Modern Love (2019)
I don't usually write reviews, but I needed to write this one.
Someone talked to me about this, just yesterday. Today I finished the last episode of Season 1, and loved every part of it.
8 Stories, 8 ways of loving, caring, changing and living in a different way each time. Even thought it's a love based show, It really is larger than that, with a lot of depth, a wide range of sincere emotions that you just cannot find in another show.
I'm literally glad I found this show, as it kind of opened new ways of thinking my relationships, and quiet franckly, my love life.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
The King's Man (2021)
Felt like a child all along.
And not in a good way. The events start a bit before WW1 and I feel like the first part of the movie is all about telling kids a simplified version of how it all started. Then followed by what seems to be the worst view on the actual war when you've seen 1917. Nothing is subtile, nothing is surprising. I feel like it could have been a great film if they had tried to be more like Sherlock Holmes : Game of shadow : a bit more brainy, not feeling like they should explain everything to you beforehand.
Sex Weather (2018)
don't go ! it's actually good ;)
So I've found this movie, saw the trailer and was excited about it. It seemed like the movie I've been looking for a long time. Then I decided to read User's review beforehand (just to be sure) and almost decided not to watch it.
first of all, there are some flaws, yes but to me it doesn't deserve this kind of rating (like really ? worst than street fighter ?) at all. I get that it wouldn't touch everyone the way it touched me but it's not a bad film.
Two people in a bed for a day, giving a shot at complete honesty, and falling in love. the story is really good, I like it and wanted to see a movie like that for a long time, it reminds me of Two nights stand a bit (if you liked it give it a shot).
The moviemaking is not bad either, as I said not flawless (there is this weird 'let's take a look at the outside so we can fast-forward'), but pretty good. loved the dialogues, actors are good, not that much nudity even though they're naked during the whole movie, nor sex, at least not explicit.
