Realistic fantasy & SF movies in chronological order. Movies with smart main characters. Movies for intelligent people.
by primeval_angel | created - 14 Jun 2022 | updated - 1 month ago | PublicGuidelines:
• The story/world must be fictional and include some sort of supernatural phenomena or entities.
• Main or second characters must have critical thinking (be very rational and not make decisions based on feelings).
• All characters' personalities must be realistic (if no one in history would think and behave like that character, under all the same exact circumstances as in the movie, then it is not realistic).
• The story must be realistic (characters can have super-powers or not, there can be 1-2 rare events, but otherwise events should unfold realistically within the constraints of that world, without multiple rare events (with low chance of happening), like bad decisions followed by lucky outcomes).
List is sorted chronologically.
