Ahead of the home entertainment release of Bumblebee, Director Travis Knight talks about the first Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee.
Michael Bay has brought Hasbro’s Transformers to the cinema in a big way over the last decade. The tales of Cybertron’s Optimus Prime, Megatron and, of course, fan-favourite Bumblebee have made a huge dent at the box office. Now it’s time for the yellow bug to get his own film. Bumblebee goes back to the 80s, complete with G1 (Generation 1) Transformers such as Shockwave, Soundwave and Ravage and a kicking soundtrack. It may well be the film fans since the 80s have always wanted to see.
Knight talks about how he worked with Michael Bay, and how he protected the film as a protector of the film. With a mute titular character Knight talks about how his animator’s knowledge helped him bring Bumblebee to life.

Megyn Price (The Ranch) and Coy Stewart (Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will recur opposite Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias in Mr. Iglesias, Netflix’s upcoming multi-cam comedy series from the comedian and Cristela co-creator/executive producer Kevin Hench.
In the comedy, Iglesias plays Gabe, a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential.
Price will play Jessica Dobbs, a single mom in recovery who befriends Gabe at their AA meetings. Stewart will play Lorenzo, a conspiracy-obsessed student who doubts the legitimacy of the moon landing and the lone gunman theory of the Kennedy assassination. He ardently believes Tupac Shakur is still alive and will prove it if the government doesn’t silence him first.
Iglesias executive produces alongside Kevin Hench.

"This is how we stop them. You've got me... and I'm not going anywhere." Paramount has debuted the full-length, official trailer for Travis Knight's Bumblebee, the new spin-off movie from the Transformers series that's set in the 1980s. The first teaser is fantastic, but this looks even better. Even though they do introduce two other Transformer robots who will be the bad guys. Hailee Steinfeld stars as Charlie, along with John Cena, Martin Short, Pamela Adlon, Megyn Price, Kenneth Choi, and John Ortiz. [Editor’s Note: The following article contains spoilers for “The Ranch” Part 5 on Netflix.]
The ending written for Danny Masterson’s character on “The Ranch” is disgraceful. Offscreen, two women who accused the actor of rape are calling out Netflix for airing his remaining episodes at all, while onscreen, his character, Rooster Bennett, has been given an open-ended goodbye allowing for his return should the powers that be allow it. If one of these weren’t true — if the accusers were satisfied with the streaming giant’s response to their accusations, or if the series itself definitively ended Rooster’s storyline — then, perhaps, it would feel like viewers could move on from this controversy and go back to enjoying the unusually dark and sporadically funny multi-cam sitcom sans its problematic star.
But as things stand immediately following Part 5’s release, there’s really no other word for it: The ending of Part 5 is disappointing. Last December, Masterson’s front-facing...

Warning: Spoilers appear below.
When Netflix cut ties with “The Ranch” star Danny Masterson last December, the big question was how his character would be written out of the show. And now that Part 5 is out in the world, we know the answer: Jameson “Rooster” Bennett gets run out of town.
As fans of the sitcom comedy will remember, Masterson’s character was at the center of Part 4’s biggest cliffhanger. The show centers around Colt (Ashton Kutcher), who returns to his family’s Colorado ranch after his semi-pro football career fizzles out.
By the end of Part 4, Colt and Rooster went behind their father Beau’s (Sam Elliott) back to buy the ranch next door, taking advantage of the power of attorney Rooster was granted following Beau’s heart attack. But when the natural gas pipeline project that was going to be their financial windfall eventually fell through, the...

"You've got people out there who need you." Paramount has debuted a teaser trailer for Travis Knight's Bumblebee, a new spin-off movie from the Transformers series that's set in the 1980s. Hailee Steinfeld stars as Charlie, along with John Cena, Martin Short, Pamela Adlon, Megyn Price, Kenneth Choi, and John Ortiz. This actually looks like a nice step back from Michael Bay's crazy epic Transformers movies, and it's especially nice to see someone other than Bay directing this time. Even if you are totally over the Transformers series, this is still worth a watch, it might be the best one since the very first Transformers movie. I'm more than curious now. Watch below. Lifetime has given a series order to "Un-Real," a dramedy that takes place behind the scenes of a reality show and is executive produced by Marti Noxon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Mad Men").
Noxon is executive producing the series alongside her co-writer Sarah Gertrude Shapiro; it's based on Shapiro's short film "Sequin Raze" (whose trailer you can see here).
"Un-Real" stars Shiri Appleby ("Girls," "Life Unexpected") as Rachel, an employee of an "Bachelor"-like dating show whose job is to goad contestants into saying and doing outrageous things that make for compelling TV. Megyn Price ("Rules of Engagement") plays her boss, the show's executive producer.
"'Un-Real' is unlike anything that exists on television today," says Rob Sharenow, Lifetime's executive vice president and general manager. "It's premium and original on every level, and we're thrilled that Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro's unique series will be Lifetime's first program produced by A+E Studios.

