For being one of the creators of Verdades Ocultas... I was surprised
21 December 2023
I did not trust the scriptwriters at all, since "Verdades Ocultas" is a project that is not to my liking, the truth is that I gave it a chance because of the great cast, however, it is a fairly rounded project, although it has in common a slow pace and overexposure dialogues like "Verdades Ocultas", the truth this time, The script is much better put together, the twists are organic and surprise for good, and the extension feels justified, another of the mistakes corrected in the previous project is in the balance of characters, in "Verdades Ocultas" there were too many, however here focusing on only two nuclei was a success.

I highlight the great work of Carolina Arregui, Julio Milostich, Loreto Valenzuela, Magdalena Müller and Carlos Diaz.

Although it is not one of my favorite thrillers, the truth is that it is a very enjoyable and rounded product, the daytime is still alive.

Faith in prime soap operas is back!
14 November 2023
A gem of the channel, impeccable production design and a great cast mixed with veteran and young actors that works perfectly, with a brutal acting aspect that takes them out of typecasting.

Great characters, Gastón Salgado is enshrined in the protagonists such as the honorable Pedro Ramírez, not to mention "La Gato", Carmen Zabala stole the show. Great work by the debutante María Jose Weigel and with a strong feminist charge. But as I always highlight in soap operas, there are the villains, of which there are plenty in this production, The Perverse Antonia Williams played by Paola Volpato, who is hated and admired, the despot Cornelis by Marcelo Alonso, the self-conscious Gregorio by Pancho Melo, The calculating Ester, but also how can we forget Rodrigo Soto and Roberto Farías, two great actors who shine with great villains and with delicious black humor.

Of the secondary ones I would like to highlight María Gracia Omegna, who made a brutal turnaround if we compare her with her previous works, excellent. Alejandra Araya impeccable with her detective that we treasured from minute one, and also Ingrid Cruz as Sister Helena, a peculiar nun that everyone will love.

The narrative rhythm oscillates between speed and pause but never boring, since each narrative event contributed to the story, perhaps some events could have happened in a different way or given more of themselves, but it never got tiring.

Great work by Rodrigo Cuevas, a great addition to the night schedule.

Cowardly Adaptation
7 June 2023
A very conservative and cowardly adaptation for such a good work that was the Chilean production.

I wonder why televisa, being so conservative, decided to adapt this story, because the truth is, THEY TAKEN EVERYTHING GOOD FROM IT.

Only the cast can be rescued, since they are the only ones who strive to raise the product, since even they suffer due to the lousy script that wastes so much acting talent.

It's not worth watching, I recommend above all the original story, it is much more risky, if the comparisons are hateful, but in this case, it seems to me a terrible lack of respect for the original work.

Wacky story saved by cast and dynamism
8 February 2023
It may be a guilty pleasure, but I really enjoyed this story, despite its imperfect details.

It is not an example of a soap opera to follow, however the script is very dynamic to my surprise despite many strange characters and situations, the varied cast makes the story entertaining and fun.

Without a doubt, my favorites were Sigrid Alegría and Francisca Walker, very histrionic and funny.

The worst ironically is the lead couple, while the supporting characters are tremendously fun and have an evolution to admire, the leads are toxic and make you want to slap them.

I wouldn't know whether to recommend it, but it's much better and more fun than several of its predecessors on the schedule.

It's pretty decent for an afternoon soap opera,
7 February 2023
We are in a very disastrous moment for afternoon soap operas, I did not expect absolutely anything, especially from one of the main scriptwriters, Rodrigo Bastidas, since most of his stories have a terrible development, however this story is not like that (It seems that the duet with Daniella Castagno helped him a lot)

It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, there is a good dose of comedy with melodrama and it is very natural.

It should be noted that it has a very fast and dynamic narrative pace, however this is overshadowed by the lousy edition of the programming. The cast is a mixture of veteran actors with current ones, and it gives a lot of freshness to the story.

