While there are many brilliant and weird shows on streaming and television, Josh Brolin‘s Outer Range has to be one of the most bizarre series. Created by Brian Watkins, the Prime Video series takes a lot of big leaps to tell its brilliant story which spans multiple genres. Outer Range follows many things like the rivalries of a ranching community, family drama, and most interesting of all time travel. While there are not many shows that are like Outer Range some of the aspects of the series are going to feel similar to many shows you have seen. So, if you loved the recently released second season and don’t know what to watch until Season 3 comes out we have got you covered with these similar shows you should check out.

This post contains spoilers for the finale of "Justified: City Primeval."
When "Justified: City Primeval" signed off last night, the limited series finale was expected to be the final word on Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant). After all, fans of the straight-shooting, contemplative modern cowboy got six seasons with the character, plus a surprise bonus in the form of the revival series -- an adaptation of an Elmore Leonard story that didn't originally feature Raylan. And isn't that enough? Wouldn't it be greedy for us to ask for more time in this stylish, thrilling world?
Not according to the show itself. In an exhilarating surprise epilogue, "Justified: City Primeval" ended with a fantastic cliffhanger, bringing crime kingpin (and Raylan's ex-friend) Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) back into the fray in typical over-the-top fashion and putting an immediate question mark on the end of Raylan's early retirement. The final scene,...

Fans of the FX series Justified were fortunate enough to get six prodigious seasons of one of the best neo-Westerns ever put on television from 2010-2015. The show’s critical success was in no small part due to the stellar supporting cast throughout its run. Fans not only gravitated towards Timothy Olyphant’s Kentucky-fried charm as the no-nonsense Raylan Givens, but found a connection with the men and women Raylan worked with, the women he loved, and the larger-than-life outlaws he came across.
It will surprise many to hear that Justified: City Primeval barely even mentions Kentucky, or the characters that were a part of Raylan’s life for those six years. Kentucky is far behind Raylan, and that includes his long term fraternal-nemesis, Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) who isn’t a part of this limited series. There is no mention of Art (Nick Searcy), Tim (Jacob Pitts) or Rachel...

This The Blacklist review contains spoilers.
The Blacklist Season 10 Episode 3
In typical The Blacklist fashion, “The Four Guns” doesn’t refer to firearms. Rather, the four individuals who are on Raymond Reddington’s (James Spader) blacklist this week are goniffs, Yiddish for “thieves.” These are not your run of the mill pickpockets. After all, they move through Senator Cynthia Panabaker’s (Deirdre Lovejoy) re-election speech at the park as an “apex predator,” a single organism of coordinated effort that manages to deftly swipe two guns, a radio, and a cell phone off of the two Secret Service men tasked with protecting Panabaker from malcontents. One of those secret service weapons is the one that fires at Panabaker but hits one of her agents in the shoulder instead.
A goniff is not a murderer, but a sly trickster who takes what belongs to another while fearing flesh and blood and eluding discovery at all cost.

Having been off the air for about eight years now, the neo-noir world of "Justified" is coming back to television with "Justified: City Primeval," a miniseries based on Elmore Leonard's 1980 novel. The Emmy Award-winning original series, which ran for over six seasons, starred Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, and featured a supporting cast including Joelle Carter, Nick Searcy, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, and Walton Goggins.
"City Primeval" takes place many years after the 2015 series finale, with Raylan having left his life in Kentucky for Miami, where he's committed to raising his teenage daughter, Willa (now played by Vivian Olyphant), while trying to juggle his Marshal duties. But an incident on a Florida highway prompts a trip to Detroit, where he faces a new challenge in the deadly Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), also known as "The Oklahoma Wildman." Sandwiched in-between mega-hits "The Bourne Identity" and "Ocean's Eleven" and their sequels, Matt Damon made an oft-forgotten, highly curious cameo in a teen sex comedy. The 2004 film "EuroTrip" came at the height of the popularity of millennial teen comedies in the early 2000s that included "American Pie" and "Mean Girls." In "EuroTrip," high school angst overcomes Scotty (Scott Mechlowicz) when he is unceremoniously dumped by his girlfriend on the night of their high school graduation, leading him and his best friend Cooper (Jacob Pitts) to Europe in search of his pen pal crush.

