I know this anime since 2002 or when I was second grade of elementary school. This is most underrated anime ever i've seen. this should be more recognized, because this's very amazing aspects of this anime. why?

1.Storyline

the premise is simple, Gon wants to meet his father, Ging (legendary hunter). But, that's more interesting than that premise when you follow the series. Gon meets Killua, Kurapika, Leorio. That four friendship are so well-written on Hunter Exam Arc, their storyline are almost very perfect (yeah, Leorio still lacks of screentime).

Arcs :

a) YORKNEW ARC!!! BEST STORYLINE EVER. THAT OUTCLASSESS ALL MOVIE SCENES. CHROLLO, HISOKA, SHIZUKU, MACHI AND THE REST OF GENEI RYODAN. THEY'RE BEST VILLIAIN EVER FOR ME. Sorry I'm so over xD

b) also don't forget Zoldyck Arc that has gloomy aura, the determination of Gon, Kurapika, Leorio how to get Killua back, and also the developement of Zoldyck family history that interests me.

c) Heavens Arena Arc that introduction Nen, base power of this anime that's very unique and very different compare to other anime.

d) Greed Island Arc is second-best of Arcs just see Gon and Killua's friendship, also introduces Bisky, she's cute but very old, but she's amazing anime character. e) Chimera Ant Arc, eventhough some people dislike that arc, but i'm very likeeeee. Why? just see Meureum and Royal Guards developement, you'll be surprised. Also, just like ending theme (Two Sides of same Coin, the song that i love) connects Gon and Killua characters transformation (Gon turns ruthless and Killua turns open-person). Also, don't forget the fighting scene, so unpredictable. The supporting characters also have their own agendas. (Morel, Knov, Netero, Palm, Ikalgo, Knuckle, Meleoron, Shoot, Kite, etc.). Once again, this arc also has social and politics issue that can connect our real world xD

f) 13th Election : still amazing, if you're big fan of Killua. You get a perfect time of this arc. Alluka, deeper Zoldyck's family developement and Zodiac make this arc more interesting than I expected.

g) Dark Continent Arc : on progress but I CAN'T BE PATIENT when will Togashi-mangaka continue. Because I can see Kurapika, he's more amazing!!!!! and don't forget Leorio. we are also be introduced by Ging and Pariston ( two meanest characters in this arc, maybe)

h) Hunter Exam Arc : i won't talk about this arc because that just like another shounen in general but unexpected ending of this arc. hahahaha

2. Characters

SO well-written and developement characters of this anime. Not only Protagonists, supportings, but Villiains also have their story. I can't talk much about Hisoka, Chrollo and the rest of genei ryodan, and Meureum and the company xD, you can see them by yourself. and after you see them. I guarantee you that you can't hate them but love them

3. Artwork

its okay if the manga is bad because i don't like reading comics but Madhouse made this anime very amazing.

4. Sounds

ALL OF THE BGMs, Opening (yeah just one, but we have 1999 version. and that's Ohayou and another), Endings are very PERFECTTTTT. Especially Endings from Yuzu. ALL OF THAT ARE PERFECT from composing, vocals, etc. Okay, BGMs that i like are Emperor Time and RIOT!! (see ep 51 HXH 2011 Version and you will see how amazing that is)

5. Overall

200/100. Okay i can't give over 100. but whatever, because this anime is more than perfect. VERY RECOMMENDED!! Let's watch and you will feel rollercoaster (Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Angry.. okay not to mention In*ide O*t)

I knew this movie when my sister jokingly said "you had to watch #1 movie on IMDb". Okay, I'll try and thennn......

THIS DESERVES #1 MOVIE ON IMDb AND ALL MOVIE SITES.

The way Andy Dufresne does, I'm still keep my eye-on at screen when I watched this.

NO COMMENT about directing, writing, music, etc and especially Acting-wise. Because that all more than just an amazing!!!!