Baltazar's entire family are very toxic characters, however it is appreciated that the script is aware of this, and this is reflected by the damage they cause to the supporting characters

It is appreciated that the afternoon soap operas can be taken a little more seriously, since what seemed like a bad parody ended up dealing with sensitive issues in a very respectful way. Recommendable.

Good intentions, low risk
12 February 2022
The truth is that I feel a slight improvement in the script when compared to the previous evening TV series, however, in the direction they do not dare to take risks, leaving many somewhat lame scenes that do not match the rhythm of the TV series, since there are some moments of quite interesting drama for what time, but at the same time it has absurd and unbelievable scenes, however he approves of it for the great acting performance, and because the drama is a little better achieved, along with the comedy that yes well it can feel cheap at times, it does not become irritable as in its predecessors, and although it is not the best in its schedule, it seems to me a thousand times better than other previous clunkers and it is not at all the worst evening that Mega has produced . Fortunately, the following TV series I feel have improved the tone of drama and comedy a bit.

Refreshing return of CHV
3 August 2021
When it was on the air I was not interested, however with the good comments and they would also be in quarantine, I was encouraged to see it, and it has been a more than pleasant surprise.

I'm not a fan of comedy to begin with, but this time there is a great mix of drama and comedy that made the soap opera a most enjoyable and fun experience.

The cast is simply brutal, full of endearing characters, Paloma Moreno manages to sublimely separate the identity of her twins, but the ones I have to applaud are Berta Lasala who is spectacular with her role as Maruca, the laughs that I get out were for eternity, and we must also rescue the role of Loreto Valenzuela, who is one of the most endearing and respectable representations of the LGBTQ + community.

The other supporters are grateful that they have a great time, applause to Francisco Celhay also because his role was a jewel.

As negative aspects I would say that it could have been a little shorter, but it is a detail that does not spoil the result and is appreciated.

A round of applause to CHV for this great return to television series, and it is expected that this streak will continue despite the channel's indefinite situation.

Demente: El juego de una mente sin ideas / but Flaviera GOD
28 April 2021
I have stayed cold, I really admire the screenwriter Pablo Illanes, thanks to the suspense genre it is what it is in Chile, but the lack of creativity in this script is alarming, what a way to sell smoke, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED, it became ETERNAL , and the good was so fleeting that it stood out with grace, even the scriptwriter himself towards teasers of things that never happened, it seems to me a real lack of respect for all lovers of soap operas who took the time to see it in its entirety.

Note 5 is because the direction was spectacular, Patricio González looked like in Juegos de Poder, the performances, and especially Flaviera, a too cute romance and that was the only thing that mattered.

Welcome to paradise, Esmeralda
17 March 2021
A pleasant surprise, Coca Gomez surprises us with a very well put together script and a good dose of drama and suspense that will touch more than one sensitive vibes.

The subject of prostitution is treated with admirable respect, and each of the characters is well armed.

We must highlight the performances, Fernanda Urrejola stands out as Magdalena and gets your full attention and empathy, and of course, those who stole the show are the villains: Ignacia Allamand as Lietta Meyer and Hector Noguera as Ronny Palma! whose badness of the characters is so well worked that it turns out to be artistic.

I also cannot fail to mention other great performances that were carried out by Pablo Macaya, Catalina Guerra, Malucha Pinto, Cesar Arredondo and Bárbara Ruiz Tagle, all with enormous talent that shines through their presence.

The best CHV TV series! and as Ronny says, a diamond in the rough, it deserved a lot more rating than it got.

Risas involuntarias.
11 November 2020
A clear example that good intentions are overshadowed by poor and fast production. An alarming script work is needed, coupled with the direction that does nothing but ruin everything, the tremendous cast can do little or nothing if they are made to work halfway. Despite everything, I must admit that I enjoy it guiltily because of the irreverence of the situations, and because of the enormous acting work, among them I highlight Claudia Dirigolamo in a moving role, the villain of Amparo Noguera, an omnipotent being who appears at convenience haha, but that thanks to his talent he manages to enjoy himself, and other secondary ones like Alejandro Trejo who were noticed. In short, an opportunity wasted by the little affection of the channel.

