Oppenheimer (2023)
A must watch, but not for everyone
You see a 20-year-old guy's first review who "hates" math, physics, and philosophy but is an enormous history enthusiast. The movie is brilliant and breathtaking; you don't even notice spending 3 hours in a movie theater. However, it must be emphasized that for those who are not familiar with history or are not interested in it, it might be a difficult watch. There were times when I found it a bit boring as well, especially during the physics and philosophical scenes. As for the negligible parts, removing them wouldn't have been a problem, and in return, the movie would have been a bit shorter, but there was no chance that it would change my view of this masterpiece. The acting and cinematography were not just perfect but some of the best I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few things despite my age. Both the music and the visual effects were professional, as one would expect from Nolan's direction. They were never out of place, and the quantity was just right. There's no way to nitpick in this movie. Definitely in the top 3 from Nolan's works.
I hope there will be more films in the topic that come close to this one.
