Why oh why Ms Moretz ever accepted this script is beyond my comprehension. The fact that some production company even took this script to production is an insult to good writers out there that create real good content and cannot get their foot in the door. Chloe please please be more picky. You are a great actress and deserve much better stories than this.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

No dull moments / I think the casting was good.

I enjoyed watching this movie even after hearing and reading a lot of mixed reviews about it. It was good start to finish without any of those dull rabbit hole moments that some films suffer from. Everything that was there contributed to the story. A lot of reviews didn't give Alden Ehrenreich a stellar mention, however I think he was cast quite well for this movie and did an admirable job in recreating the personality of a YOUNG Hans Solo. Harrelson has become one of the best all time character actors in the business and did another great job in this movie. They left it open for a sequel and I look forward to seeing it if they make it.

Rosy (2018)

High Marks for Acting and Directing

Where can I begin. First off. The director did a lot with the little bit that she had at hand. She took relatively new actors like Johnny Knoxville and made them look like pros. Of course she could not have done it without their cooperation and effort so kudos to all involved. Second. The story is unique and believable at the same time. I do think the writing flowed well for the first 75% of the movie. I don't know if it was just my perception of it or if others would have the same experience, but it seemed like the writing took a turn down an ambiguous path and had me scratching my head. I felt like the flashbacks could have made more relative sense sooner in the movie. All in all this is a movie worth watching if you enjoy a unique story with good acting and direction. Make what you like of it and its ending. Whether you agree with the ending or not it was still a good story that you can get distracted from your everyday life by.
