALE from the UK (just as Shaft is a BLACK MALE from the U. S.) 5. James Bond IS 007 and 007 IS James Bond.
In conclusion, if I was forced to categorize this one as a Bond film, I would simply have to say that it's by far the worst one ever made - and that's putting it mildly...
Liu lang di qiu (2019)
Makes Battlefield Earth look like pure Oscar hold!
Simply put, horrible! I wouldn't even know where to begin... The script? The characters? The special effects? All I can say is it was a good laughter for a while there Hahahahgghhhjjjjj hhjjj.
The Expanse (2015)
Inferior last two seasons - what a pity!
It will take too much space to explain why, suffice it to say that (unfortunately) the post-AmazonPrime era of this amazing show did not live up to the expectations. The first three seasons were EPIC, the last two were just okay. Especially in the last season (5), I have real difficulty understanding why the (new?) production team took such an unecessary turn with so many great plots and sub-plots just down the drain. Let's hope for some redemption in the final season...
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
NOT BAD!
Considering what JJ had to work with after the episode 7 mediocrity & the episode 8 fiasco, he did a good job.
It's about time C. Kennedy stepped down and the Mandalorian or Rogue One team took over the franchise.
Rogue One (2016)
This IS Star Wars
This is possibly the best Star Wars film ever made... (what a statement, I know).
All Disney had to do is offer this director complete control over the franchise and you would have something unique and magnificent. Instead, the director & team were never heard of again...
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
An interesting film but certainly nothing special
Forget the hype due to the creator's name and judge for yourselves.
The Orville: Primal Urges (2019)
Horrible episode, such a pity
Not much to say really - after all the brilliant episodes this...and concerning the most boring of all the characters
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
UNFORTUNATELY DISAPPOINTING
There are just far too many inconsistencies and questions with this film to mention here. Suffice it to say that there is something seriously wrong when a minor character such as Nebula gets something like 60 minutes of screen time and characters such as Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange, Spiderman, Black Panther, Winter Soldier and others appear for maybe 5 minutes...
Captain Marvel (2019)
Had a great time!
Fun and entertaining movie don't miss it! Maybe not Marvel's best but certainly much better than the Black Panther!
