On Episode 12 of Project Runway All Stars, the designers had to use technology to create their own prints. Then they had to go to Mood to pick out yet another print to create a head-turning print-on-print garment. Kini and Dom excelled in this challenge while Ken and Sam faltered, leading the judges to decide to make an impromptu one hour challenge on the runway to determine who would go to the finale. Here are the six looks from the episode (including the two impromptu pieces from Ken and Sam) ranked from worst to best. I want to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Update: He flounced out. He flounced back in. Ken got upset and left the workroom, heading out into the street and going wherever he went. He was not seen in the workroom the next morning when the other designers returned to finish their garments. But then he just showed up again and got back to work. He explained that he got so frustrated and was on the verge of taking it out on the other designers and everyone around him, so he needed to step away and cool down. (Apparently that's Ok, in terms of the rules of the show, to just leave and come back?) Although Ken lost a ton of time on his design, and neither he nor the judges liked it much, he did not go home. Instead, Layana Aguilar was eliminated. And now the drama can continue for the rest of the season...

On last week's episode of Project Runway All Stars, the judges declined to eliminate a contestant in the bottom for the second time this season. While it goes against the laws of reality TV, it is nice to have both talented designers Sam and Valerie back. Let's see if they can prove the judges made the right decision going forward.

On the last few episodes of Project Runway All Stars, some of the designers have been getting a little fed up with Sam's domination of the competition thus far. And their attitudes toward him don't seem to be improving as he's constantly praised by the judges. Jealous much? Let's see if they can act more like professionals moving forward.

If there's one thing that can make us forget that Finn is dead, it's Adam Lambert joining the cast of Glee! We're sure that's what the producers would like us to say, and it's not far from the truth. Glambert is a pretty exciting addition to the show.
Is Moving 'Glee' to New York a Good Decision?
But despite them wanting us to move on, it's hard to ignore that they're still basically pretending that everything is picture-perfect in Glee-dom. Aside from a passing comment and a background photo on a wall,...

AMC has decided it Better Call Saul for help after losing one of its signature series. AMC has reached a deal for the long-discussed Breaking Bad prequel focusing on the life of Saul Goodman before he met Walter White. According to Deadline, a series is set to be ordered as soon as deals can be finalized with Bob Odenkirk (who plays Saul) and spin-off co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould (who wrote the episode that introduced Saul).
If this prequel is still set in Abq, then from my perspective it’s all good, man.
For those of you who miss The Nine Lives of Chloe King, the series may not be getting a follow-up movie but you will be able to buy the script for that movie, as reported by TV Guide.

VH1 has ordered a reality series that would follow Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes. I might be tempted to tune in and hit the fast forward button until I see Cibrian in some sort of state of undress, but I’m not particularly interested in their tabloid drama.
Or maybe there’s an Eddie Cibrian calendar I can buy instead.
Deadline reports that NBC has ordered a comedy pilot from Happy Endings creator David Caspe. Mad About You, Marry Me follows a young newlywed couple who quickly realize marriage is harder than they expected. I’m starting to detect some familiar themes.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Glenn Howerton will appear in a multi-episode arc on The Mindy Project, according to E! Online. There are some minor spoilers in Howerton’s role.

In today’s edition of questionable-sounding ideas, producers are trying to sell an Exorcist series.

Lifetime’s Devious Maids drew scorn from some cultural critics based on its promos alone, but with its Sunday-night premiere in the books, the question looms: Will the sudser clean up with audiences?

TV Land has ordered a fifth season of Hot in Cleveland, which will bring she comedy to its 100th episode.
According to a study by Nielsen, Twitter can predict a show's success in the ratings. Basically, an increase in how much people tweet about a show predicts an eventual increase in the ratings. That seems obvious, but this study measures and quantifies the connection between the two.
Fox is currently developing two potential mini-series and now it's considering two more. One would be about the O. J. Simpson...

Now that New New Directions are on their way to Sectionals, Finn is starting to worry that they won't be able to hold the audience's attention without Rachel and Kurt and Santana and Mercedes, which, as any viewer of season four can tell you, is a valid concern. Although, if he'd let Kitty stand on stage and roll her eyes for like three straight minutes, that'd go a long way to softening up the judges' hearts.

Cp Media and 2&2 Productions have launched a $100 million new joint venture whose first project is to expand film and TV production in Columbia. Their first project will provide U.S. producers with upwards of 50% of financing for feature films or long-form TV movies shot in Columbia. “This is the most attractive incentive out there,” said Cp Media CEO Sam Azar. “It’s not a tax credit or a rebate. This is dollar-for-dollar matching for productions filmed in Colombia.” Cp Media is a subsidiary of Miami-based development company Cp Group which handles cooperative ventures between Latin American and U.S. businesses. 2&2′s credits include Latin editions of American Idol, Project Runway and Sesame Street. “Even without an incentive” Colombia is a popular location, said 2&2 Production Va Daniel Garcia Mendoza. Cp Group is the featured construction company on the Hgtv show Urban Oasis and hopes to increase potential for tie-ins.