It deserved a night caliber production!
5 November 2020
A tremendous Chascas script that deserved a night-time production and not go through the obstacles of the evening schedule, even so, nothing to say about the script, an attractive and dizzying story that had no respite where each character contributed without falling behind, not to mention cast, admirable chemistry.

Pituca Sin Lucas II: La secuela espiritual que nadie pidio.
29 August 2020
Watching the casting, I am impressed and saddened by the amount of talent wasted by a generic script and without tables, the sausage factory fulfills its function more than present at this moment, I did not remember that it was so disastrous until its transmission of 2020 that I rub myself in the face how bad it was. The only good thing is the dramatic turn of the last chapters, which shows the acting quality of the actors, special mention to Dayana Amigo, she deserves better roles, she has a lot of talent. !!

Daring!
16 July 2020
Quite a surprise at the time, it is evident that the production played all the cards, and for good, unexpected the freedom that canal 13 allowed the production, something worthy of applauding.

The direction of Cristian Mason is exceptional and with a unique personality, and above all, the script work is really careful, Catalina Calcagni and company develop an exceptional work, with complex and unforgettable characters, special mention to Ignacia Baeza and Nestor Cantillna, they stole the TV series.

However, a perfect series does not appear, there are a couple of factors that did not convince me, the story of the serial killer, despite being more than good, in my opinion it takes a bit of the suspense. And above all, the final chapter, which was most mediocre and gratuit, a gigantic disappointment.

(by the way, score 1 to the edition of canal 13 for the last microchapters, which partially killed the intensity)

However, I consider that these errors do not completely tarnish the quality of the story, and it will be remembered for it, since this time, the virtues of 'Pacto de Sangre' completely outweigh its shortcomings.

Highly recommended.

A completely palomiter series and enjoyable with a lot of great performances and moments of tension, however the need to be an effective series for which you delete your brain if you enjoy it better. I hope with the second season, but I hope that some aspects of the script will improve that will not convince you, but that will not be well.

First Mega comedy/drama that works!
12 June 2020
For me, the comedy produced in Mega was synonymous with caricature, however, 'Sres. Papis' to give me the hope that you can still make TV series that balance comedy and drama (up to the suspense), we must make the screenwriters headed by Rodrigo Cuevas easy, who did an effective and exciting script work without falling into mere Caricature, on the other hand, there is a great direction of actors and characters that will be remembered for their good development.

Some negative detail would be the editing of chapters, but that is already the fault of the executives and not of the production, and obviously perhaps secondary that gave for more, but the result is satisfactory, Notable TV series, the night block left on the right foot.

Cuando falta un buen libreto, se nota
10 June 2020
A very boring television series that does not have a degree of charisma, the script is written quickly and poorly, giving situations so as not to forget how ridiculous they are, 'Pituca sin Lucas' was not the most complex work that we say, however you made yourself A few laughs, on this occasion everything is forced, not to mention the poor cast, who have less chemistry than a stone, but I do not know if it is their fault or the script.

Forgettable, Castagno surprised me with 'Vuelve Temprano', and moving from that to 'this' is sad, very sad.

Unforgettable, but it could have been shorter
4 June 2020
Pablo Illanes brings us again, through the work of his mind, this murky and exciting drama, with unforgettable characters and situations to remember. Not to mention the great actors, the staging and the music, remarkable!

Unfortunately, after the good reception, instead of closing in a big way, the TV series received a VERY BADLY MADE EXTENSION, full of situations that do not amount to anything and filler chapters where nothing happens, which do nothing but hinder the main story. Only the history of Barcedes is one of the points that kept this extension afloat.

I liked the final chapter in spite of everything, it is not entirely coherent and it is rushed, but it is dizzying and not bad.

A remarkable TV series, but that is far from being the best of the genre and Mega, I still hope that Illanes will continue in Mega, but hopefully his next productions will not have an unfortunate lengthening.

