A film that manages to entertain.
3 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Creeper, the bat-winged monster from the first film is back again, and this time he lives in castle, full of dead bodies.

If one can ignore the film's more outlandish and unbelievable elements.

There is much to enjoy in this atmospheric sequel. The effects are first rate and the cinematography is simply stunning. Great use is made of the remote locale and no opportunity is wasted to make viewer jump.

The character of the Creeper is developed nicely, and he proves to be one genuinely unsettling movie monster, we have some good takes inside his truck.

Despite its flaws, the movie entertains, and that´s all we want, so grab the popcorn and let´s go.

impressive effort on a low budget.

The plot is very well made, as it's up to the audience to figure out the mystery of who got infected, no cliches at all.

The acting is outstanding as well, and doc is one hell of a character, great performance, i´ll will keep an eye on this guy´s career, from now on.

Partially based on H. P Lovecrafts mountains of madness this movie is everything I wanted.

The way this story unfolds is so organic, and on a perfect pace.

Has an easter egg of Alien Perfect 8.

Brilliant sequel
22 July 2019
I've seen this first movie over twenty times so far and it is still great. But this sequel is very special, it grabs you and never stops, the direction and editing are so tight and carefully done, managing to be both frightening and classy, this is a nerve-wrecking experience.

Decent Hellbox sequel
16 April 2019
Reasonably good performances from most cast members, visually tight direction from Rui Constantino, great make-up effects and lots of cool imagery (including a dream sequence that you're not likely to forget) Die-hard fans of the Hellbox series might be disappointed by the lack of more monsters and even the minions they have very few screen time, ) but if you're open-minded you might enjoy the movie for what it is.