Winemaker Ben Flajnik is the lucky (if dull) bachelor seeking a second chance at love after falling short of winning Ashley Herbert's heart during last season's "The Bachelorette." Twenty-five women will enter the mansion, including one enthusiastic senior citizen named Sheryl, a sexy equestrian who arrives on horseback, and an athletic soccer player. But which 18 will make it through to next week?

Happy Birthday to out Jonathan Knight (above), who turns 43. Time to name your top five New Kids On The Block songs! I was never a huge NKotB fan, but a few of my favs were "Step By Step," "The Right Stuff," and my #1 "Tonight." Big Glee news! TV Line is reporting that Ricky Martin is in talks to guest-star as “the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio.” A singing Spanish teacher, of course. The episode will air in late January. I know Ryan Murphy said no more stunt casting, but ... it's Ricky Martin!Speaking of, TV Line also has a spoiler about what Sam will be up to when he returns to the show. Here's a hint - shirtlessness is involved. In other casting news, Daniel Radcliffe will star as Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, alongside Chris Evans as Jack Kerouac and Ben Wishaw as Lucien Carr.

For 20 years, Jordache kept a low profile — but it’s back in a big way, returning to both stores and television this fall. Get all the details on the brand’s return — and on their new campaign gal!
Jordache is back in a big way, and they’ve enlisted Katrina Bowden as the star of the television campaign, in hopes to revive the denim brand. The 30 Rock star who plays the sexy assistant on the NBC series with co-star Tina Fey, will serve as a fashion-forward time traveler in the 30 second clip!
During the duration of the commercial, the New York denim brand’s progress development will be displayed in a sort of time warp. Katrina will be pictured strutting her stuff during the the Seventies in a bombshell Farrah Fawcett get-up, which will then move into the Eighties, exhibiting the acid-washed trend! The commercial then moves into the Nineties...

You Think They Talk About Gawker This Way?
Well, Christmas is almost upon us and I have to say this week I received just about the nicest gift I've received in a very long time. Actually, it was a gift for the whole staff and we got it from ... you guys!
TigerCub started a forum thread he titled Merry Xmas Ae Staffers that was all about saying thanks for the site and the work we do. And he even did caption pics for it! (Of course, picture captions are my turf, but I'm willing to make an exception this time.)
Reading the comments you guys left on the post about the site, well, it means a lot to all of us here. Writing for the online world can be a rough and tumble experience as folks are usually not shy about sharing their opinions. That's mostly a good thing as...

A while back we posted a picture of Jai Rodriguez in drag for an episode of the upcoming NBC series Harry’s Law on NBC. But it was much more complicated than that picture let on. Jai says he’s done drag before, but this role actually required him to “change my gender.” He cites Candis Cayne as his role model, and says he has two big production numbers as a singer in the show as well.
Speaking of NBC, they’re developing a new period drama set in the Playboy clubs of the 1960s. For the younger readers, Playboy used to have private clubs, with women in backkess swimsuits and bunny ears serving drinks. I’m not at all sure how a broadcast network could handle the gender issues and the smoking, but I’m curious to find out.

There was really no question about the results for this week's Asshat. Clint McCance ran away with a stunning 81% of the vote for saying that he'd wear purple if all gays killed themselves. His attempt at redemption on AC360 failed to change any hearts or minds. Even Dr. Phil called the apology insincere, and if anyone is an expert on insincerity, well, it's him.
Only the perennial favorites of the Catholic Church managed to crack double digits, and Robert Rowling's $2 million donation to Karl Rove's anti-gay Pac only garnered 3.6%, despite costing the company at least four Gold's Gym franchises in San Francisco.
Clint McCance will only wear the trucker cap of shame for a week unless he takes to Facebook again. We'll pick a new antihero next week.

Another One Two Bites The Dust
After making it until nearly November without losing one of our new TV 'mos, the ax fell this week on not one, but two gay characters. Getting pinkslipped first was Alejo on ABC's The Whole Truth followed by Sam Adama on Caprica.
And that just sucks Imho. While neither show is perfect, I have to say it's disheartening to live in a world where Charlie Sheen gets to wreak havoc and Two and a Half Morons still continues to rake in bucks and ratings. Meanwhile, two of the more interesting and well-developed gay characters in quite some time can't even manage two dozen episodes between them.
But the news isn't all bad. As I mentioned in the last column, this week saw the addition of Jesse on HBO's In Treatment. Trust me when I say Jesse is going to make United States of Tara...