Slovak documentarian Tereza Nvotova, who has confronted corruption and politics in past films such as 2017’s “The Lust for Power,” found herself beached in New York during the Covid-19 outbreak in the spring, unable to return legally to her home in the Czech Republic with her partner, American actor Jacob Pitts. Then she got an assignment from public broadcaster Czech TV to film the city and how its people were faring.
Screening at Ji.hlava Film Festival (you can watch it here) as one of several docs made during the pandemic, each embracing a different perspective and style, “New York City in the Time of Covid-19” is a powerful, funny and poignant short in which Nvotova conscripts her friend Peter to take her out on interviews via motorcycle to avoid virus-infested public transit.

Despite being touted as an impressive streaming performer, Sneaky Pete has been given the axe from Amazon.
Sneaky Pete was unable to grift itself another season on Amazon Prime Video, which has canceled the series.
The series, the co-creation of Bryan Cranston and David Shore, launched on the streaming platform on August 7, 2015. It starred Giovanni Ribisi as Marius Josipovic, a smart, seedy con man who, initially upon his release from prison, dodges a debt to a dangerous gangster (Cranston) by posing as his cellmate, Pete Murphy, using all the stories he’s been told to ingratiate himself to the Bernhardts, Pete’s long-estranged Connecticut-based family, who run a bail bonds business. However, as we witness over the course of three seasons, Marius/Pete instinctually grifts his way out of problems; a practice that’s usually successful, but tends to spawn more problems and compounds others.

Amazon has released the first photos from Homecoming, its high-profile psychological thriller series starring Julia Roberts and directed by Mr. Robot‘s Sam Esmail. Have a look below.
Amazon made a straight-to-series two-season order for Homecoming nearly a year ago, amid a very competitive situation. Here’s the logline: Heidi Bergman (Roberts) is a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, a Geist Group facility helping soldiers transition back to civilian life. Walter Cruz (Stephan James) is one of these soldiers, eager to begin the next phase of his life. Overseeing Heidi and the facility is Colin Belfast (Bobby Cannavale), an ambitious company man whose manic demands point to questionable motives.
Four years later, Heidi has started a new life, living with her mother (Sissy Spacek) and working as a small-town waitress, when a Department of Defense auditor (Shea Whigham) comes to her with questions about why she left the Homecoming facility.

[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from “Part VII,” the penultimate episode of “The Sinner.”]
“The Sinner” laid out almost all of its secrets neatly on the table, much like the lines of coke that Cora (Jessica Biel) and her friends snorted during the worst party ever. The penultimate episode of the USA Network mystery answered some of the biggest questions that have been plaguing the show ever since Cora stabbed Frankie (Eric Todd), someone she thought she had never met, but ultimately had a very dark past with.
In an episode that was entirely a flashback to that fateful July night in 2012, Cora is guilted into bringing her sickly sister Phoebe (Nadia Alexander) out to a bar and later to a party with Cora’s boyfriend J.D. (Jacob Pitts). They all end up at the elite Beverwyck Club, the place with the distinctive wallpaper in Cora’s memories, and there, they meet med student Frankie for the first time.

Distill the guilt, pain and trauma of a horrific crime into song form and you’ll probably get something close to “Huggin & Kissin.”
Over the course of seven episodes, the percussive, persistent electronic onslaught of Big Black Delta’s catchiest, eeriest song is one of the secret weapons of USA’s summer hit show “The Sinner.” Though the song has been a part of the show from the beginning, most notably as the soundtrack to the beach stabbing that kicks off the show’s story, Wednesday night’s “Part VII” finally revealed the song’s true connection to the plot.

Justified, Season 6, Episode 2: “Cash Game”
Written by Dave Andron and VJ Boyd
Directed by Dean Parisot
Airs Tuesdays at 10pm Et on FX
Truth be told: not a hell of a lot happens in “Cash Game.” Despite the fact that it only has eleven more episodes to go after this one, Justified is still Justified, and this has never been a series that’s felt the need to hurry up its seasons’ first acts. Instead, it uses its time to sell us on this season’s cast of rogues, as well as indulging in a pleasant number of comic asides, reminding us that, at its core, Justified is a fun series, though that has been difficult to remember throughout some of its recent, darker patches.

The final season of "Justified" starts this week on FX. Even if I didn't love (or like) the fifth season, it's still a show I've valued a lot over the years and I'll miss it. For the final "Justified" press tour panel on Sunday (January 18), we're getting Graham Yost, Fred Golan, Tim Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Joelle Carter, Nick Searcy, Erica Tazel, Jacob Pitts, Jere Burns, Mary Steenburgen, Sam Elliott. Click through and follow along... Note that critics have seen three "Justified" Season 6 episodes. Any extra-spoiler-y questions won't get live-blogged... Don't worry too much. 3:10 p.m. Pacific. The panel has been delayed so that we can watch the end of the football game on the big ballroom screens. "Jesus Christ," Timothy Olyphant yells as the Seahawks convert the two. 3:18 p.m. As the game goes into overtime, Olyphant has to go backstage and we're starting the panel. He's displeased.

