Under the Stadium Lights (2021)
Soooo glad we watched this gem.
I had no idea what this movie was - my husband picked it out, so I had no preconceived expectations or notions at all.
Let's just say I'm not a huge football fan although I know enough and I can follow the plays. By the end of the movie, I was sitting on the edge of my seat, practically hitting my husband with excitement, as if we were in the stands.
What a pleasure to see teenagers with such beautiful values and morals (and faces and bodies. Oops - did I say that out loud?). And we really appreciated not being bombarded with offensive language.
Gee, they really do still make good movies.
The Connected Universe (2016)
For those who don't believe . . .
. . . maybe it's time to step out of the dark ages and do a little homework.
Here, I'll get you started . . .
In Nassim Haramein's paper, Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass, a prediction of the charge radius of the proton was confirmed with greater accuracy than any other theoretical framework. An experiment performed in 2013 by a team of scientists at the Paul Scherrer Institute, confirmed the prediction.
Nassim's paper "Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass" was published in the peer-reviewed journal Physical Review & Research International. This paper covered his precise calculations on the holographic mass/charge radius of the proton. His findings related to the fundamental physics driving gravitational effects from the cosmological scale to the quantum scale has massive implications on the understanding of the source of mass in our universe.
This theory was later scientifically confirmed when the proton radius was determined through the measurement of muonic hydrogen by an international team lead by Aldo Antognini and carried out at the Paul Scherrer Institute.
Superb film in every way.
God Friended Me (2018)
Can't wait for more episodes!
My husband and I watched this during lunch today and I'm so glad we did.
It was interesting, fun and left us wanting to see it again.
We absolutely loved the characters.
We hope the writers continue to keep it up-lifting. Shades of Eli Stone, Joan of Arcadia and ?
I plan to come back and re-review the show after I have seen more episodes.
Update: The second episode did not disappoint. In fact, it might have been even better than the first! Love this show.
Scorpion (2014)
Highly Entertaining
So what if most of the stuff is improbable, infeasible or down right impossible? The show is fun. It's often humorous. It's NEVER boring.
I am not looking for realism in a show like this. I want to be entertained. And this does that so well.
I especially like the development of the characters through the years.
We are disappointed that it got cancelled.
Darn.