When I saw that this week’s episode was written by Alan Ball, I got all excited. I figured any episode penned by the vampire master himself would have to be pretty amazing. Plus it would provide interesting insight into how he’s feeling about his creations this season (now at its half-way point).
The answer, it seems, is that he’s as bored as we all are by the show’s myriad subplots. I say this because he spends the majority of this episode, by far, dealing with political intrigue in and around Russell’s mansion. This part, as it’s been all season, was indeed amazing. (In fact, I’d say I’m enjoying the Russell storyline much more than the maenad/Fellowship of the Sun business of last season.) Which only serves to make the subplots – even those involving the were pack and Alcide – that much more of a drag.

Shocking but true…Stephanie and co-star Sam Poueu fell in love on TV, but to give their romance a shot producers completely edited their romance off the show!
Stephanie Anderson may have lost her spot on The Biggest Loser: Couples March 30, but the latest castoff says that being given a shot at love has made her the happiest she’s even been in her life. Sounds like a winner to us!
“Sam and I formed a really great friendship that fell into ‘like,’ that fell into love,” the 29-year-old radio executive from West Hollywood, Calif. told reporters March 31, gushing about her first ever relationship with fellow contestant Sam Poueu, a 24-year-old football coach from Rohnert Park, Calif.
Although the love birds fell for each other almost immediately upon meeting at the ranch in Sept., producers edited their romance completely off the show — which is something we would have loved to witness!

Sam, we had no idea you were so into Fox’s American Idol! But you watch it religiously and tweet constantly about who you think should win!
Samantha Ronson is an American Idol fanatic! Sam, a celebrity deejay — and Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend — tweets about American Idol All the time. We had no clue super chill Sam even watched TV … let alone take her for an Idol addict. Sam always makes sure to let everyone know which contestants she’s “fast forwarding” through and which ones she “hearts.” Are you going back and forth about who to send home tonight? Take a peek at what Sam tweeted, and she if she influences your vote! After all, she will probably be the one playing songs from the winner!
Here’s who Sam wants to stay in the competition!

2010 has already proven itself to be a big year for games and only two months have gone by so far. From the look of things, March doesn’t seem like it is going to slow down either.
Cross platform heavyweights Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Final Fantasy Xiii start off the month strong while Mega Man 10 finds itself sprinkled through the month on the various consoles. Closing out the month on the cross platform titles is Just Cause 2.
Likely the biggest individual release will come from the PlayStation 3 with God of War III. After being the inevitable comparison for Dante’s Inferno, Kratos comes out on March 16th ready to take no prisoners. The PlayStation 2’s lifecycle finally looks to be coming to an end as it only has one release this month.
Take a look below at every game coming out for the month of March.

Don’T Let Perfect Be The Enemy Of Good
The news this week that Fox had ordered a script for a possible U.S. version of Torchwood set off our usual battle royale in the comments whenever the subject comes up. I swear I could post Captain Jack's grocery list and get fifty comments in ten minutes.
Our own poll showed 50% of readers thought the idea to be “an abomination greater than Ianto’s death and the extinction of all life on earth combined" or something like that.
Burn Fox! Tar and feather Rtd!
And get that idiot editor of AfterElton.com!
Actually, the poll showed that a bare majority of 51% would be willing to at least give the show a chance. Of that, only 4% said they would definitely watch while of the no vote, 21% said "Hell No, Bad Idea" and another 21% said "After what happened to Ianto, this show is dead to me.

I don't know what it is about CBS' The Amazing Race, but other than Project Runway, I can't think of another reality show that gives us as many interesting gay contestants as does Tar. Last season it was Mike and Mel White, as well as Luke Adams who was deaf and gay and competed with his mother Margie.
The network just announced the new line-up for the season debuting September 27th and it includes Sam and Dan McMillen, two brothers who only recently came out to each other. As you can see from the above pic, the duo are not only cute, but young and fit, something that bodes well for them to go far in the show.
So add The Amazing Race to your list of Must Watch Gay TV! And kudos to the show for continuing to present all sorts of gay relationships and pairings on the show.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson had another busy weekend in LA. Friday night the girls hit the Roxy Theater where Lindsay watched Sam spin and on Saturday it was back to the budding designer and Project Runway guest judge's favorite pastime, shopping, and lunch at Fred Segal. Unfortunately, the news of DJ AM and Travis Barker's plane crash hit the girls hard and both of them took to their MySpace blogs to share their thoughts. Lindsay wrote about treasuring life and being thankful in the wake of such a tragedy while Samantha encouraged people to send their prayers to her good friend DJ AM and all the others involved in the crash. Incredibly luckily it sounds like both men are expected to recover and hopefully know they have love and thoughts coming from all over the world including their celebrity friends. To see more of Lindsay and Sam's...