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Elliot Page, Ken Watanabe

Votes: 2,550,368 | Gross: $292.58M

Nolan's movie that most I loved.

just like Shawshank Redemption level from all aspects but I like TSR more because that movie has more moral-value. hehehe

4. Gone Girl (2014)

With his wife's disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it's suspected that he may not be innocent.

Votes: 1,067,140 | Gross: $167.77M

MY TOP 4 AND BEST 2014 MOVIE EVER.

DIRECTING, ACTING, AND THE REST OF CREW ARE DOING SUPER AMAZING JOB. Especially, Rosamund Pike as Amy Elliot-Dunne. She's easily my top 3 characters ever. (Behind Andy Dufresne and Chun Song Yi). I watched this movie more than 20 times because i just wanna see my Amy Dunne xD

5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

PG-13 | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

70 Metascore

Directors: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo | Stars: Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford

Votes: 898,955 | Gross: $259.77M

after you see my Hunter X Hunter review, you'll get my point of this movie. But this movie still lacks of villiain compared to Hunter X Hunter. Action, Plot and Jokes are well-balanced. This is my best marvel movie everr!!!

6. Assassination (2015)

Director: Dong-hoon Choi | Stars: Jun Ji-hyun, Lee Jung-jae, Ha Jung-woo, Oh Dal-su

Votes: 7,934 | Gross: $1.90M

This movie is very amazingggggggg. But lacks of running time and too many characters :( I love Jun Ji hyun's acting in here. Badass!!!!! and unforgettable. and don't forget Hawaii Pistol, one of most interesting characters, cool and free-spirit xD. but i'm surprised of Lee Jungjae's acting. He's amazing and well-portrayed of Yeom Suk Jin :O

supportings characters also build the film-vibe. Gags and Ruthless characters make this movie even more amazing

oh yeah. Crews who make the effects and vintage-vibe are very thumbs up (y)

7. The Thieves (2012)

Not Rated | 135 min | Action, Comedy, Crime

Director: Dong-hoon Choi | Stars: Kim Yoon-seok, Lee Jung-jae, Kim Hye-su, Jun Ji-hyun

Votes: 11,547 | Gross: $0.69M

all people said this movie just like rip-off of Ocean's Trilogy. But, thats wrong for me. Why? Because this movie's more character developement and well-written subplot when Ocean's Trilogy has more action.

You have to compare this movie with Ocean's trilogy like just compare Hunter X Hunter and other Shounen. When HxH has more developement plots and characters, Shounens have more emotional-action like explosions and destructions effects although make no sense and repetitive

JUN JI HYUN AS YENICALL!!! AMAZINGGGGGGG

Do Min-Joon, an alien that came to our planet 400 years ago, will be able to return to his planet in 3 months, but when he meets famous actress Chun Song-Yi, all the centuries he spent distancing himself from humans come to an end.

Stars: Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Soo-hyun, Park Hae-Jin, Yoo In-na

Votes: 15,904

lower-level of Gone Girl. You know why i put this TV show into #9? because this show is amazing just of JUN JI HYUN AS CHEON SONG YI. okay directing and crews who builds the fantasy and sci-fi mode are amazing. But, Jun Ji hyun is the icon of this show. CHUN SONG YI is 4-dimensional characters, compared to Amy Dunne,Chun Song Yi's the bright and funny side. They're like black and white xD ( when Songyi is the white and Amy is the black )

yeah, unfortunately, male lead and supporting characters are VERRRRRYYYY overshadowed by Jun Ji hyun as Chun Song Yi :( but, Jun Ji hyun's acting as Chun Song Yi alone make me don't think twice to put this show into #9 xD hahahaha.

Director: Joss Whedon | Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner

Votes: 1,459,183 | Gross: $623.28M

middle-lower of Hunter X Hunter for me. Because after you see Hunter X Hunter, especially Hisoka, Chrollo and Pariston, you can see how stupid Loki and Thanos are. (sorry no bashing but that's real for me). but i love this movie because action, plot and jokes are well-balanced eventhough still lacks compared to Captain America: The Winter Soldier