Sam Elliott ("Tombstone," "Ghost Rider") and Garret Dillahunt ("Deadwood," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles ") have joined the cast of the sixth and final season of FX's "Justified" which begins airing in January.
Elliott plays Markham, a legendary Kentucky gangster who returns from exile with a private army, a lot of cash, and a determination to win back his empire and lost love Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen). Katherine herself secretly believes Markham brought down her husband and sets out to thwart him.
Dillahunt will play Walker, a special ops veteran who has spent most of the last decade in combat zones. Now he uses his skills handling security for a quasi-legal businessman, and ultimately he becomes irritated by Raylan and Boyd.
The pair join returning cast members Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins, Joelle Carter, Jere Burns, Nick Searcy, Jacob Pitts and Erica Tazel.

Few shows have kept themselves fresh, while having to reinvent themselves with every season, and kept their audiences so engrossed, the way FX‘s Justified has managed. While the main cast has stayed the same, the necessities of managing to win out in the end has meant that characters have to come and go. When you have to keep things realistic, and quickly build a solid tension that makes sense to the overall structure, shuffling people in and out isn’t as easy as it might seem.
Last season, Michael Rappaport proved just how adept the writers are, and how committed the show is to getting the right people involved.
Having a wide range of talent held together by Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins, makes for a great starting point, but with the kind of multi-episode (or whole season) arcs the show needs, the additions are crucial to keeping the show going.

Sherlock Holmes will soon find a new ally: Justified star Jacob Pitts will guest-star in an upcoming episode of Elementary, EW has learned exclusively.

Debuting in 2010, Justified has been a solid ratings performer for FX . Will that trend continue or will the numbers fall this season? Stay tuned to find out.

The explosives have begun to go off in the “Year of the Crowes” FX’s Justified with just two episodes left. Art Mullen’s (Nick Searcy) been shot and his deputies need to step up while he lies on a hospital bed in critical condition. Raylan Given’s (Timothy Olyphant) struggle with the Crowe family reached the point of no return, as has the partnership between Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns). Oh and Ava (Joelle Carter) has just asserted herself as an alpha in the prison system and builds her own criminal rep. Five years in, Justified continues to help lead the pack of superb television and as always there are plenty of cogs in motion, and we’ve got Executive Producer/Showrunner Graham Yost on board to talk about this current and next year’s final season, how their writer’s room is unique, and...

What's coming up on "Justified" as it heads into its final season that begins this fall? Ava (Joelle Carter) gets out jail -- that was confirmed by producer Dave Andron at the Television Academy panel I moderated on Wednesday night -- but she may have boosted prominence in story lines that focus on the series' original trio. Timothy Olyphant said that he hopes the final season has special emphasis on those characters that launched the pilot episode back in March, 2010: Ava, Raylan (Olyphant) and Boyd (Walton Goggins). His touching thoughts on the matter are among the highlights of the panel chat -- along with the interplay between Olyphant and Goggins about the Raylan-vs.-Boyd conflict on "Justied." Also participating in the discussion: Fred Golan (executive producer), Nick Searcy (Art Mullen), Jacob Pitts (Tim Gutterson), Erica Tazel (Rachel Brooks) and Jere Burns (Wynn Duffy). -Break-...

It has been ten years since EuroTrip, riding the raunchy teen comedy revival of the late ’90s and early naughts, burst into theaters and exposed an entire generation of teens to a beach full of dangling male genitalia. And even a decade later, those involved with the cult classic are still proud of it — every sex organ included.
At least, that was the vibe taken away from the audience Wednesday night in Hollywood, where cast members Scott Mechlowicz (“Scotty”), Jacob Pitts (“Cooper”), Michelle Trachtenberg (“Jenny”), Travis Wester (“Jamie”) joined producers Jeff Schaffer, Alec Berg, and David Mandel and several others for a Q&A session.

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t watched this week’s episode of Justified, “Over the Mountain,” written by Taylor Elmore and directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton, stop reading now. As he’ll do throughout the season, showrunner Graham Yost takes us inside the writers room.
Entertainment Weekly: Dewey Crowe (Damon Herriman) took Wade Messer (James Le Gros) into the woods to essentially dig his own grave, though this being Dewey, it didn’t go according to plan.
Graham Yost: Man, we went back and forth on whether or not that scene would be at the end of episode 3 . How much do we set it up?...

