Paharganj (2019)
Waste of time
Worst film of the year. Do not waste time watching this film.
Piku (2015)
Great film to watch
This movie manages to achieve that magical, perfect combination of humour and sentiment. The casting is flawless, and so are the performances. A real gem of a film, one of the year's best.
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)
Action packed... brilliant
John Wick played by Keanu Reeves could be called best actor of the year. The movie has a lot of action and some comedy moments which makes it fun to watch. I'm looking forward to see the next chapter of John Wick. The movie is amazing and the long shots are great. Everything about this movie is great. The director of this movie knows what he's doing. Keanu Reeves remains perfection as the title character, a man of few words but lots of action The movie not only delivers constant action from start to finish, but also ends on a cliff hanger that sets up for a possible sequel to conclude the story line.
Hitman 2 (2018)
Flawless Execution
Hitman is at its best when it divorces itself from the on-screen violence and instead treats the experience like an absurdist playground. The sequel does this particularly well. Many of the game's more bare-bones completionist challenges, like killing your targets with a sniper rifle only or doing an entire mission in your signature suit without ever being seen, are aptly referred to as "the classics."
Green Book (2018)
The green book was just an amazing.
The development of the two men as they both haltingly move in a closer and closer relationship made this one of the most rewarding films of the last decade -- yes those times were difficult -- lived through them.
The chemistry between Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen is charming and captivating. A very heartfelt movie, that somehow came in short, through the lack in the depth exploration of Ali's character.
A lighthearted film which manages to touch on a couple of topics without over doing it and will almost definitely have you in tears by the end.
A moving feel-good story defined by the chemistry exhibited by the unusual leads. Surprising at every turn and entertaining. Perhaps too conveniently mushy at the end, but overall a great watch.
The Hurt Locker (2008)
A movie about the modern day bomb squad
A story about a frontline bomb disposal team set during the Iraq War, The Hurt Lock has plenty of tension and nail-biting moments. As a big war movie fan, I've seen my fair share of war films. This is one of those ones that sticks out from all those in recent memory. Most war films in recent memory are a lot more action heavy and gory, which there's nothing wrong with that. But this one focuses on the dirt and grind of what it's like to actually be in the middle of the Middle East. There's not a lot of firefights, but it's the constant fear that you'll die at any second. There's constantly the threat of bombs on the road and you never know what will happen.
Lupt (2018)
Worth a watch
As a viewer of horror genre i have seen many films which i couldn't watch it with my family but Lupt is something which you can watch it with your family members. It's a family horror. To see engaging cast like Javed Jaaferi and Vijay Raaz together on screen was one of the best combos. There are no dull scenes in the movie. The movie was properly executed. I really liked the concept of road trip horror. Also credits to the director for making a decent horror film and also to bring such new concept to the audience.
Spotlight (2015)
Good acting. Well made.
Perfectly executed praise of the power of the press. A stellar cast and flawless direction make for an engaging and highly entertaining result. It doesn't even take major shockers to make this such a satisfying and smart movie.
Forrest Gump (1994)
One of the best movies of all time
The movie was funny, fresh, and touching. Forrest's journey of his life was wonderful. And that is the point of this movie. This is a classic feel-good movie that even after seeing it over 10 times never gets old. The film has something for everyone. Tom Hanks is an excellent actor and his performance as playing disabled is very good. The only film which managed to trigger every emotion in my body.
The Revenant (2015)
masterpiece
This director is really good at most things. The Revenant is a prime example. An intense movie with some of the best cinematography imaginable and a phenomenal performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. The action scenes are very well done, especially the bear scene (that CGI tho). The action in this movie is actually pretty impressive. Its use of long takes, expertise cuts and camera angles, and great visuals makes each of them stand out.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018)
Unique
