Exclusive: Filippo Scotti, the Italian actor known for his critically acclaimed breakout role in the Paolo Sorrentino film The Hand of God, has signed with Artist International Group for management.
The 2021 drama set in 1980s Naples had Scotti playing Fabietto, a football-loving kid whose uncertain but promising future as a filmmaker is shaped when a family tragedy strikes. When it made its world premiere at the 78th Venice Film Festival, he found himself recognized with the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Emerging Actor.
The up-and-coming actor is currently featured in Prada’s Men’s Fall Fashion 2022 campaign, alongside Oscar- and Emmy-winner Rami Malek, Jeff Goldblum, Damson Idris, Asa Butterfield and more.

During his lengthy career as an agent, David Unger saw there was a future in representing actors from the growing international marketplace. That’s what led to the creation of the Artist International Group in 2019.
Judging by the success of everything from Shang-Chi and Lupin, to Parasite, Narcos, Squid Game, Money Heist and Fauda—and the flood of talent those projects introduced to Hollywood—the move has certainly been validated. Unger and other reps who have leaned into global talent management are finding their clients in high demand, thanks to the need by streamers with stagnant domestic subscription growth to make indigenous series and films.
“I spent 25 years nurturing international voices, and they have never mattered more in this streaming economy,” says Unger, whose international sensibilities came from growing up in London and observing the business from that side of the pond. His father produced Don’t Look Now, and his...

Lupin Part 2, the highly-anticipated five-episode second half of Netflix’s hit French series has been set for a June 11 global release. The thriller also has a new trailer which picks up after Part 1’s cliffhanger finale and sees Omar Sy’s Assane Diop having become “the most wanted man in France” (check it out above).
Sy stars as Diop who uses the world famous gentleman thief and master of disguise, Arsène Lupin, as his inspiration. Diop’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini (Hervé Pierre) has torn his family to pieces, and now with his back to the wall, he must come up with a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.

Netflix's Lupin is coming back! The French heist thriller first premiered on Jan. 8, 2021 and quickly broke streaming records as fans binge-watched the series. Since there are only five episodes, it goes without saying that people are ready for more. Thankfully, the story isn't over yet.
During the credits at the end of the fifth episode, Netflix confirms a part two is "coming soon." As if that wasn't exciting enough, the remaining episodes have already been filmed. In May, Netflix announced that the series will officially return on June 11. They also shared the official trailer, and let's just say, it looks intense. There are plenty of twists and turns that await us. Part 2 will consist of five more episodes, which were directed by Ludovic Bernard and Hugo Gélin. Seeing that season one ends on a few major cliffhangers, we are more than eager to jump back into the series next month.

The distributor has high hopes for its Australian acquisitions which run the gamut of genres from drama, horror and Western to sci-fi.
“We’re passionate about overcoming the cultural cringe that Australian audiences still have a tendency to display and are dedicated to fostering new Australian talent,” Umbrella head of acquisitions Ari Harrison tells If.
“As a small, close-knit team, we aim to concentrate our efforts on films that we love and can support from the ground up. We want to work hand-in-hand with the filmmakers with the goal of getting their film ‘out there’ so that it finds its audience.
“Essentially we aim to ensure that the films we acquire have the capacity for national theatrical success in Australia and New Zealand, with potential for continued growth via their ancillary platforms.
