If Richard Linklater gets the job it will attract bigger named actors to star along side Jennifer(who will be lovely as Rosie).
The film should be based in Australia and I can see them working Rosie to be American rather than Australian.
I think it would be best to make Don a bit younger as I didn't see him as 39 in the novel and to have a better age connection to Jennifer(although it worked with Bradley Cooper).
They will make Stefan and Bianca bigger threats to Don and Rosie's relationship.
And if Linklater does get the job I suspect Ethan Hawke to be involved in someway.

Don- A tough one to picture, Jim and Eddie were what I imagined reading but they're both English. Jim has proven already he can speak Australian from previous films and by that I chose him as my top pick. Sam an up and coming actor and Joel(in my top 3 favorite actors) are both Australian which can't be overlooked.
