Kevin Feige could have looked look a Sentinel from The Matrix, and not a machine in your ophthalmologist’s office, based on newly revealed concept art for the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season finale.
Midway through what was shaping up to be a “messy” finale showdown, Jen Walters (played by Tatiana Maslany) escaped through the Disney+ menu screen, confronted She-Hulk‘s writers on the Disney lot, and then marched off to meet with the revered K.E.V.I.N., a “giant A.I. brain” whose name stands for “Knowledge Enhanced Visual Interconnectivity Nexus.”

"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" quickly became one of the most interesting Marvel Cinematic Universe titles. No, it is not the best, but it brings a lot of new and fascinating things to the franchise, from its humor to its sex-positive attitude that we've never seen in the franchise before. Plus, let's not forget how it expanded the Marvel universe in ways that more accurately reflect the comic book world it is inspired by, even if they didn't have a huge impact on the MCU at large.
Indeed, the meta humor alone was a beacon of light in a franchise that was getting stale in its style of humor. Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters constantly looked at the camera and poked fun at the conventions of a Marvel show in hilarious ways, even if the show still followed most of those conventions. Still, the low stakes, bigger focus on slice-of-life, mundane problems,...

Jeff Simpson is the new managing director at Byu Broadcasting, overseeing multiple channels including BYUtv.
Simpson joins the Provo, Utah-based company from Deseret News in Salt Lake City, where he’d been president and publisher since 2017.
“I often refer to Byub as ‘the little engine that could,’ persistently steaming up abandoned hilltops, such as capturing a co-viewing family audience, and Jeff Simpson is the perfect conductor to lead Byub up the next mountain and into the future,” said Michael Dunn, the departing managing director of Byu Broadcasting.
Simpson began his career working at Walt Disney Studios in the Television and Motion Picture production group. He then built Excel Entertainment Group, a media distributor that was acquired by Deseret Book Company in 2004. He served as EVP and chief operating officer of Deseret Book until he was named president and CEO of Bonneville International in 2010. In 2013, he was named president of Deseret...

★★☆☆☆ When Graham Chapman joined the choir invisible in 1989, it put an end to rumours of a full Monty Python reunion once and for all. The majority of the gang have been brought back together though, in voice at least, for an animated chronicle of the life of the inimitable comedian. In 1980 Chapman wrote his fictionalised memoirs, which involved little factual fidelity, and more concern with the kind of flights of fancy for which he and his colleagues were famous. A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman (2012) is a film adaptation of that book directed by Bill Jones, Jeff Simpson and Ben Timlett.

Premiering tonight, November 2nd at 10pm Et on Epix, "A Liar's Autobiography - The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman" is an animated version of the late Monty Python member Graham Chapman's semi-fictionalized memoirs. It's not a Monty Python film, though it was made with the participation of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, with an audio recording Chapman made three years before his death at the age of 48 providing the main narration. Bill Jones, Jeff Simpson and Ben Timlett directed the feature, which mingles the stylistically varied work of over a dozen different animation studios. "A Liar's Autobiography" is strictly a Python B-side -- combining Chapman's deliberately fuzzy storytelling with an even looser structure, the film demands a pre-existing familiarity with the troupe's work and with Chapman's life, including his homosexuality and his alcoholism. The animation tends...

Watch new clips from Epix's A Liar's Autobiography - The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman including images. The animated comedy directed by Bill Jones, Jeff Simpson and Ben Timlett, features the voice talents of Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam and Cameron Diaz among others Graham Chapman, probably best remembered as 'the dead one from Monty Python', writes and stars in the animated movie of his own life story, A Liar's Autobiography. He was born, he went to Cambridge and met John Cleese, he smoked a pipe, he became a doctor, he became a Python, he decided he was gay (well, 70/30, according to a survey he did on himself), he got drunk a lot, he stopped being drunk, he made some films, he had some sex (actually, a lot), and moved to Los Angeles. Finally, he was whisked up into space by aliens (although...

If ever you damned time for moving forward solely because it made the young men of Monty Python into the old men of Monty Python who don't get around as much, then A Liar's Autobiography - The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman should be firmly on your radar as it reunites the famed troupe and brings their comedy to the screen once more. The downside of course being that it's animated so it's just their voices, but still, hearing Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam bring the story of the late Graham Chapman's life to...err...life, is enough of a treat. Directed by Bill Jones, Jeff Simpson & Ben Timlett, A Liar's Autobiography is an eclectic mix of animation styles and comedy that recalls some of Monty Python's best bits, and it also features voice appearances by Cameron Diaz, Carol Cleveland, Philip Bulcock,...

I now have to accept the fact there will be several films showing at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival that I simply won't be able to see. I have gone to Cannes three straight years and this will be my third year in Toronto and of the six festivals I've never seen a line-up packed with so many highly anticipated films and today the fest added even more. Sending out the complete line-up today the fest has added three films to their Galas selection and 18 Special Presentations along with several Contemporary World Cinema selections, the latter of which includes James Ponsoldt's Smashed which is said to feature a performance from Mary Elizabeth Winstead that may be up for Oscar consideration. The announcement confirmed Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master will be part of the Special Presentations selection as will Brian De Palma's Passion, a remake of Love Crime...

