Mediocre at best
23 March 2023
Not sure where the 10s are coming from.... There's nothing besides maybe the songs that are a 10. To start off, I did enjoy the fresh pairing for Ranbir and Shraddha, they both looked amazing. The side from. This should probably be Bassi's last movie... The movie had wayyyy too many drawn out and long dialogues! It got super boring to keep hearing them talk so much. No one talks like that in real life. The locations were amazing, and it was nice to see a movie in a European location. The songs were really good, and have been on repeat for a couple months now! Overall, it was nothing spectacular, it could have been wayyyy better. I had higher expectations for sure.

Scream VI (2023)

Better than 5
11 March 2023
I'm a huge fan of the Scream franchise, and this was definitely worth a watch, but nothing can beat the first one. This one was certainly filled with suspense until the end, but Neve Campbell was missed tremendously. Courtney Cox barely had a role, and we all know of course what happened to Dewey in Scream 5. The actor that played Samantha's love interest was one of the worst actors I've seen in a movie, just brutal! Not sure why they casted him. The two main sisters did a great job, leading to some good scenes. I'm a huge fan of scream, but I think this should be the last one in the franchise. Nevertheless, go watch it for a fun night out at the movies!

One of Shahid's best performances
28 February 2023
As of late, it takes a lot for me to get into a show/movie/series etc, however Farzi captivated my attention from the get go. Bhuvan and Shahid's chemistry as best buds is great to watch. Rashi, Kay Kay, Vijay have done a tremendous job in their roles. I enjoyed the storyline, and many scenes kept me on the edge of my seat. It was cool to see the process it takes to make bills look real! Shahid has proven himself in many roles before, but this is definitely one of his best! I really hope there is a season 2 that the cast is already working on, as I can't wait to see what is next for Sunny and Firoz.

Eye candy to the max
5 February 2023
If you're going for a crazy storyline, don't bother. However, if you're going for entertainment and fun, this is the movie for you. Locations are great, cgi maybe not the best, but the action scenes are well done. I loved srks comeback, and all 3 stars looked and acted well! This is a movie you want to watch in the theatre, but once is totally fine. The movie isn't groundbreaking, but it's something to watch on a night one. Get some popcorn, leave logic behind, and enjoy the ride! I wont ruin it, but there's one scene and special appearance that totally makes the movie worth it. All the best to yrf and the spy universe.

Different story
21 October 2022
Leave it to Ayushmann to always come out with something different, yet enjoyable. I always look forward to watching his movies, because you know you will be seeing something that has not been done before. My husband and I really enjoyed watching this light hearted movie, which was funny, but also had its tear jerking moments. The music wasn't the best, which could have added to the overall movie experience, however the story and execution made up for it. The supporting cast was also fantastic from Shefali to Sheeba, and Rakul Preet also did a decent job. We really liked the character of Dr. Jenny as well. Definitely a great watch!

Extreme disaster
9 September 2022
I have been a Bollywood fan for years, and try to find something positive in movies; however it was very difficult to like anything about this one. The first Ek villain was amazing, great performances and the music still sticks with you. Ek villain returns on the other hand should never have been made. Each of the 4 main leads were brutal in their performances, and probably shouldn't continue to act. Some of the scenes were very cringy, and I could barely watch. John Abraham's good days are over, Arjun Kapoor can't do anything to revive his career, and Disha and Tara will never make it as great actresses by doing this garbage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Glad I didn't watch it in theatres
22 July 2022
I was really looking forward to this movie, as I really enjoyed good newws, however this movie was a complete letdown and a total waste of time. It was nice to see Neetu Singh back on screen, but I wish the movie was better to give justice to her return. Kiara was good, but Varun and Anil were too much, and don't even get me started on manish Paul's overacting. I'm so glad I caught this on Amazon prime and didn't waste my time in the theatre. Also, Bollywood really needs to put an end on remixing songs. It's time to get back original tracks.

Preview was better than the movie
10 April 2022
Watching the preview made me excited to go watch this movie in the theatre, however the preview exceeded the actual movie. Channing Tatum's acting is barely bearable. His comedy is not funny. Ryan Reynolds would have been a better casting. Brad Pitt did a good job in his cameo, and wow Sandra Bullock looks amazing for her age. The story was mediocre, and a few instances were funny, but it could have been better overall. However, if you want to let loose and enjoy a night out, it's not a terrible one time watch, but not anything to brag about.

Relatable series!
19 February 2022
What an incredible series numerous individuals can relate to. The storyline and characters are so likeable. I thoroughly loved watching the journey of these two families over the years. It is such a feel good show that makes you laugh and cry at the same time! I'm really sad that it's over, and hope there will be more shows like this!

Average Friday night watch
13 February 2022
This movie had some funny moments. Nothing too great, but not the worst either. Charlie Day was good as usual! Sometimes a decent romcom on a cozy Friday night is what you need... and this was decent enough.

Pure snooze fest
11 February 2022
Was looking forward to this one as I've always enjoyed Deepika's movies, and Siddhant is an up and coming star, but this one was a pure disappointment. Songs are not memorable, the acting was okay, but I was so bored for 2.5 hours. Nothing really interesting happening throughout the movie. I found myself waiting for the movie to end as quickly as possible. Kapoor and sons was amazing, however this Shakun Batra movie wasn't nearly as good.

