[[tmz:video id="0_zh9m059b"]] Pete Rose can uncross his fingers and stop holding his breath -- he ain't ever going to Cooperstown, so says his former teammate Johnny Bench. Bench says he wishes Rose would make the Hall ... but he knows it ain't ever gonna happen,...

Pete Rose is already banned from Major League Baseball — now he’s probably prohibited from Alex Rodriguez’s house, too. The legend nicknamed “Charlie Hustle” (that’s Pete Rose for those who went “huh?”) made things weird this week during a Fox Sports Mlb Postseason pregame studio show, where he and A-Rod sit right next to each other. Rose was trying to make a point about how he sees Chicago Cubs stud Anthony Rizzo inspiring his teammate Kris Bryant during these pro baseball playoffs. The domestic hit king said it was similar to how Derek Jeter must have inspired longtime teammate Rodriguez.

A review of the "Better Call Saul" season finale coming up just as soon as I know what a Chicago sunroof is... "I know what stopped me. And you know what? It's never stopping me again." -Jimmy There's a moment early in "Marco" where Jimmy and Kim walk past the dented trash can in the Hhm parking garage — a reminder of so many of Jimmy's early frustrations with his brother's law firm — and he assures her that he's at peace with what he learned about Chuck. It seems, just then, that the "Better Call Saul" creative team — most of them (like co-creator Peter Gould, who wrote and directed the finale) veterans of "Breaking Bad," a show largely defined by the patient way it moved through its arcs — will be playing a particularly long game in getting us from Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman. Chuck's betrayal was a brutal blow,...

Mark Waid is a man that needs little introduction for comics fans. The Eisner Award-winning writer has shaped the industry over the years with his work on The Flash, Fantastic Four, and Kingdom Come with Alex Ross. We got the chance to talk with him about his career and his upcoming horror book Shadow Walk with Legendary Comics.
Talk to us about Shadow Walk. What drew you to the project in the first place?
The basic concept and what drew me in…it wasn’t the people, it wasn’t the company, although all those things contributed to making it a great experience, but it was the basic concept as envisioned by Thomas Tull, who is, of course, the head of the studio. He threw the elevator pitch out [that] The Valley of the Shadow of Death, that we’ve sort of known from Biblical passages as an allegory—really isn’t an allegory.

This past Monday on Raw, the roster rose up against their corporate oppressors to help out Daniel Bryan battle against the Shield. The ripple effects of this and the treatment of Dusty Rhodes carried over into the Main Event and gave hints of crossing over to future events of Nxt as well. Let’s talk about the Main Event first.
This week Main Event came from my surrogate hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio . Alex Riley, subbing for the decimated Miz thanks to Randy Orton, sat alongside Josh Matthews to call the action. Interesting enough, they did not replay the footage of the attack on Monday.
The action begins with the spiritual son of Curt Hennig (Dolph Ziggler) versus the biological son of the WWE Hall of Famer Curtis Axel. The third-generation athlete came out along with Paul Heyman in a wheelchair with Ryback following behind. It’s really interesting to see...

Pete Rose can't join baseball's Hall of Fame, but he is joining such esteemed company as Jon and Kate Gosselin, the "Sister Wives," and "Cake Boss": He and his fiancée are getting their own TLC reality show. It will be, unfortunately, one of those relationship shows built around a ginned up conflict: Rose's ladyfriend, Kiana Kim, lives in Los Angeles with her children, while the 71-year-old Rose, banned from baseball for gambling, lives and works in Las Vegas. (Because where else?) You might think Charlie Hustle would have the stamina to fly...

E-40 loves to rap — why else would he drop three albums in a single day? Last week, Forty Fonzarelli released The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil in three parts, as three separate albums. It may seem like an unorthodox strategy for some, but for the Bay Area rap legend, the decision was quite simple.
"I'm independent now and it's like, hey, I got unlimited music," E-40 explained when he appeared on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday. "That's all I do, studios are my life. I have a passion for this, this is what I really want to do."
Forty is definitely a keen businessman as well. His strides in the independent market earned him the nickname Charlie Hustle, but for the ambassador of the Bay,...

When it opened on July 1st, Delhi Belly took audiences, critics and the box office by storm. We here at BollySpice loved it and in fact, gave the music 4.5 stars and the movie 4 stars! Produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Abhinay Deo, the film stars Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor as the main characters in the madcap comedy. However, they were supported by two fabulous actresses, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala, whose characters got mixed up in the madness that is the story of Delhi Belly. With the success of the film, it has been a mad whirl for the cast and crew and only now has Shenaz had a moment to sit and chat with us about Delhi Belly. In a fun and wonderful interview, the actress talked about making her character funny, what it was like working with the cast, her love for Aamir Khan...

This documentary is screening as part of the All Sports La Film Festival and will be screening this Saturday. Information can be found on the website. In the interest of full disclosure, I was afforded press passes to attend this screening.
These days, Pete Rose looks like a Reno televangelist. Decked out in a striped dress shirt with "Hit King" embroidered on the collar (a design which he owns in several different color variations), unnaturally darkened hair, spangled boots, and a flashy gold watch, Rose and that famous gap-toothed grin weeps at adulation and preaches the gospel of baseball with fiery bluntness. He is not here to preach a loving and embracing sport but that of damnation and hellfire. Like a scarred and weathered Fred Flinstone, Rose is doing everything he can in his waning days, beseeching all who will listen to accept him into the hallowed gates of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Brüno was damn funny in small doses, but as an entire movie, it kind of lost its way. But when the film comes out on DVD November 17th, it will have a few more small doses, like this deleted scene with Pete Rose.
If you saw the film, you know that Sacha Baron Cohen tried the same stunt with Paula Abdul, using "migrant workers" as makeshift furniture for an interview. I didn't think it would be funny the second time through, but I was kind of wrong about that. I don't love the clip, but it's so weird to see Pete Rose here that it's worth a quick look.
The only trouble is, Rose is so well-known for taking any payday at this point that this one could be a complete plant. Sure, he's seen a lot of strange things in his day, but I think I'd be a little...