Diane Haithman contributes to Deadline’s TCA coverage. Updated, 3 Pm: There were plenty of plot and story questions about what’s in store for the sprawling ensemble of characters on the FX series Justified at today’s TCA. A few tidbits from Ep Graham Yost: “You will see the Harris brothers again. I’m not going to tell you who you’re not going to see again.” The current fifth season will be a big season for the character of Art Mullen (Nick Searcy). In Season 6, expect more on the relationship of Rachel Brooks (Erica Tazel) and Tim Gutterson (Jacob Pitts). What a great time to be a TV junkie. NBC’s “Community” is back in prime form with the return of Dan Harmon. HBO launches the incredible “True Detective” on Sunday and “Sherlock” returns stateside next weekend. There’s enough quality out there that FX’s “Justified” could get lost in the shuffle. Don’t let that happen.
With a smart pair of season-opening episodes, “Justified” is back with its complex blend of humor, action, wit, and southern charm. As the writers do every season, the tone has been tweaked again this year, resulting in a start that feels darker, deadlier, and more dangerous than the last few seasons. This is great TV.
Television Rating: 4.5/5.0

Sometimes it's pretty fun to live vicariously through the characters we see on the big screen, especially when those characters are young, pretty, spoiled, and living it up in the L.A. party scene, like the privileged socialite wannabes in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring."
Newcomer Katie Chang stars as Rebecca, the group's ringleader/chief sociopath who's obsessed with Lindsay Lohan. Israel Broussard ("Flipped") is her doting, anxiety-ridden Bff Marc, while Emma Watson ("Harry Potter"), Taissa Farmiga ("American Horror Story") and Claire Julien round out the posse.
The pretty young things embark on a series of incredibly brazen home robberies. They target celebs whose closets they want to raid, including Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Audrina Patridge and Megan Fox, and use online gossip rags to figure out who's going to be out of town, and when.
The most remarkable thing about this stylized tale is that it's based on a true story.

Last week’s penultimate episode of Justified seemingly tied everything in a nice little bow, for the most part. Everything was swiftly and cleanly dealt with. Drew Thompson was in police custody and Ellen May was rescued from a death at the hands of Boyd and Ava and the Detroit mob lost out to the wit and brain power of our gunslinger. But, because all of season four has been chess pieces moving up and down the board in the background of the Shelby/Drew mystery, it all had to come to a head. And it blew over big time because ‘Ghosts’ is one of the most intense hours of Justified in a long line of intense hours that the show has logged under it’s belt.

The Season 4 "Justified" finale airs April 2 at 10 p.m. Et on FX, and tensions have reached their boiling point between Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and the Detroit mob, with Raylan's pregnant ex-wife Winona (Natalie Zea) caught in the crossfire.
The Huffington Post caught up with Olyphant back in January to discuss the trajectory of the season and his experience filming the critically acclaimed series, which was recently renewed for a fifth season. There are no spoilers below, but Olyphant, who is also an executive producer on "Justified," shared some fascinating insight into both the production of the show, Raylan's dynamic with his longtime rival, the inimitable Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), and what about the show keeps challenging him, even after four years.

The main thrust of this season has been all about finding Drew Thompson before the Detroit mob does, and while it took up almost all of the screen time thus far, they’ve still left room for littler plots to flutter about in the background allowing the story to take on a richer tone, and liven Harlan County up. And now here in this penultimate episode, they’re taking this moment to tie up the little strands for a neat little package as everything winds on down.
Everything is all about Ellen May. All the points align there.
First, the Marshals get a much different target to track down. They need Ellen because Shelby’s using her to gum up his testimony about his Drew Thompson past. It’s...

‘Decoy’ is an amalgamation of every single great Western/action thriller that ever existed. It’s reminiscent of “The Gauntlet” or “Rio Bravo.” Plain and simple, it’s lean effective thriller and so fast paced, that by the end of the hour, you get whiplash. It’s a breathless continuation of the events set up in ‘Get Drew,’ and gives the events of ‘Decoy’ the feel of those aforementioned films. And it even allowed for time to throw in some of the little long running arcs of the season. Overall, the episode is broken into neat portions that propel everything forward very crisply.

