Teen dramas aren't just for teens anymore. In 2022, "Euphoria" became HBO's second most-watched series ever, and season 3 of Mindy Kaling's comedy-drama "Never Have I Ever" continued to attract a massive audience of viewers of all ages. The genre simply continues to expand, to the delight of its many fans.
Perhaps teen dramas persist because becoming an adult is a universally complex stage of life. In her book "Teen TV," Dr. Stefania Marghitu writes, "Certain narrative elements present themselves in nearly every teen series: the protagonist feels alienated from the adolescent world she is on the threshold of entering. This conflict is intertwined with a passionate story of first love and new discoveries during the transition from child to adult." Even for viewers who are no longer teens, the thrills, pains, and misunderstandings of youth aren't too difficult to remember.

Zap2it is starting a new weekly feature and basically we're asking ourselves, "If we could only watch one thing this week, what would it be?"
In some cases, we're welcoming back old friends such as Ricky Gervais's U.S. debut on "The Office" and the U.S. premiere of "Being Erica." In other cases, we just Need to know what goes down as with "Pretty Little Liars," "Supernatural," and "Castle." Whatever the reason, we'll be sure to be on our couch and tweeting a storm when our picks are airing. We'd be thrilled if you joined us!

The TV series Being Erica - which premiered two days ago on the Canadian TV network CBC - has always given us so much surprises. I had a phone interview with Erin Karpluk, the show's leading lady, and she told me what we should expect from the third season.
Obviously, my aptitudes in English pronunciation were rusty because I haven't spoken a word in English to someone on a regular basis for three years. Anyway, the interview was a pleasant experience.
Anh Khoi Do: Now that this season's opener revealed that a group therapy was waiting for Erica behind the mysterious door, how did you react when you learned that Erica will be going through a group therapy?
Erin Karpluk: Well, through the group therapy, Erica not only gets to have a session with Dr. Tom, but she also shares her experience with people she can relate to because...

CBC, a Canadian TV network, announced that its hit original series Being Erica's third season will premiere Tuesday, September 21 at 9 Pm. This premiere happens to be one week after the release of the show's second season on DVD on September 14.
Those who have seen the second season knows that Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a thirty-two-year-old woman from Toronto, broke up with her boyfriend, Ethan Wakefield (Tyron Leitso). Besides, she got fired from her job as a junior editor at River Rock, a publishing house along with her boss (and also friend), Julianne Giacomelli (Reagan Pasternak). As the second season's cliffhanger suggested it, Erica and Julianne have decided to found a publishing house of their own.
Brent Kennedy (Morgan Kelly), Erica's and Julianne's former colleague, is now the editor at River Rock. Because he holds a grudge against Erica and Julianne, he'll stop at nothing to put them out of business.

Although CBC, a Canadian public TV network, hasn't formally made an announcement, The Cultural Post has a strong proof that the TV series Being Erica got renewed for a third season. Therefore, this is not an attempt to spread a rumour on the net.
First of all, according to the Ontario Media Development Corporation (Omdc), the third season of this show created by Jana Sinyor will be in production from May 17 to October 15.
Moreover, since there's no formal announcement of CBC that The Cultural Post can speak of, this also means that there are no details about the third season's story. Nonetheless, if any of you don't know what Being Erica is all about, here's a description of the synopsis.
Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk) is a woman of 32 years old. Since the events of the first season, she has been in relation with Ethan Wakefield (Tyron Leitso), a school teacher.

Do You Ever Wish You Could Have A Do-Over? Up next Wednesday March 10 is Episode 208 - "Under My Thumb" . Catching Ethan in a compromising position forces Erica to face problems in her sex life, on a new episode of "Being Erica." Past episodes saw "your average 33 year-old" Erica's do-over day with Dr. Tom, where Kai and Erica kissed, and created lots of awkwardness for Erica and which Kai doesn't remember. Erica's tempetuous boss Julianne (Reagan Pasternak) is unaware that Julianne's author boyfriend Friedken (Jeff Seymour) is messing around with the office staff. So what's Erica to do? Tell Julianne and possibly get shot as the messenger or let Julianne know that Friedken is...
