This summer, Vince and the boys are back in the hotly anticipated Entourage movie. Fans of the hit HBO series quickly learned that in the world of Hollywood, it’s all about exclusivity and being in-the-know. Fortunately, HBO is making it easier than ever to catch up on the series and gain exclusive access to a movie certificate for the film through a partnership with Fandango. It’s no secret that HBO has been home to much of the finest programming on television in the past decade, and Entourage has been a big part of that.
It sits amongst esteemed family: The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, and Flight of the Conchords, to name but a few. And it goes without saying that it more than holds its own.
Sad though it may be, all good things must come to an end, and as the saying goes, it’s better to burn out than to fade away, and Entourage goes out strong with its eighth and final season.
Picking up shortly after the last season left off – with Vince (Adrian Grenier) caught in possession of narcotics after a beat-down at Eminem’s party – the last ever season of Entourage sees our movie star back to his usual self after seeing a somewhat darker side of him in season seven.

Chicago – I remember when “Entourage” first took off back in 2004 wondering how Doug Ellin and his talented cast could possibly keep this concept fresh for the length of a series. Wouldn’t we get tired of watching Vinnie Chase (Adrian Grenier) try to make it big? Or worse, would these guys turn into the preening celebrities that the show at least somewhat skewered at the start? Could they keep it fresh? Even the most diehard fans of the HBO hit would admit they’ve struggled to do so but things were looking up regarding a solid final arc after last season, one that actually injected a bit of edge into the program by allowing Vince to deal with addiction. The show still wasn’t up to the standard of the first 3-4 seasons but it wasn’t as bad as season six.

Despite the glitzy backdrop of Entourage, the show has always been about the relationship of four best friends. From this 28 minute tribute to the show, it’s apparent that Adrian Grenier (Vince), Kevin Dillon (Drama), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy) emulate that brotherhood in real life. This farewell video takes viewers through the early days of the show and how it has been creating the story and fleshing it out over the years. The four guys above sit down with showrunner and creator Doug Ellin and writer Ally Musika to discuss the fun times they’ve had over the years. Chiming in from other locations are Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold), Rex Lee (Lloyd), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloan), Perry Reeves (Mrs. Ari), along with a number of the actors that have done cameos/story arcs over the years including Rhys Choiro and Gary Busey. Mark Wahlberg, whose life the show is roughly based on,...

Plot details have been revealed about the final season of HBO's hit show, Entourage. Constance Zimmer (Dana Gordon) revealed some spoilerish information to TV Guide during an AIDS event over the weekend. Zimmer talked about the season and what might be on the horizon for her and Ari Gold may end up getting a divorce. Her response, "What happens with us is what I think fans have been hoping would happen at some point. It could be a little raunchy!"
She aslo went on to talk about the story and plot development of the upcoming season and how it differs from prior seasons:
"[They] dive very deep into their inner cores of who they are as people, which we haven't been able to see," she says. "We've seen a lot about the work and the industry, and this is about what these people are deep down and what they've been missing in their lives.

Entourage changed up the formula with its surprisingly somber seventh season, departing from the light and carefree air that it’s known for. Nevertheless, it was an important chapter in the saga of Vinny Chase and friends and will be yours to own when it releases on home video on July 12, 2011. That release date gives viewers twelve days to rewatch Season 7 before heading into the eighth and final season, which debuts on July 24th.

Episode Title: "Sniff Sniff Gang Bang"
Written By: Doug Ellin & Ally Musika
Story: Plans for an animated series starring the voice of Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) catch a network's interest, but Drama himself isn't sold on the pitch. Following the public revelation of his infamously vulgar rants, Ari (Jeremy Piven) attempts an attitude makeover. Meanwhile, Vince (Adrien Grenier) has to convince his girlfriend Sasha Grey to turn down an alluring porn gig all while convincing studio executives — and Eric (Kevin Connolly) — that he's not on drugs.
No More Mister Nice Guy: When Vince first accepted Eric as his official manager, he warned his lifelong pal that the job could test the limits of their friendship — and in recent episodes of "Entourage," that conversation has come back around in a big way.
Eric is absolutely right in suggesting that Vince is on a free fall thanks to his recent self-destructive behavior.

Episode Title: "Tequila and Coke"
Written By: Doug Ellin & Ally Musika
Story: Vince (Adrien Grenier) is clearly on a punch drunk in love (and a real drunk on tequila) downward spiral that has him fighting for the highest paid role of his career. Speaking of tequila, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) deals with a business setback. Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Drama (Kevin Dillon) deal with some business issues of their own, while Ari (Jeremy Piven) attempts to cool Lizzie (Autumn Reeser) off of her revenge kick.
Mixed Up: Things aren't getting any better for Vincent Chase. Already targeted by his friends and colleagues for his hard partying ways, Vince comes under further scrutiny when "Airwalker" director Randall Wallace thinks that the Hollywood icon is nose deep in a cocaine habit. Although he tells Eric he's fine, girlfriend Sasha Grey indicates that Vince actually does have a coke problem — something that's bound to...

