Angel Has Fallen (2019)
It's going down :(
Cinematography is bad.
Too Cliche.
Very predictable.
Good actors = Good Acting.
Midsommar (2019)
Extremely Overrated. Absolute waste of time.
This is one heck of a very disappointing film. I was curious since it has a high rating. I gave it a 5 for the effort, acting, cinematography, setting. But I didn't like it at all. I love mind films like inception, shutter island, etc. But this one is on a whole different level. I don't see this as a horror movie. I see this as a weird movie. I watched it with my friends and all of us felt sleepy at some point. It is too slow and predictable. One of my friends abandoned the film from disappointment. None of my friends liked the film. Some parts are meant to be serious but you'd laugh because of how it was executed. I wish I just watched a different movie.
Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (2016)
Bad acting
I dragged myself to finish season 1.
I love the book so much. I love the story, the characters. But not this tv series. They didn't do the book justice.
The two leads are the worst I've seen. They are good looking but their acting is the worst. I think, the only good thing about this is Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum. I hope they improved for season 2.
Brothers in Blood: The Lions of Sabi Sand (2015)
Deserves a good rating~
This documentary is about the 6 Mapogos brothers. It is simple and it got me hooked. If only we have more documentaries about the six brave lions, I'd watch them in any day.
Conan to Kiddo to Kurisutaru Maza (2004)
Good Story~
I've watched a couple of Detective Conan/Case Closed OVA and this is, by far, my favorite.
The story is different in a sense that the story is actually predictable. However, what made it different is Conan's involvement with the crime. You will understand what I'm saying if you have already watched the OVA and compare it to the 3 OVAs before it.
The Departed (2006)
Best movie everrrrrr~
I love this movie!
Story: The story is the best I've ever seen. The ending left me speechless. It left me crying and spacing out for the whole day. When you don't like the ending, you usually give a mark down on the movie. And I honestly did not like how this film ended. But I still gave it a 10/10. Why? Because it is epic! The film is best left that way, even if it's not the way I want it to.
Characters: Jack Nicholson? Mark Wahlberg? Matt Damon? Leonardo di Caprio(You'll never go wrong with a Leo movie)? Why did they cast great actors on one film? What do you expect? The casting is perfect.
This is an absolute perfection.
Speak (2004)
I'm in pieces...
The book broke my heart, and the film broke my heart once again. The film tackles different types of abuse. The main lead's stoic face is perfect for this film. The story line is beautifully executed from the book. And the casts are good. Although the acting did not really reach me, the story makes up for it.
If I Stay (2014)
A nice movie~
I haven't read the book, and I think that it is a good thing.
Story: I love this story. It is realistic and yet, it's a fantasy. Yes, I'll say that it is a fantasy because... ok, I don't want to be a spoiler :D
Characters: I like the female lead, but what took me the most is the male character. I heard he is being criticized on this film but his expressions, and emotion really gets me.
Every Day (2018)
It's a nice movie to watch
Here I go again. Having the difficulty to rate a movie because I read the book.
Story: I love the unique Story. I super love love love it.
Casts: The female lead is good. I like her. But the main downside for this movie is "A". I know this is very difficult to achieve but the movie and casts should make you feel like there's only one A. I don't feel that at all.
Everything, Everything (2017)
A good watch~
It's difficult to rate a movie like this when you read the book first and have your own perception of how it is supposed to be played. And so, not be biased, I tried hard to pretend that I don't know the story as I watch it. I tried to pretend that I don't know what's going to happen next.
The Story: I love the story as it follows the book. I have nothing much to say about this.
The Cast: I like the casts but I somewhat do not feel what they are trying to come across. I watch it, I see what's happening. I follow the story line. But I don't feel anything.
Joker (2019)
A must watch!
I'd say that this movie is the best that I've seen this year. It took a turn from the cute and fun Joker that Jared Leto provided to a Mind blowing Joker of Joaqin Phoenix. It was stunningly beautiful, but very disturbing that I'm almost unable to finish half the movie. The cinematography is good if not the best, but what got me is Joaqin's movements, the expression on his face, the time of his breathing, and his eyes. I have stopped watching horror films because they fail to scare me. They just surprise me with sudden photos and loud music. This one literally gave me goosebumps and I had the creeps even after the show. For some weird reason, I was scared.
DC has been a disappointment for me for the past years. This one gave me hope for better DC movies. I think they should focus more on the villains.
Describe this move in one word: Haunting
Meitantei Conan: Tanteitachi no requiem (2006)
The best are here...
In this film, we have Shinichi Kudo(Conan), Heiji Hattori, Saguru Hakuba, and Kaido Kid <3 *This is more of a comment than a review, but whatever*