Lifetime’s new drama pilot The Lottery has added Young and the Restless fave Michael Graziadei, CSI alumna Louise Lombard and Spartacus‘ Lesley-Ann Brandt.
From Children of Men scribe Timothy J. Sexton, the conspiracy thriller is set in a world where humans are facing extinction and women have stopped having children. When 100 embryos are suddenly fertilized, a national lottery is held to decide upon surrogates.
Per Deadline, Graziadei joins as a recovering alcoholic who is father to one of the last children born in the country, with Lombard playing an artist-turned-Washington power player. Brandt, meanwhile, will portray a soldier desperate to have kids.

We're all aware that many people in Hollywood share an uncanny resemblance. We're not about to rattle off some tired list of celebrity twins. Instead, we take things up a notch with Hollywood Doppelgänger Math, a new series from GeekTyrant that is sure to change the way you look at actors and the roles they play. To make the cut, a person has to look like the sum of at least two other people. For this first collection, we focused on equations that resulted in young and/or up-and-coming actors. We have also included a list of other connections the actors share.
All three have played secondary love interests in popular sitcoms; Amy Adams in The Office, Alison Brie in Community, and Alexandra Daddario in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. One of the longest-running current comedies on TV was cancelled Friday: Rules of Engagement will air its last episode on CBS this season.
While never a critical favorite, the ensemble half-hour sitcom starring Patrick Warburton, David Spade and Megyn Price nonetheless gave CBS a workhorse — a show that could be used to fill holes in the schedule when weaker titles couldn’t earn high enough numbers.
Rules started and ended its run as a midseason replacement for the network and survived several rounds of cuts when odds-makers bet against the show returning. Not since Fox’s Til Death has a...

With just a few episodes left of Season 7 and no renewal news yet, CBS's "Rules of Engagement" takes a dramatic turn with Monday's episode, titled "Timmy Quits." Megyn Price, who plays Audrey, was given the chance to drive that episode home as its director. "I think the gift for me was that I was given a script that had depth and also comedy," Price told TheWrap of her first crack at directing. "I had to direct David Spade, and Adhir Kalyan to go there," she continued. "It's a serious story that...

Apart from being one of my favorite actors, Donal Logue is also coming up in three of my favorite shows. Unfortunately (maybe), once in a while you find yourself in an interview that turns out, somehow, not to actually be one. You have your questions set out. You know the shows and the talking points. Your subject is equally prepared to run through the routine of extolling the virtues of whatever they happen to be working on. But, it doesn’t end up going that way.
These are the interviews which ultimately find you running out of time, and scrambling for something, and spitting out, “Umm… tell me about the show.”
Or, to put it another way, these are the interviews that make you glad you don’t work for someone, who might not think it’s actually completely brilliant that you killed thirty minutes talking to Donal Logue as...

Drop Dead Diva returns to Lifetime on Sunday (9 p.m. Et), and after three seasons of Jane (Brooke Elliott) pining for Grayson (Jackson Hurst) — the man she was engaged to as model Deb, before Deb died and her spirit entered attorney Jane’s body — the tables will turn. Last we saw Grayson, Deb/Jane’s best friend Stacy (April Bowlby) had informed him “I’m not Deb, Jane is,” and now, he’s the one smitten. The problem: Jane saw Grayson kiss Stacy in a moment of missing Deb, and she went to Italy with Owen (Lex Medlin), with whom she’s now happy.

"Rules of Engagement" is sticking around CBS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network ordered a 13-episode Season 7 of the David Spade comedy.
"Rules of Engagement" Season 7 is set to debut in midseason. The comedy, which also stars Patrick Warburton, Megyn Price and Oliver Hudson, has bounced around CBS's schedule, often occupying the timeslot of an axed series.
Last season aired Thursdays at 8:30 p.m., following "The Big Bang Theory." In the upcoming season, CBS put "Two and a Half Men" on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. timeslot. Should the network's only new comedy premiering this fall, "Partners," ("Friend Me" will debut midseason) fail, CBS could slot "Rules" in Mondays at 8:30 p.m., after "How I Met Your Mother."
Last season, "Rules" debuted to about 11.5 million viewers in October, but ended Season 6 with 7.2. However, CBS had shelved the show for three months between December 2011 and March 2012.

Drop Dead Diva Season 4 to Premiere June 3rd
Lifetime has announced a premiere date for season four of Drop Dead Diva. Beginning on Sunday, June 3rd at 9:00, the 13 episode season thrusts us back into the world of Jane Bingum and company, as each and every character is facing some type of professional or personal dilemma. The Fred/Stacy/Grayson situation gets even more complicated, thanks to the events of the third season finale, while Kim can't seem to keep control of the firm while Jane's away in Italy.
But since this is Drop Dead Diva, you have to wonder about who the guest stars are going to be. The show has never been shy about bringing recognizable faces into its world and the upcoming season looks to be no different. What does Megyn Price, who plays Audrey, think of the six-and-a-half-year-old comedy’s “Comeback Kid” status? “It’s not even that we’re the comeback kid,” she tells TVLine. “It’s more a testament to our fans, because they literally find us no matter what.