Disappointing
24 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was 10 when the first scream came out. I watched it several times, it was a part of my childhood, therefore when the new scream was announced I was super excited and wanted to feel the nostalgia of the first, however I was pretty disappointed. The legacy characters were barely in it, and I did not like the fact that they killed off Dewey. The teenagers were super annoying, and the reason why the killers were the killers was ridiculous. They should have made Billy Loomis' daughter the killer. That would have been way better. They tried to replicate the first movie and it did not come across well. As a scream fan I had to watch it, but will not watch this one again.

High hopes
18 December 2021
I had such high hopes from the preview. Even my husband who doesn't watch too many desi shows was excited to watch this. However, the show did not live up to expectations, and was simply a time pass. There were some funny moments, but A LOT of weird scenes, and by the 4th episode we just wanted to be done, and were not even fully paying attention. This show could have had a lot of potential, but the different concept, charm, and humour we saw in the trailer did not exist in the series.

Decent binge but nothing great
30 November 2021
The show started off great. It was interesting and fresh. It was also nice to see Lara Dutta back on screen. I also really enjoyed Prateik's character, and the brother sister relationship Lara and Prateik had. That all being said, by the 5th episode the show got a little boring, and I simply just wanted to be done. I rushed through the remaining episodes, and was not impressed by the end. It could have finished off way better.

Inspirational film
28 November 2021
It was so nice to see Diljit do a role other than his over the top comedy. This role was emotional, genuine, and sincere, and he carried it really well. I loved the brother relationship between Diljit and Angad. Taapsee also did a great job. What an inspirational true story. Good quick watch.

Kevin Hart was great
28 November 2021
It was so nice to finally see Kevin Hart in a different role than a comedy. His comedy roles were getting old and boring. He should do more of these serious thriller roles. Nothing spectacular, but the story was decent, and it was a good show to binge in one day. Watch if you want to see Kevin Hart expand his acting horizons.

Great trip down memory lane
26 November 2021
This was a great Christmas movie that brought out all the feels, and made you feel nostalgic. I remember the craze and the hype around Nintendo, and it was such a privilege to have one. The storyline behind obtaining the Nintendo with a Christmas backdrop was really nice. Cute movie to watch during this time of year.

Not sure what the hype was about
25 November 2021
Shahid Kapoor plays his character really well. There are times I wanted to cheer for him, but also times where I hoped he got what's coming to him, because he is filled with so much anger and acts recklessly. Kiara doesn't have much scope, but does a decent job. Not sure what the point of the movie was. It reminded me of the movies in the 80s where parents are opposed to their grown children getting married to each other. I was happy with the ending, and glad things worked out for them, but it's definitely just a one time watch.

A little more would have been nice
25 November 2021
It was so nice to see Will Smith on screen again. Every actor in the movie did a wonderful job. Being a tennis fan and a huge fan of the Williams sisters it was great to see their story, and how their incredible tennis career was started, however by the end of the movie I was left wanting more. I thought the movie would go more into Serena's beginnings as well, and even more so into both their careers after juniors. Overall, it was a good one time watch.

Cute movie - Diljit is fantastic
24 November 2021
Diljit has done a great job, both with the emotional and comedy scenes. His son in the movie has also acted well. I enjoyed the different storyline the movie provided. The locations that the movie were shot at were also great, and way to represent Vancouver, Canada! That being said, I didn't think it lived up to the hype. It was a good one time watch, and I'm glad I watched it at home on Amazon instead of the theatre.

Rani and Saif's chemistry is worth the watch
22 November 2021
I will start off by admitting that the first one was better, there is no doubt, but I don't understand all the 1s this movie is getting for reviews. Saif and Rani are an amazing combo, and they bring some fun and excitement into the movie. Siddhanth and Sharvari also play their characters really well. Most of all, after almost 2 years this movie was great to watch in the theatre and forget about everything for 2+ hours. Just let loose, and enjoy. Don't think too much about it.

Cute weeknight watch
19 November 2021
I didn't know what to expect from this movie my husband suggested, but I thought I would give it a shot, and turns out, I was happily surprised. It was a different Christmas story, with some really heartfelt and funny moments. Definitely not a Christmas classic or anything, but certainly worth a comfy winter watch!

Cute Xmas movie
15 November 2021
My husband and I really enjoyed this movie. It was a little bit of a different storyline, which was a nice change. There was nothing spectacular about the movie, but it was a great one time Xmas watch. When watching it, don't think about part 1 and 2, and just think of this movie on its own. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, enjoy it for what it is. Grab a hot chocolate and have fun!

Was there even a storyline...?
30 August 2021
My husband and I were looking forward to watching this movie together at home, but unfortunately all the funny parts were in the previews. I was not even sure what the point of the movie was... I was waiting for the movie to pick up, but it didn't. There were a lot of nonsense scenes, and for me it didn't live up to my expectations. Disappointing for sure.

Ruining a classic
4 August 2021
We all know that space jam 1 was a classic. It was something we watched over and over as kids, and continued to do so throughout our adulthood giving us nostalgic vibes. However, space jam 2 wasn't nearly as good as the first. It was confusing, and the actual basketball game was unrealistic with crazy rules. Lebron was hilarious in train wreck, but he still needs some time and practice improving his acting skills. One more thing about the first was that the soundtrack was wayyyyy more memorable, which I still listen to today. I don't recall any song from the second that I would put on my playlist. Space jam 2 was just a one time watch.