Casa de Muñecos: Victima del Review Bombing
9 May 2020
Must admit that it was difficult for me to find the identity of the series (especially due to the terrible publicity), however, the remarkable script work, not to mention the cast that is to be applauded, nevertheless received an avalanche of criticism, one by militants of the 'right 'quite illogical by the way, and another, by the followers of Pacto de Sangre, come on !, two great productions on the air, and instead of enjoying they compare ad nauseam. Finally because of things like this the good vibes decline.

Mucha mano mata la guagua
4 March 2020
After that phrase said by Gabo Cañas to refer to the final result, which could not be more perfect, I begin with my little review.

It is noted that Canal 13 got a hand in production and not precisely for good and limiting certain virtues.

Although we must also admit despite the good intentions, the situation went out of the hands of the scriptwriters, however, it does not stop me from saying that I thought it was a remarkably enjoyable product.

It is necessary to leave by the risky direction of Cristián Mason that allowed him to forge a seal of quality, from each sequence and each directed actor, it was a pleasure to admire.

The actors complied exceedingly, especially the villains Julio Milostich and Claudia Digirolamo, especially the latter, stole every look of this teleserie !.

Anyway, remarkable product and a pity that Canal 13 could not value it.

Verdades Ocultas (2017– )
STOP
2 March 2020
'Verdades Ocultas' is by far one of the worst productions that mega has produced, I cannot deny that it is somewhat entertaining and that it has actors that know how to maintain the standard, however, the script is very cliché and elaborate, full of scenes that nothing happens and do not come to mind, the only reason why it has a rating is because of the morbidity, and because the competition of the schedule is simply even worse. Anyway, hopefully it will be over soon and give new productions a chance.

Mega's most complex TV series
17 February 2020
"Juegos de Poder" is by far the most risky and daring television series that Mega has produced.

All this thanks to Luis Ponce, a screenwriter who has already demonstrated the ability to leave the viewer on the edge of the seat, as in his previous soap opera Amanda. With an intense and dizzying rhythm, high tense and dramatic content that I take advantage of this story. But all this story cannot be better adapted thanks to the director Patricio González, who manages a visual care to admire.

I cannot fail to mention the great work of each actor, from Rudolphy who once again manages to play a villain like his previous Quiroga, although Beltrán is much more complex and interesting for my taste.

Others that I liked were Patricia Rivadeneira, Ingrid Cruz, and Francisca Imboden, Roberto Farías, who all showed that they are still the best at what they do, giving great and up-to-date performances.

Without a doubt, the one who surprised the most is perhaps Augusto Schuster. That thanks to a great script and his great acting, he manages to get out of the typecasting.

The final chapter was not up to the task in my opinion, it lacked a few steps but still does not take away the feeling of having enjoyed a great story.

All the aspects that I mention make the TV series stand out among so much junk, and for that reason it is highly recommended.

TVN MUTILÓ SUS ÚLTIMOS 15 CAPÍTULOS POR EL RATING, NO SE ENTIENDE NADA!!!
5 December 2019
We must admit and welcome merit to this series, it is special to the writers, for taking risks (despite the fact that it was noted that they did not fully agree with the ideas), The art work was also remarkable, the setting is spectacular, unfortunately, the channel, despite offering the tools, did not fulfill the promises, all this because of the damn qualification numbers, and this was noticed, since in the last sections of the TV series everything was forced and rushed, and other stretches boring and endless, a real shame because you could see that the writers were understood, thus demonstrating its terrible status as a channel.

Anyway, disappointing, I applaud the work of the writers, and also that of the actors, unfortunately I only remain in good intentions, a 5 for the risk.

Questionable production, ¡but IMPECCABLE script!
28 September 2019
The greatest strength of 'Amanda' was the script for the speed and intensity in which it unfolds, full of interesting situations and a rare cast, but one that fulfills and excites the viewer, special mention to Loreto Valenzuela as the great villain of the production , to stop and applaud.

I also highlight the musicalization, which is excellent.

However, it must be admitted that the channel did not play much for the budget, and it shows, not for good, however the script is so good that the budget does not matter, I still hope that the channel takes note with its television series in technical issues.

One of the best TV series produced by Mega and one of the best in the decade, (the final chapter by the way, excellent and groundbreaking)