‘Get Drew’ effectively continued propelling the plot and the revelations that were brought forth in ‘The Hatchet Tour.’ If anything, it’s starting to feel like a movie in the way that the story is beginning to feel like it’s in its own continuum, rather than an episode ending in one spot and then picking up days later. No, they leave you in the immediacy of the reveal and the immediacy of the search beginning, and giving you a sense of how the show has moved from the who of Drew Thompson is and now the how to find him before he gets dead. It’s actually balanced quite well throughout, going between Drew/Shelby, Raylan and the Marshals and finally Boyd and the Dixie Mafia, and most of all of it,...

So on the latest Justified, “The Hatchet Tour,” we finally discovered the true identity of the infamous fugitive Drew Thompson. Did we really care who Drew Thompson really was? Not really. Though, my goodness, his true identity truly was a surprise. And the episode as a whole – written by Taylor Elmore and Leonard Chang, and directed by TV great Leslie Linka Glatter) – really, really delivered. It was well-paced, packed with important happenings, snappy dialogue… and was Justified doin’ Justified right. I’ll get to Drew Thompson later… but if any of you read my Justified feature on a weekly basis, you probably know that I love Marshal Tim Gutterson (always played with cutie pie wise-ass perfection by Jacob Pitts). So to start an episode with him? Thank you – finally! At long last, Tim seems to have a real subplot all his own as he is called upon in the wake of the murder of his druggie war...

Those words spoken by Raylan quoting his recently, but not so dearly departed father speaks loudly about what tack Raylan Givens uses in his course as a Us Marshal. In ‘Outlaw,’ we really see the stakes that can be raised in this seemingly fruitless hunt for Drew Thompson. In a way, it’s like watching the chess pieces move around and around, although it isn’t as boring as you would think it to be. In fact, it’s all about the vicious cunning that all criminals and lawman possess in Harlan County. It made for a damn tense episode and a great mark for how this season’s being handled, while keeping the personal slant that this season has been inundating on the viewer.
Anything involving Boyd Crowder this week was expertly done. Again, it’s that motif of showing just how smart the criminals can be despite the aura of low-rent conniver they can give off.

The renegade style of justice is back when Justified: The Complete Third Season is released on DVD on February 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The modern-day, gun-slinging police drama stars Timothy Olyphant (TV’s “Deadwood”) as the rugged, old-school U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, along with Walton Goggins (TV’s “The Shield”) as career criminal Boyd Crowder. ‘Money Trap’ was a strange sort of episode, bouncing back and forth between strange scenes of comedy and flat-out scenes of menace and suffice to say, it’s an odd duck in that sense. It was still an enjoyable episode in every way balancing the overarching Drew Thompson storyline with bits of plot left over from earlier in the season, namely the premiere. But the tone during most of the proceedings was just off ever so slightly. Dan: The emotional ending between Boyd and Ava. I would love to see these two get out of the game. Other parents being okay with their kids' hanging out with Crowder kids is a dream of mine as well.
Carla: Boyd's proposal to Ava. It's my favorite scene from the season so far. It was honest, heartfelt, and perfect. It's amazing how far they have come since Ava killed Boyd's brother. Yep, remember back then? I adore Boyd and Ava. His plan for their future was touching and enlightening. I'd love to see them transition to a respectable life.

Justified has been one of FX's most successful shows in the ratings. Will the series' audience continue to grow, stay the same, or drop so that it could actually be in danger of being cancelled? The latter seems unlikely but we'll have to watch the ratings to find out.
Currently in its fourth season, this critically-acclaimed TV show revolves around Deputy Us Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) as he works to maintain order. The rest of the cast includes Erica Tazel, Jacob Pitts, Joelle Carter, Natalie Zea, Nick Searcy, and Walton Goggins.
The ratings are the best way to tell if Justified will be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season. The fourth season typically airs on Tuesday nights on FX. There are 13 installments once again.

Justified
Stars: Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy, Joelle Carter, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Walton Goggins, Patton Oswalt | Created by Elmore Leonard, Graham Yost
Early in the episode, Art Mullen throwing out his patented sarcastic puns, cheerily drops a famous quote from another detective, albiet one from long ago. “The game is afoot,” he coyly pops off to Raylan, who could be seen as a rougher, tougher backwoods Sherlock Holmes, but never has a statement, even one in jest carried this much weight. Almost all of ‘Foot Chase’ is spent hunting for a man very near death from a forced amputation, and finding this fellow is very important because he may have all the information in the world about the most hunted man in Harlan, the mysterious Drew Thompson.
It’s great to see someone paired up with Raylan, and seeing Jim Beaver’s Shelby paired up with him works quite well.