The fact this is only the start of the films announced for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival is staggering. I don't even think someone's wishlist could have matched what we're looking at and there is still more to be announced. But we'll worry about what's to come soon enough, let's have a look at what will be arriving. First taking a look at the World Premieres we see the opening night film, Rian Johnson's time travel feature Looper starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt followed by the highly anticipated Wachowski sibling feature Cloud Atlas; Ben Affleck will bring Argo to the fest just as he did The Town; David O. Russell's The Silver Linings Playbook will have its premiere; Blue Valentine helmer Derek Cianfrance will premiere The Place Beyond the Pines starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes; Mike Newell's Great Expectations will also...

John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones will turn late actor's memoir into animated 3D film
He found himself laughed at, misunderstood and nailed to a cross while the crowd looked on the bright side. Now Graham Chapman, Monty Python mainstay and title star of Life of Brian, is set to rise again in a 3D animated biopic.
Adapted from the actor's 1980 memoir A Liar's Autobiography: Volume VI, the film will blend contributions from the surviving Pythons with audio of Chapman reading from his book, recorded shortly before his death from cancer in October 1989. According to the New York Times, the picture is the brainchild of producers Ben Timlett, Jeff Simpson and Bill Jones, the son of former Python Terry Jones. It is set for a theatrical release in the UK next spring.

A 3D animated adaption of Monty Python's Graham Chapman's memoir, 'A Liar's Autobiography: Volume VI,' is in production with most of the remaining Pythons providing voices.
Chapman, who died in 1989, will narrate the feature, using recordings of him reading his memoirs that he made in 1982. 'A Liar’s Autobiography' was published in 1980 and tells of Chapman’s progress through medical school, alcoholism and his sexuality, as well as his career move to comedy. The memoir also contains several passages of pure fiction with contributions from a number of co-writers such as Douglas Adams.
John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam have all signed on to record various voice roles in the feature . The only Python notably absent so far from being involved is Eric Idle.
Terry Jones said: "I had no idea until recently that Graham Chapman is in fact dead -- I thought he was just being lazy.

London-based distributor Trinity announced that they will be distributing A Liar’s Autobiography, a film based on the outlandish book by Monty Python’s Graham Chapman, who died in 1989, in UK cinemas in Spring 2012. Sadly, back in 1989 the world lost a charmingly funny man as Monty Python troupe member Graham Chapman died from cancer. However, it sounds like the funnyman might come back to life in some form on the big screen. Apparently most of the remaining members of the infamous comedy gang are in the midst of adapting Chapman's fake memoir A Liar's Autobiography: Volume VI into a new 3D animated film. The New York Times says no less than 15 different animation companies are working on different chapters from the book with segments varying in length from three to twelve minutes each. Read on! Bill Jones, Ben Timlett and Jeff Simpson, creators of the fantastic comedy series "Monty Python's Flying Circus" are producing and directing the feature which will also utilize Chapman's voice from a recorded reading of the book made shortly before his death. The Monty Python gang is (mostly) back together. With the exception of Eric Idle, the complete Monty Python - even Graham Chapman, the dead one - is back together and hard at work on an animated adaptation of Chapman's A Liar's Autobiography: Volume VI. Written roughly ten years before his death by cancer, A Liar's Autobiography chronicles Chapman's life as a founding member of one of the greatest comedy groups ever to walk this earth as well as his experiences as an openly gay man and a closeted alcoholic. Produced by Bill Jones, Ben Timlett and Jeff Simpson the film will be animated in a variety of styles with segments ranging from three to twelve minutes with Chapman himself providing a great deal of...

Despite having died from cancer in 1989, Monty Python member Graham Chapman (or rather his voice) will re-team with his fellow Pythons for the 3-D animated anthology film adaptation of his absurdist memoir “A Liar’s Autobiography: Volume VI" reports The New York Times.
The new film has 15 animation companies working on chapters that will range from 3 to 12 minutes in length, each in a different style, adding up to a film about 85 minutes in length. A UK theatrical release is planned next spring with a TV and online debut to take place in the U.S.
Bill Jones, Ben Timlett and Jeff Simpson direct the project in which most of the surviving Python members perform newly recorded voice roles that are cut together with Chapman’s voice from a taped reading made shortly before he died.
John Cleese will voice a scene where he and Chapman engage in a long conversation on a bike.

Having one of their number die in 1989 is clearly no obstacle when the Pythons decide to get the band back together, and it’s a Beatles ‘Free as a Bird’ style reunion as the remaining members of the comedy group are currently recording voices which will be cut together with Graham Chapman’s own voice recording of his book A Liar’s Autobiography: Volume IV*.
The New York Times report that an 85 minute 3D animated film will be the result with a number of animation companies working on bringing the surreal stories to life on the screen, although there’s no news on Terry Gilliam’s involvement on the animation side, something he has said he has deliberately moved away from over the years, however there’s never been a better time to return to the drawing board.