Episode Title: "Bottoms Up"
Written By: Ally Musika
Story: While partying, Vince (Adrien Grenier) finds a new romantic interest in the form of retired pornography actress Sasha Gray, playing herself. Thanks to Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), Vince and Sasha embark on a tequila-filled day, possibly ruining one job opportunity and launching another in the process. Meanwhile, Drama (Kevin Dillon) finds his John Stamos dreams are close to an end, while Ari (Jeremy Piven) struggles to hold onto some high profile clients and Eric (Kevin Connolly)... tries... well, something.
X-Rated Action: Let's get one thing straight — any episode of "Entourage" that features Bob Saget, Mike Tyson, Jessica Simpson, Stan Lee and Aaron Sorkin in the same half hour is a very, very good episode of "Entourage." It's even better when they're all in the episode for very different reasons.

Written By: Ally Musika
Story: Vince (Adrien Grenier) finds himself in a middle of a public relations problem over his recent Nick Cassavetes-directed action flick, but it's not the problem that everyone thinks. Eric (Kevin Connolly) helps Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) on his quest to find a new script, while Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) has a bone to pick with Alex (Dania Ramirez), his recently released employee. Meanwhile, Ari (Jeremy Piven) meets up with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and other NFL officials with a major football pitch.
Studio Notes: The season is starting to take a turn. Thanks to his recently reclaimed success, Vince finds himself falling in a common Hollywood trap — boredom. It's a dangerous thing, especially when it leads him to dramatically chopping off his signature lengthy locks and offhandedly badmouthing his current movie project. Entourage Season 7 returns June 27th to HBO. With 10 episodes on the way, Entourage will make it to 88 recorded episodes. The series stars Adrian Grenier as Vince, who is enjoying life in the limelight as a hot young actor; Kevin Connolly as Eric, Vince’s manager; Kevin Dillon as Vince’s half-brother Drama, whose own career has been eclipsed by Vince’s success; Jerry Ferrara as his pal Turtle; and Golden Globe® and three-time Emmy winner Jeremy Piven as Ari, now heading an entertainment-industry behemoth. Also featured on the new episodes of Entourage are series regulars Perrey Reeves as the long-suffering Mrs. Ari; Rex ...

HBO's Entourage returned this week and was consistently awesome. I'm convinced that Entourage will never die, it is just too cool for death. The premiere kicked off a bunch of new threads withe the Entourage getting pulled in all sorts of directions. Eric is thinking of moving out, everybody's wondering why Drama even has his own house since he's always at Vince's, and Vince has a big premiere and needs his license for a new movie. Llyod is determined to get a promotion, and Ari is prepared to put him through weeks and weeks of hazing to get it. Sadistic douche. Now here is a look at the episodes coming up next month.

Chicago – How does a show about the “next big thing” in Hollywood age? Do we really want to see the boys of “Entourage” grow up? The first two seasons of Creator Doug Ellin’s incredibly clever show crackled with wit rarely seen on television and stood with the best comedies. But season five, now on DVD, shows a series with a slight identity crisis, a comedy that is still entertaining but missing the spark that once defined it.
DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0 If there was a “jump the shark” moment for “Entourage” it was, ironically, the same disastrous event in the fictional career of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) - the fictional epic “Medellin”. The writers and producers spent so much time on the project that they lost a lot of the creative energy from the first two seasons in the story of an ambitious film gone disastrously wrong.

HBO led all TV networks in attracting nominations in the 60th anniversary WGA Awards, fetching two noms for dramatic series writing and three for comedy series writing.
In the dramatic series category, HBO's The Sopranos and The Wire are joined by Showtime's Dexter, NBC's Friday Night Lights and AMC's Mad Men.
In the comedy series category, HBO attracted noms for Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage and Flight of the Conchords. Also nominated in the category are NBC's The Office and 30 Rock.
Conchords also attracted a nom in the category of new TV series, where it joins Mad Men, FX's Damages, ABC's Pushing Daisies and Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program.
The WGA's recent news releases have dealt almost solely with its ongoing strike against some of the same companies figuring in the WGA Awards. The guild had planned to release its TV and radio noms today but released the information late Wednesday without previous notice.
"In order to maximize press coverage for the 2008 Writers Guild Awards as well as not compete with Golden Globes' nominees ... we made the decision to go out a day earlier than previously announced," WGA West spokesman Gregg Mitchell said.
Globe noms were released this morning.
The WGA Awards are set for Feb. 9, with simultaneous ceremonies planned at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles and the Hudson Theatre in New York.
