1. Dunkirk (2017)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Drama, History

94 Metascore

Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Commonwealth and Empire, and France are surrounded by the German Army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Fionn Whitehead, Barry Keoghan, Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy

Votes: 739,900 | Gross: $188.37M

I can already hear fanboys bitching and whining about this. Sorry, folks. Believe it or not there are A LOT of people who absolutely hate this horrible, horrible movie. The first few shots of Saving Private Ryan are better in every possible way than the entire Dunkirk movie. And make no mistake! The main reason this horrible flick made money is because the lead is that kid from the boy band One Direction. Girls went to see this movie ONLY because of him. They don't give a rat's ass about the movie itself. Nolan knew his flick didn't stand a chance and that's why he casted that boy. There are many other reasons why this movie is so bad, but I don't have the time to list them all here. They're too many. And people know them anyway.....

2. Wonder Woman (2017)

PG-13 | 141 min | Action, Adventure, Fantasy

76 Metascore

When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny.

Director: Patty Jenkins | Stars: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis

Votes: 699,525 | Gross: $412.56M

Hilariously bad. Bad screenplay, bad villain, cheesy lines, cheesy characters, you name it. It's beyond obvious why this flick got so many positive reviews: critics and some audience members are trying to avoid feminism backlash and trying to appeal to feminists for popularity. The movie really is milking the girl power aspect for all it can, and the reviewers are no different. Sane people like me are honestly tired of tiptoeing around this extrreme PC culture. This is why Trump won. It's clear and very, very obvious that the only reason why Wonder Woman got so much positive feedback is because critics and reviewers are afraid from any negative backlash from the feminist community. Shame on them!

3. Get Out (I) (2017)

R | 104 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

85 Metascore

A young African-American visits his white girlfriend's parents for the weekend, where his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches a boiling point.

Director: Jordan Peele | Stars: Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Bradley Whitford, Catherine Keener

Votes: 696,470 | Gross: $176.04M

This one is ridiculous. A black filmmaker makes a movie about white folks experimenting with black people, during a time in this country when there's a quite a bit of REAL racial tension. And what do you know? The moronic critics praise the hell out of Get Out and some even call it one the best horror movies. Absolutely hilarious!! Not only is the flick utterly average and at times very amateurish, it's very, very bland, forgettable and it leaves you with....nothing. It's beyond obvious that the majority of the critics gave this flick great reviews EXACTLY because it's done by a black man (with heavy racial undertones) during a time with REAL racial tension in America. You can be sure that most of those critics - all of them white, btw - were simply afraid to REALLY review the movie. They were afraid that if they express how they REALLY feel they will receive heavy racially-charged backlash. But that's not an excuse. You either have the balls to express how you really feel or you better find a different job.

4. Rings (2017)

PG-13 | 102 min | Drama, Horror, Mystery

25 Metascore

A young woman finds herself on the receiving end of a terrifying curse that threatens to take her life in 7 days.

Director: F. Javier Gutiérrez | Stars: Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Vincent D'Onofrio

The first few minutes are good. After that, a disaster. I absolutely LOVE the 2002 Ring movie. It's one of the best, one of the scariest movies of all time. This one was ruined by the cliched "couple in trouble" storyline. It feels rushed, it feels empty, and the sense of dread is gone. Too bad......
